   Sri Lanka has become the only country to have

   TWO Prime ministers (One legitimate, one illegal),

   TWO oppositions (One FOR the Govt/President, the other for the “Opposition”) and,

   THREE Chief Justices, including one ONE-DAY CJ (influence of one-day cricket ?) and one doing absolutely nothing!

   Dear Professor don’t stop writing although there are only few give comments millions are reading your valuable articles in this country and abroad. People who love this country do not have any way of knowing the truth these days therefore people like you must keep on writing atleast people get some valuable information by reading these articles. We appreciate very much of your writings and we know that you are fighting on behalf of the Sinhala Buddhists and not to get famous for your own self. You make us strong and we owe our lives for people like you and others who work tirelessly to wake up the Sinhala Buddhists who fights each other than thinking how to save the country from local and Foreign traitors to the Motherland.

   We know that this Yahapalanaya is the most crooked,most vicious,most ungrateful,most inexperienced,most Christians,and most unpopular Govt we had for a long time. They will never ever save the Sinhala nation from invaders or terrorists but will support and help to destroy the Sinhala Buddhists or divide them and allow them to kill each other. This Yankee backed Christian Govt won’t do any good to Sinhala Buddhists.They already have started to raid temples and worship places and openly threaten Buddhist priests while Christian Bishops and Muslims protests freely against the Sinhalese. Why no one protests against this illegal Govt who appointed themselves as Ministers and Junior Ministers etc. I cannot understand the Sinhala Buddhists although I too is a Sinhala Buddhist. Sad very much about the situation in my beloved country.

   ඔබ දැනට විශ්වවිද්‍යාල මහාචාර්ය තනතුරක් නොදරන නිසා එසේ ආමන්ත්‍රණය නොකෙලෙමි . කෙසේ ආමන්ත්‍රණය කලද ඔබ එය සතපහකටවත් ගණන් නොගන්න බව මම දනිමි. ඒ ඔබවිසින් ලංකාවෙබ් අඩවියේ ස්වාදීනව පලකරන සියලුම ලිපි ඇල්මකින් කියවීමේදී මගේ සිත තුල ඔබට දී ඇති තක්සේරුව අනුවය.

   ඔබගේ ලිපි කියවන බොහෝදෙනා සිටින බව මම දනිමි. ඒවා තුල බොරුවට, මුලාවට හා සර්වපිත්තල සැරසිලි කාරයින්ට ඉඩක් නැති බැවින් එකී ගුණවලින් යුත් එවුන් ඒවා කියෙව්වත් නොදැක්කාමෙන් සිටීමට පුරුදුවී ඇත. එය එසේවුවත් එම ලිපි තුලින් ශ්‍රිලාන්කික සමාජයේ කැපෙන තැන් කැපිගොස් ඇබෙරෙන තැන් ඇබරි ගොස් රිදෙන තැන් රිදීගොස් අවසාන වශයෙන් ජනසමාජය ඔපමට්ටම් වන්නේනම් ඔබේ පරමාර්ථය ඉටුවන්නේය. එනිසා නොනවතා ලියන එක කරගෙන යන ලෙස ඉල්ලමි. කොහොම උනත් වෙදාගෙ බෙහෙත් තිත්තයි කියල මිනිස්සු කිවුවට වූවමනා එකා ඒක අමාරුවෙන් හරි බිලා ලෙඩේ සුව කරගත්තොත් ඒක වටිනවනේ.

   I totally agree with you.

   On my part I find Professor NdeS’s writings leave nothing to add on the subjects being discussed in addition to their having been written in clear language.

   The last paragraph, “ශ්‍රී ල නි පක්‍ෂයේ නිවට නායකයන් නොවන්නට මේ වන විටත් රනිල් සහ අනෙක් ඇමතිවරුන්ට විරුද්ධව විශ්වාසභංග යෝජනාවක් ගෙනැවිත් ඔවුන් ඇමති ධුරවලින් ඉවත්කර සංධාන ආණ්ඩුවක් පිහිටුවා අවසන් ය.”, says clearly why we still have this govt of RW.

   Everyone who knows anything about how the parliament works knows it and that is the tragedy we are living through now.

