SILENCE OF VEN MADULUWAWE SOBHITHA THERA!

The Ven Sobhitha Thera has been confined to a hospital for quite sometime. Ven Sobhitha did all pioneering work for the campaign to select a Common Candidate to face the President Mahinda Rajapakse. His plans went wrong during the last stages with the intervention of Mrs Chandrika and Mr Ranil Wickremasinghe. Ven Sobhitha has been sidelined by the leadership team which consist of Tamil Diaspora and Anti Sri Lankan Nationalists. This must be causing severe distress to a Buddhist Monk who has enjoyed the utmost respect in the community in the past.
This is not a time for Ven Sobitha to remain silent, in fact if he is against the possible appointment of Mr Ranil Wickremasinghe as the Prime Minister, it is no one else who could correct the situation, but Ven Sobitha himself.
Ven Sobitha is now in a position to compare the election manifestos of both leading candidates and determine which candidate is offering national security, unitary stature of state and an introduction of a new Constitution by converting the Parliament into a Constitutional Assembly. We urge Ven Sobitha to make a clear public announcement clarifyng his own position.
Dear Sobitha Thera, you did start this campaign, please complete it in flying colours. This is not a time to remain silent, even though your plans did go wrong, you can steer the wheels back to the correct direction. You will have overwhelming support of national minded Sri Lankans, locally and overseas. You will protected by them from the Gang of Tamil Diaspora and Ranil-Chandrika-MS imperialist puppets.
We wish speedy recovery for the Ven. Sobhitha Thera.

I had no respect for Sobhitha thero from the start. He is another person with an enormous ‘Vairaya’. His cause has been hijacked by Kumaratunga and the diaspora.

Sobtha’s Dayakas are from Pettah and Fort. One of them I knew some time back is a billionaire business man who arrived in the island with a penny about 70 years ago. They are all Indian colonial parasites. Chandika knows them very well as they provided Bandaranaike’s house hold from dried fish to dresses.

Ven Sobhitha is a stooge of the Catholic Church activated to dislodge Mahinda Rajapakse from power leading the way to dismemberment of Sri Lanka; their unfinished project for Sri Lanka. His handler was late traitor Catholic Dr Jayalath Jayawardana. He has travelled the world collecting funds for this unholy enterprise. He was recently exposed by a Sri Lankan lady living in Norway. He is now looking like the fox who ate Ati Kehel!
Just as much as President Rajapakse helped the traitor Jayalath Jayawardanain his last days to receive medical treatment in Singapore, he should help this excuse for a Buddhist monk in his old age to extricate himself of the poison he has swallowed while in the company of the Catholic Church.
He should disrobe and not put Maha Sangha to disrepute.

During the early days of bogus Tamil Eelam, Ven. Maduluwawe Sobitha Thero did a yeamon service to the country by opposing it in numerous ways. He was one of the pioneers of famous “Maubima Surakeeme Sanvidhana” along with Mrs. Sirima Bandaranaike and Mr. Dhinesh Gunawardena and other patriots.
However, just before Ranil W signed the co-famous peace agreement with Velu, Ven. M.S. kept a very strange silence to the disappointment of many. There was a rumour that the UNF govt led by Ranil offered Rs. 3 Million to Rev. M.S in order to silence him.
Immediately after Ranil signed that devastating agreement with Velu, Ven. M.S. delivered a sermon in a foreign country where I was present. He said, “Pinvathunie, Sri Lankawa maha pudhuma ratak. Katha kalath baninawa. Katha nokalath baninawa”. This is obviously in response to his guiltiness!

Ven. MS has gone many times to Norway to meet LieTTE and NGO’s in the recent past. This was revealed by a lady living in Norway with Sri Lankan origin at a TV programme called ‘Doramadalawa’ by ITN.
According to her, all the Sri Lankans were feeling shameful for a Buddhist monk going behind murderers LieTTE. She did not know that Ven MS was a leading monk, she being a Christian or Catholic… what ever. She thinks there is a lot of money exchanged.
What was he doing there?. I think that is where he got the slogan to abolish EP, which was high jacked by the Bandit Queen and Run-nil.

What very few knew was that he smuggled him self in to Iran and met Ayatollah Homeni to lean how to become the spiritual leader of a country. This man hated Honorable MR since the day he became the Prime Minister. Refer to Charles Perera’s article where he shows what he wants to do when MR looses the 2015 election.

I agree with all the comments by everyone.I do not have any respect for such people at all whether he is a layman or a priest. They are cowards and traitors to our Motherland. Their words are evil. These Buddhist priests must stay in the temple and preach Buddhism to the public instead of taking sides and using words to make people angry each other.Instead of dividing they must unite the people as Buddhist priests. That is their duty.
See their angry faces and what nonsense they are uttering on the stage? They are also like politicians taking bribes from NGO’s and taking sides to throw mud and utter lies to satisfy our enemies to our country. Their time will be over soon and people of Motherlanka will understand who are these traitors very soon.Just give some time.

