Dear Editor:

I hate to tell you this that it was a matter of time that Canadians would come face to face with terrorism, and we did  on 22 October 2014.  We were never immune to terrorism while cynically slapping other countries, like Sri Lanka, for fighting terrorism, and wanting to bring those who fought to give the right-to-life to 22 million of its peoples by eliminating  the most ruthless terrorists in the world, the Tamil Tigers, in front of an International Criminal Court for alleged human rights violations during the bleeding 27 year Tamil separatist war.  It was one terrorist in action and the whole Canada’s capital Ottawa was in a lockdown.  You might wonder what hundreds of Tamil Tiger terrorists did to all of Sri Lanka as their terrorism was a daily affair.

While I am saddened by the unnecessary cruel death of Cpl. Nathan Cirillo,  and I grieve for his family as I did for 27 years for  thousands of  Sri Lankan families who lost their loved ones at the hands of the Tamil Tiger terrorists.

Canada will and has changed as of October 22, 2014.  Prime Minister Stephen Harper signaled that there will be changes in three specific areas related to the police and security; surveillance, detention and arrest.   I don’t blame him and I hope he won’t be challenged in parliament for tampering with civil liberties.  What is at stake right  now is the security of our great country and its peoples.

Prime Minister Harper repeated the same words that Sri Lanka’s President Mahinda Rajapaksa often said, We will not be intimidated.  We will be vigilant, but we will not run scared.  We will be prudent, but we will not panic.”  I sincerely hope now with this terrorism experience Canada will respect Sri Lanka’s actions to get rid of their terrorists, the Tamil Tigers, who perfected the suicide bomb having inventing the suicide body pack, and detonated 388 suicide bombs in Sri Lanka killing and maiming for life thousands of  innocent civilians.

Prime Minister Stephen Harper and  his  Minister of Foreign Affairs,  John Baird, should take a deep breath when dealing with Sri Lanka the way she deals with Tamil Tiger terrorism and not get into hissy-fits, like boycotting the Commonweath Summit in Colombo.    And  they should stop flirting with Canadians and parliamentarians  who are Tamil Tiger sympathizers, especially the ones  in the Greater Toronto Area, as it will some day pounce and  bite their hands.

What goes around comes around … the Canadians are getting an object lesson.

Ignoring other people’s pain and suffering, because of local political expediency, demands the payment of a PRICE IN BLOOD & FLESH. Canada is now paying that price.

Welcome to the REAL WORLD, Canada!

Indian Tamil party leader accuses BJP government of openly aiding Sri Lanka

    ColomboPage News Desk, Sri Lanka.

Oct 25, Chennai: A Tamil Nadu Tamil political leader today criticized the Indian government’s policy regarding Sri Lanka and charged the government of acting against the minority Tamils.

The general secretary of the MDMK, V. Goplasamy aka Vaiko warned the BJP-led central government that its policy on Sri Lanka may have its repercussions in the future.

The pro-Eelam Tamil Nadu political leader and MDMK founder, slammed the senior BJP leader Subramanian Swamy’s demand that India’s highest civilian award, the Bharat Ratna, be conferred on Sri Lankan President Mahinda Rajapaksa, saying the BJP cannot ignore its responsibility by just distancing itself away from Swamy.

“Though the previous UPA discreetly helped Sri Lanka against Tamils, it later backtracked but the BJP government is openly aiding Colombo,” PTI quoted Vaiko as saying.

He condemned the BJP leader Swamy’s “brazen” call to award Bharat Ratna to Sri Lankan President.

“This is infuriating. It amounts demanding Bharat Ratna for General Dyre, who led the Jalianwala Bagh massacre. Have the Prime Minister (Narendra Modi) or others from BJP condemn Swamy for this? No. They cannot ignore their responsibility by saying it was his personal opinion,” he said.

Vaiko also opposed various other steps initiated by New Delhi regarding Sri Lanka, including hosting its top defense officials.

The NDA government though that there was none to question it and its continued ‘anti-Ealam Tamils’ stand will have its own repercussions in the future, Vaiko said even as BJP aims to put up a good show in Tamil Nadu in the 2016 Assembly polls.

    ……….My Comment…………..

One lesson would be to STOP PREACHING and UNDERMINING other nations fighting terrorism, like Sri Lanka which succeeded in eradicating the Tamil Tiger terrorist group after 30 years and 150,000 dead citizens, to garner the votes of a few Tamil Canadians!

Local political expediency pandering to minority communities who support terrorism abroad, should never be allowed to determine national foreign policy. Don’t let terrorist lobbies determine Canada’s foreign policy!

Learn and Change, at least now, your ways of mollycoddling terrorists wailing about fictional “discrimination” even as they fund terror overseas and undermine Canada’s welfare system and laws, thinking it will never happen to you!

Welcome to the Brave New World … CANADA! Time to GROW UP!
