Maithripala is a weak link, the ones who came not strong, where the 45 who promised to come,Ranil accuses ChandrikaIt is reported that Ranil Wickremasinghe has scolded Chandrika Kumaratunga accusing why the promised 45 members have not come yet.

He had said that he consented to Maithripala Sirisena to be the common candidate as he was in the opinion se huld brhing in 45 members more than the present number of UNP members. At the media briefing he had said that 20 more members were coming. Now where are those who were to come he had asked. He had also asked where are the strong members who promised to come.He regret for allowing a weak person like Maithripala Sirisena to be the common candidate.Because of the former president he is now unable to get the support of TNA and JVP parties he had said.

Honestly, Lanka Cnews, how predictable all this sounds! You’ll have to come up with far stronger, substantiated, arguments. I didn’t know a lot about Maithripala, now I think I do. He is a fine gentleman who can be respected. We don’t want a muscle-bound thug; this is a man who thinks and feels for people. All hail to our leader!

Lankacnews is run by Wimal Weerawansa.

It OBVIOUSLY supports MR but it has news others don’t report.

Daya — MS is a fraud and hypocrite who says the right thing in public and then does the OPPOSITE in private. The incidents were he abused his power as a minister by getting his son out of a jam with the police for badly beating a man who was requesting that he delete nude photos of his drunken pals that contained his wife in the background (and beat his wife too), and another incident where he abused his power to help his brother’s hotel win a dispute with farmers over two feet of water shows MS ‘talks’ about corruption and the rule of law but thinks the law does not apply to his own family.

These are certainly not the actions of a “fine gentleman who can be respected”.