Recently, I was shocked to learn that Sinhala Christian, Pamankade Ravi is the cheif patron (Pradhana Dhayaka) of Kotte Naga Viharaya where, Ven. Madhuluwave Sobitha is the chief incumbent. Do we need any other evidence to prove that Ven. Madhuluwave Sobitha is against Sinahala, Buddhists?
When Pamankade Ravi visited Toronto, Canada about three years ago, he held friendly discussions with anti-Sri Lankan
Tamils MP in Canandian parliament Rathika Sithasebesian and issued a joint statement condeming the SL govt led by Prez mahinda Rajapakse.

I don’t know Sobiththaya but I knew one Main Street Indian Colonial Parasite who was very close to Sobithaya and Sobithaya helped this parasite with his business ventures. Sobithaya did the frontline work for Chandrika and waiting for the rewards. He is one of the mob who has done his part.

I think this priest is being blackmailed for some black deed in his past life. He is as much a puppet and a pawn in the hand of his current handlers.His previous handler was Catholic Jayalath Jayawardana. Now he is dead and thankfully out of business, Look in the direction of Catholic Ravi Karunanayake to find the answers.He has the means and the funds to lure him.
I know this priests conduct from the 80s. I remember one occasion when all the left and “progressive” parties worked together and carried out several Janatha Raliya’s beginning one at Thunmulla, a second one at Kandy and the final one at Panadura against the JR. This was lead by Mrs Sirimavo Bandaranaike. One thing that still stays with me is that none present on that occasion could gauge his loyalties. His forte, was given a brief, he could make blood curdling speeches. Further than that his loyalty was questionable and he was entirely untrustworthy. Dinesh Gunawardana took part in these Raliya’s and he should know more about him than many others.

About three months ago, a regular commentator of this website stated that Venerable Madhuluvawe Sobitha Hamudhuruvo did a highly shameless act in a foreign country not suited even to a layman which only Pamankade Ravi knew. It looks like that PR is now blackmailing this monk to achieve his sinister anti national agenda.

Somebody must ask Maduluwawe Sobhitha Thero what he did in Chennai in the company of traitor Jayalath Jayawardana. The trip was ostensibly to carry a sapling of Sri Maha Bodhi to India. This Bodhi Sapling was taken around the island for veneration of the public before finally taking it to India. What happened in India is anybody’s guess. Most of the Buddhist Monks who accompanied Sobhitha thera were wined and dined – eating beef and pork and consuming liquor all at the expense of the Catholic Church in Sri Lanka. There are many lay people who accompanied this delegation. They all know what happened but are afraid to talk about what really took place.
I believe these are the occasions the Catholic Church is using to blackmail this hapless man.
The Buddhist heirarchy must investigate the connection that Jayalath Jayawardana and Ravi Karunanayake has with the Maha Bodhi Trust.

The above story by Ratanapala is somewhat similar to what happened to Venerable Gangodawila Soma Thero a few years ago. The Editor of Soma Theros Buddhist newspaper cajoled him to go to Russia with him for a doctorate for Soma Thero. But instead of a doctorate, Ven. Soma Thero had to return home lifeless. Later it was revealed that the main conspirator in Russia is that Buddhist newspaper editors own brother who happened to be a Christian pastor (priest)!
See this is how Christian/Catholic churches conspire to destroy Buddhist revival in Sri Lanka and other Buddhist countries in Asia.

Marco, a few minutes ago I posted a slide show I copied from an e-mail I received a few year’s ago which illustrates pictorial evidence about the conspiracy against Ven. soma Thera but I got a responce from Lankweb to say “your comment is awaiting moderation”. Hope they will publish it after reviewing!

Most of us associate with Sinhala Christians and we see them as our enemies. We don’t have much to do with Hindu Indians and don’t see what they are up to. A close friend of mine was working in a garment factory owned by an Indian colonial parasite of the main street. I would say he is the third largest garment manufacturer. My friend got in to some disagreements with the management and Sobithaya behind the scene helped the management to harass my friend. I knew this merchant had some connection with Sobithaya. Most of the Indian merchants in Colombo has close connection with leading priests be they Buddhists, Chiristains or Muslim. About Soma thera’s death I think this Christian you are referring to is a guy who has some sort of a Christian-Hindu cult with a floating educational institution in Ukraine. Soma Thero was anti Hindu and was critical of Buddhists who worshipped Indian Gods and that is what lead to his demise. Indians know how to mislead us and screw us politically, economically, socially and religiously.

Sorry, if LW doesn’t publish a few of your comments but at least it publishes
some of them. However, anti-national websites like Daily Mirror have completely blacklisted
my comments because I logically counter errors and lies promoted by the enemies of Sri Lanka through their comments. I have been noticing for so long that most commenters in DM and to some extent in Lankadeepa are tiger supporters.
I wish I can provide pool proof evidence of conspiracy leading to the untimely demise of Venerable G. Soma Thero but unfortunately I was not in Russia at the time of that tragedy.
