The Pathfinder Foundation (PF) has signed an MOI with the Vivekananda International Foundation (VIF), New Delhi on first week of March 2014. This follows a recent meeting Milinda Moragoda, Founder, PF had with Ajit Doval, Director of VIF in New Delhi.

The two Foundations will work towards enhancing economic relations between the two countries; deepening civilizational links, including the exploration of the possibility of promoting mutually beneficial cooperation between the leading Hindu and Buddhist establishments of the two countries; jointly organizing lectures/seminars/conferences on important issues facing the two countries for the development of closer bilateral relations.

The two Foundations will also issue joint statements, which will seek to improve understanding of key bilateral issues and raise public awareness of the possibilities for win-win outcomes.

The overall objective of the cooperation between the two Foundations would be to strengthen economic, political and people-to-people relations between the two countries.

    What is happening here?

SL having a STATE WITHIN A STATE?

Pathfinder Foundation is a Norway funded NGO. They were VERY ACTIVE during NORWAY PEACE PROCESS. How can it decide BILATERAL RELATIONS between 2 countries?

That is what the STATE should do. Not NGOs.
