MR’s message read at rally in Kandy

A message from former President Mahinda Rajapaksa was read at the public rally currently being held in Kandy.
This is the second rally organized by several coalition parties of the UPFA, urging for Rajapaksa to be nominated as the party’s Prime Ministerial candidate for the General Election.
The first rally supporting Rajapaksa was held in Nugegoda on February 18 and drew a massive crowd, resulting in severe traffic congestion in the area.

I was there and it was a huge success it was carnival atmosphere with young and old dancing and clapping for every time they heard the electric name of “MAHINDA” It was fabulous to see such a crowd covering all the roads,Roof tops,some on trees etc. I will attend every rally hereafter to support the man who brought us real freedom and Peace not hatred and fear.
Hiru showed the rally last night in their DAVASE PUWATHA for a long period and I was surprised to see it in the beginning of the night news. Derana showed too and I do not know about others because I have stopped completely watching ITN & Rupavahini from the day Yahapalanaya took over. I do not like to hear their voices or the pictures as I dislike them very much because of what they did to our country in the past and the way they are running the Govt.now. Our stupids cannot understand what their plans are.All what they are doing now is illegal because their whole set up is illegal to me. If they are going to have a national Govt who will be the Opposition? Think of that my dear citizens? It will be like in 70’s when Amirthalingam became the Opposition leader in this country. We have to join the Nugegoda movement to save our Motherland if not you will repent later on.

Leave our people alone in Kandy,which is highly polluted and these events add to it.We will only, thanks to the colonials like to celebrate the Sri Dalada perahara.

The perahara was started by ancient SL kings, not the colonials!!!
In 1915 the colonials with SAUDI ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS tried to stop it and bang! There was a riot.
Kandy doesn’t belong to kallathonis or their Kolonials.
Kandy or Kundi is a STUPID word to start with. The correct name is MAHANUWARA. Like Endia change Bombay to Mumbai, Madras to Chennai, SL should change this Kandy-Kundi name to MAHANUWARA.

Old Kandy perahara was a foreign ritual stated from the palace to some nearby house of the king’s mistresses using the only road named Malabar street.
Perhara was meant for local Sinhalese. When the colonial administered Kandy,they sanctified the dark history of the place.
They filled up the Bogambara lake where the horrible king murdered the children of Ehalapola and the present lake was built by them using the little water hole that was used by the indulging king and his numerous females.
Leaders who had the convention with the colonials soon opposed them as they felt that they couldn’t enjoy the privileges they expect to enjoy.
Colonials celebrated the first Perahara for the humble people by bringing there the tooth relic. It was a process to erase the dark past and sanctify the place. First perahara that was celebrated in 1827 or 28 was opposed by the power hungry chieftains and the British had to bring in 1700 or 1800 Malay troopers to protect the humble people.
It stand to reason, if an employer wants to run a firm efficiently, like I do or if an admistrator wants to administer a country, then the people in command must respect the people they are commanding and see to their welfare. True there were cruelty in the process, like slavery and massacres but they talk and work themselves out of it as the majority will not stand for it, because they themselves(majority) suffered the barbaric rule of their rulers and the church.If they were that bad they wouldn’t build the first free collage in 1822 in Colombo, where non of the horrible kings have ever done so much to us either in India or in SL,not forgetting the other humble countries under them. So on the whole we all benefited from the last colonials, but no at all from the previous scoundrels that ruled us for thousand years or more. So get real about the history, it had never been good anywhere for the people. Sorry for errors, no time to check as Japan is opening up.
