Former UPFA MP Bandula Gunawardane said today COPE committee members had decided to explain their position to the court regarding the enjoining order which prevented the publication or circulation of the COPE subcommittee draft report on the sale of Central Bank bonds.

Mr. Gunawardane told a news conference that COPE committee members Susil Premajayantha, Lasantha Alagiyawanna, Sunil Hadunneththi and Weerakumara Disanayake are among the members who were prepared to go to courts.

He said they had also decided to issue a book which consists of special speeches made in parliament regarding the Bond issue.

We will issue a book based on special statements made in parliament regarding the bond issue. Publication of the COPE report can be prevented but they cannot stop the publication of the speeches in the Hansard. Then people will realise what has really happened,” Mr. Gunawardane said.

Former UNP MP Tissa Attanayake said there had been an increase in the cases of international intervention in domestic affairs under the new government and added that even the general election was announced due to international pressure.

President Maithripala Sirisena had assured US Secretary of State John Kerry and United Nations Secretary General Ban Ki-moon that the general election will be held in September. He is acting not according to the needs of the people but to satisfy the international community,” he said. (Ajith Siriwardana)

MY3 is an evil puppet and a traitor, he bows to pressures from the international community, not to the wishes of the people of Sri Lanka. The new UPLF government should impeach him soon after the election and kick him out.

WAY TO GO !!! TAKE ALL THE BUGGERS CONNECTED IN THE BOND FRAUD, TO COURTS.

WHY DID THE COURTS PREVENT THE PUBLICATION OF THE COPE REPORT.? I DO HOPE THAT DIRTY POLITICS HAVE NOT ENTERED THE REALM OF THE JUDICIARY.

It is a shame that a Sinhalese Buddhist Sucker has become the Lap Dog of the Foreign Interlopers. UNBELIEVABLE !!!

Every citizen must unitedly defeat this crazy, mentally disorder evil gang who were led by Ranil/Chandrika/Sira at any cost in the coming General election if they need to live in freedom and peace. This is not a joke this time because International community including UN and India interfering in our affairs openly. We should not allow that to happen. We all should understand their evil motives behind their friendship with our traitors. Chandrika is going around to collect money and get advise from various Foreign Govts how to destroy Mahinda and the Sinhala community. This Ham – Bacon eating high class clique doesn’t care a damn about the country or it’s people as long as they get the power. We have to be awake all the time and should not sell our homeland for few green bucks which they will distribute among the poor in this country secretly. The NGO’s will do anything to support this Corrupt Regime of Ranil/Chandrika/Sira. Be aware of their crooked plans and give them a good answer in the coming election by voting Mahinda back to power as he is the true leader for the Sinhala Buddhist people in this country.

Traitors must be put behind bars for wholesale corruption and for collaborating with foreign Govts openly to destroy a democratic free country. I Hope Mahinda’s group will explain the Cope report to every citizen of this country in all three languages where everyone can understand and have a knowledge of this daylight robbery executed by this UNP suckers.

We already know that UNP already got huge funds to fight election from BOND money. Money trail will lead to real culprits.

The Island newspaper did a yeomen service to the nation during the Eelam war. However, it has gone to dogs now! Thirisanie, the media prostitute, who was chased away during the previous management has been allowed to write once again in the Island and to sling mud at Mahindha. So, instead of The Island, we must read The Nation and Rivira more and more!
