According to Lankanewsweb the president has last night promised the ex-president Chandrika Bandaranaike Kumaratunga and prime minister Ranil Wickremesinghe that he would summon SLFP general secretary Anura Priyadarshana Yapa and obtain his resignation letter. The two have tried to contact him to ask him about the status of his promise but both tried to get in contact with him over mobile phone, but all those attempts had failed. The president’s security has refused to give any firm detail regarding the whereabouts of the president..
Lankanewsweb says Maithripala Sirisen has come to Colombo in the afternoon to be a witness to the marriage of Hirunika Premachandra. After signing for the marriage, the president left for Kandy.
Meanwhile the Party seniors too, are trying to contact the president to decide on the nominations. For a reason best known to himself, the president has switched off his mobile phone and is keeping to himself.

Sira’s siblings are all thieves or gangsters as we all know same like him. We cannot expect anything good from this traitor except sweet talks with bogus promises same like from UNP Pachayas. If he join hands with Mahinda he will be able to survive five years if not I don’t think he will survive that long with his Tie Coat partner Ranil because of so much pressure he will get thru bad Governace.
Appa Sira must clean his brains,Ears and Eyes to understand the truth,hear the truth and see the truth. He is a man who changes his colors every hour because of inexperience. I hope MR will teach him how to be a President if he comes to power.