   දිගටම ලියන්න අපට ඔබ අවශ්ශය් ඔබ අන්තවාදියෙකය් කියන සුලුපිරිසට බුදුදහමට වඩා බටහිර විද්‍යාව මහාර්ඝය ඔවුන් ඉන් මත්වී ඇත .ගුං යානාවක වත් ඔබ ගොස් අත්තෙදය් සමහරු අසති සසෙක්ස් ගියේ පයින් නොවේ යය ඔවුන්ට තේරෙන්නේ නැතුවා විය හැක. අහසින් එර්දියෙන් යන හැටි තේරුම් ගියදාට ඔවුන් පසු බසිය් මම නම් ඔබගේ ලිපි 90% ක් ම කියවා ඇත . ඇත්තටම මම ජාතිකත්වය තේරුම් ගත්තේ ඔබ නිසය් දිගායු වේවා

   It is great that Prof. Nalin De Silva started writing again very frequently.
   I learnt that many people don’t read Iridha Divaina after his “Dekma” was removed from publishing. Instead, many people now read “Rivira”. If Rivira wants to get a good readership, it must give a prominence place in it to Prof. De Silva’s articles.

   I believe a lot of readers will be interested in helping Nalin by sending your arguments. I too like to see how the arguments go

   Prof. Nalin de Silva, Bengamuwe Nalaka Thera and the other ‘patriots,’ who are now holding seminars island wide titled ‘Country without Mahinda’, on February 24 challenged prime minister Ranil Wickremesinghe for a public debate on ‘communalism and nationalism.’ De Silva went onto say, “Ranil may be younger to me. I am a small man. No. No. Cannot say that either. Ranil became the prime minister by pick-pocketing the premiership. He is holding meetings and accusing us of being communalists. I publicly challenge Ranil to come for a public debate with me on communalism and nationalism.”

   We do not know what the premier’s response to that would be. Ranil should respond to the charge that he had pick-pocked the premiership. We are smaller men than Ranil and Nalin, but we are prepared for a debate with the professor on ‘communalism and nationalism.’ For that, we will not lay down any precondition. He can choose any print media in Sri Lanka as he wishes, in order to state his opinion.    The main objective of our effort is to practically resolve the theoretical issue of the intentional complication of communalism and nationalism. Also, our final aim is to open up to the Sri Lankan society the truth behind the empty shell called Mahinda Rajapaksa that has been much hyped by the media. Professor, we are ready. It is your turn now.

    There was plenty of evidence that the Presidential election was rigged. I am surprised that none of the people who are trying to bring back Mahinda thought of filing a court case about the rigged election. There were two articles written by Dirook Kannangara (See below) which showed that that number of voters in Jaffna, Vanni, Nuwara Eliya etc had gone by by almost 91% in some areas compared to the numbers who voted in 2010. I cannot understand why no one has brought this to courts with the proper evidence. If it can be proven in court or by the Election Commissioner that the election was rigged then the whole election is null and void and Mahinda reverts to being the President. Can someone please tell me why this was not done.

    I agree with you 100%. This must be investigated.
    Increase for Jaffna and Vanni is 160000+75000 =235 000 which is due to 235 000 double voting by Tamils, voting in Colombo early in the morning and quickly taking Yarl Devi and voting again in Jaffna and Vanni.

    Surely someone organised 23 Yarl Devis on the January 8ht ( each train has a capacity of 429 passengers but we can assume Tamils Sardine Packed themselves for a big cause.
    This is very easy to check, just find out who organised the 23 trains and under whose instructions.

    I have a problem with Professor Nalin De Silva. I don’t’ think he reads comments for his articles on Lanka web!. Why can’t he write them in English when he publishes on Lanka web. I have been out of SL for 45 years. I can read and understand Sinhala. But when it comes to writing I cannot do well. I do not have a Sinhala key board.
    1, Cerberus, I agree with you 100%. The comment you added are excellent. Why Can’t we talk about the Election Commissioner? We all agree the election was rigged. Now what are the average Sri Lankan in Sri Lanka can do? May be nothing because Ranil says he is the KING and Obama is the emperor.
