Has President Sirisena Reached Peter Principle during 100 Days?

Definition of Peter Principle:
“Promoted to the highest level of Incompetence” – Short form definition of President Sirisena, being selected as the “Monkeys (RW+CBK) Paw” to enforce Regime Change by India + UK + USA.
Since his election on the 9th January 2015, President My3 Sirisena has stumbled from one pot hole to another.
RW, not necesarily with the highest IQ, a serial loser in his political career, was fine-tuned by USA-UK to find a stool-pigeon to topple ex-President Mahinda Rajapaksa. The scheming CBK-RW, having lost in their previous attempt to place General Sarath Fonseka on the Presidential pedestal, found a convenient Minister of Health, ready-willing-grateful accepting the generous offer.
Hasty reinstating of the ex Chief Justice and then firing her within 24 hours, and appointing a new subservient Chief Justice, a Tamil, simply to appease the Tamil population, at the behest of Norwegian & British politicians, was a questionable move.
Then comes the next bungling appointment of the Governor of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka. It is an accepted fact that the Financial Credibility of any country rests on the shoulders of the Governor of its Central Bank.
How can the President of Sri Lanka, appoint a non-citizen of Sri Lanka, a Tamil with a questionable reputation, with links to a notorious financial criminal languishing in an American prison, heed to recommendation from his Prime Minister?
It is alleged that the recommendation came from “Uncle” Ranil!

The promotion of General Sarath Fonseka to the highest honour of Field Marshall was an outstanding move to keep Fonseka out-of-wheel-grabbing should President Sirisena kicks-the-bucket!

Question for Mahinda Rajapaksa
In a way, these Acts of Betrayal, and Illegalities are a God-send to the Campaign of Mahinda Rajapaksa (MR). However, MR should give some serious thought whether MR should actually nominate his brother Gotabhaya Rajapaksa to the Prime Ministerial slot.
MR can take a leaf out of the Sonia Gandhi book, when she side-stepped the requests to contest as the Prime Minister of India, and appointed he trusted Leiteunant. MR has a Lt.Col standing next to him. The 100 days are almost arrived.
The clock is ticking by the second. The 100 days will end soon. The fun starts!

The good old Peter Principle is certainly true with Sirisena, and he reached his level of their incompetence on 9th January 2015.

Yes. MR should allow GR and step aside. Otherwise no chance (unless he promises to SCRAP 13 amendment).

I have not seen such a weak President in Lanka. Sad. MY3 behaves as though Lanka is still a Colony of Britain. When he said that he has to make Ranil PM as he has been ORDERED BY THE WEST to do so, I lost hope.
He seems worse after the famous naked hand shake. Gee ! how do we inject some calcium carbonate & silica into this person’s backbone ?
If he feels so weak, why did he opt for the Presidency ? I think ordinary folk in the village have more spirit & guts.

At least NOW he can use 'scrapping the 13th Amendment' as an effective campaign tool since the separatist crowd is not going to vote for him anyway as shown in the January election. So he doesn't lose any more votes, and he GAINS Buddhist majority votes he lost to Maithripala.
MR also has to do something radical on the corruption issue like promise to bar FOR LIFE anyone found guilty of corruption on his watch, and even throw a family member under the bus to underscore his reform on this issue.

I think the Peter Principle applies to My3 and many on the new cabinet under My3 as well as many on the old cabinet under MR. Gota, MR and a few others were an exception to this principle.
This is why Rajitha Senaratne of the old Cabinet lost Sri Lanka’s lucrative Fish exports to the EU and also never knew how to solve the ongoing Fishing problem with the Indians. As for the current cabinet, the very fact the Ministers are not able to understand the benefits of projects initiated by the previous administration, nor they know how to find funds for those projects, has left them with the only thing they know, that is to condemn the projects and the initiators and halt the projects which in the first place they could not understand. Yes they are all wearing “over size boots” and they are not clever enough to know it.
I think Gota was exceptional in his ability to plan for 10 years ahead and initiate and manage major projects to achieve those goals. In MR, he had a willing boss who trusted him to do a good job. They loved the country and they were keen to catch up the 30 years lost due to LTTE destruction and terror.
New leaders are yet to display those qualities and the country is suffering the consequences. Central Bank fiasco is a classic case and its cover up could be even more interesting to watch.

I am of the view that both Fish Exports & the Garment Industry GSP were removed by the EU as a Punishment to the MR govt for going to war with the LTTE, and worse, winning that war. Britain probably headed this initiative.
How come Tamil Nadu, which has done huge damage to the Palk Sts seas with bottom trawling and dynamiting of fish shoals, does not get rapped on the knuckles by the EU ?

I don’t agree that Tamil Nadu or LTTE Diaspora for that matter even Indian PM Mr Modi has any real authority. In different guises they are being used by the US and the West. The Agenda is drawn up for them. They are only following the orders.
MR could see through this and he loved the country. MR wasn’t going to dance according to their tune. That’s why the US and the West wanted him out. Now we know this corruption BS brought against him is a lie, otherwise it would have been proved by now. MR finished the war and brought so much development to the country. Our foreign reserves were high, per capita income was going up steadily. We were to reach US $4,500 by middle of this year though initially projected for a year after. We were on our way to reach US $8,000 in 2020. As MR’s election manifesto said “Mahinda Chinthana, Lova Dinana Maga”, we were marching forward very steadily. Our enemies could not bear this.
Unfortunately, some of the electorate too were blind. Then the regime change masters brought My3, not because he had Leadership qualities, but he too was from the village and was attractive to get the misguided Sinhala vote.
It is very important for the sake of all Sri Lankans’ to Bring Back Mahinda (BBM)

On the subject of Corruption, it is a world wide phenomenon. No one can stop a cop or a bank clerk asking for rupees to pad up his income particularly if there is illness in the family or aged parents depending on that worker. In India, we hear that govt clerks have their desk drawers open for the ‘santhosam’. The only way to stop some of the corruption is to have fair wages and helping hand funds for proven cases of difficult.
Corruption of govt officials at higher levels is deadly for any country.
