SHOULD THE ELECTION BE DECLARED NULL AND VOID DUE TO ACTIONS OF THE PRESIDENT SIRISENA

Quote “The Commonwealth Observer Group commend that the election was credible and the final outcome reflected the will of the people of Sri Lanka. In a press briefing held today The Chairperson Dr.George Abela mentioned that the General Election held on last Monday was a democratic election and the environment of the election was calm and peaceful compared to elections held in the recent past”.
I am not sure how the election observers can say this when the President my3 created massive confusion in the mind of the voting public first by sacking the two General Secretaries of the SLFP and the UPFA on Aug 14 Friday at 3:00 pm just before the election. This was during the period where there is supposed to be no electioneering activity. It was against the Election Commissioners rules as well as the SLFP and UPFA party constitutions. Then on the eve of the election on Aug 16 he has sacked 13 members from the Central Committee of the Sri Lanka Freedom Party (SLFP). The President in his capacity as the Chairman of the SLFP has sent a letter to the Elections Commissioner informing him of the removal and a list of the new 25 members of the Central Committee, a source from the Presidential Secretariat said.
This again is against the Election Commissioners rules and the constitution of the two parties. By his action he created a confusion in the mind of the voting public about the UPFA.
It appears though he is supposed to be the leader of the party he was acting in a manner inimical to the party interests favoring the UNP. This is a traitorous act by any measure and one can judge the calibre of the man by these actions. All those in favor of Yahapalanaya should take note of these actions of my3 and decide if these are the actions a just man would do.
In my opinion the Election Commissioner must declare the election null and void and have fresh elections. The two parties must vote my3 out as the leader and elect someone they can trust.
THIS SHOWS HOW DANGEROUS THE PRESIDENCY IS IN SMALL PLACE LIKE SRI LANKA. IT IS LIKE A KNIFE WHICH CAN SLASH/KILL AS WELL AS SOMETHING WHICH CAN CUT VEGETABLES ! WE SHOULD CONSIDER REMOVING THE PRESIDENCY AS REV. SOBITHA, CHAMPIKA, REV. RATHANA, AND JVP WANTED IN THE FIRST PLACE.
WE SAW THE GOOD AND THE BAD IT CAN DO IN SRI LANKA. PRESIDENT MAHINDA RAJAPAKSE HIS POWERS TO GOOD PURPOSE FOR ALL IN LANKA, WHILE CBK USED IT FOR LETTING RANIL W SIGN THE DISASTROUS AGREEMENT WITH LTTE IN 2002. A STUPID MAN/WOMAN AS PRESIDENT CAN DESTROY THE COUNTRY VERY FAST.

HAD MR promised to SCRAP 13 amendment, UPFA could have easily won 125+ seats or even close to 160 seats giving it the required 2/3 majority to SCRAP the 13 amendment.
Considering the dangers faced by the nation, not promising to SCRAP 13 amendment is UNFORGIVABLE.

What is this commonwealth? Do they serve nation of Sri Lanka? Why other nations never being invited for monitoring? When UNP conduct elections with all the malpractices, still commonwealth declare the elections fair. They supply the legitimacy for UNP’s rigging of elections.

Election’s result was fixed. It is like match fixing. all they wanted was to have someone to say the election was fair. So no body can question their verdict. This is the type of five star democracy of the west.

Sri lankans will go into history for committing harakiri. They will be the next chagossians in Indian ocean.They even can’t go to streets and protest for rigging election because protesting is now a brand of the fifth column, the NGOs. When the country is divided, most probably under backstabber aappaya and Ranil, the only faction that had backbone to go to streets are now taken into the pijama or under the sarn of Ranil by the all time crook Anura. The price must be very high for such a betrayal. Now you can understand scale of this entire agenda and how everything will work. They have thoght not only how to defeat MR but also how to suppress the reactions.

Sira should take to a mental hospital for a check up.He is not fit to be the President of a country. His mind works as a Grama Sevaka. He is from a underworld family of 12. Maru Sira,Wali Sira,Gal Sira,Casino Sira etc. He should be sacked immediately by the people who loves this nation and the party S.L.F.P. Because of him we lost Pollonnaruwa seat where he comes from so he is not fit to be a President of a very old party like S.L.F.P. If he stays then we will have more trouble and the party will split in to pieces where no one can fix it.
This election was definitely fixed 100% Macko should be investigated.He too is paid agent of the west.Look at his record in the past. He was given millions to do this dirty job as per some sources.

When MR went away from Temple Trees, he said that he was handing over the Country to the People ….. I think he suspected what might happen with the Yahap govt. It is as he thought. Right now MR is blocked. The citizens of this country must put their thinking caps on and steer us out of danger. Do not allow the Tamil political parties to be the leaders of the Opposition. That was the position when the 13-A was imposed on Lanka, during the JRJ era. This time around, the positions are being filled in the same way for a Fed state.
See how Tamil leaders manipulate the show. With the 6-A never implemented, they have always safely demanded a Separate state for Tamils and vested interests have always pushed for it too.
Right now the Sinhala leadership is in disarray with two manipulated Elections. Ideal time to strike for a Fed state …..
unless the Sinhala people unite, this time it is kaput.

Bear in mind that it were the Tamil leaders who have put the War Crimes charges at the UNHRC against MR.
They are watching the stupid Sinhala folk infighting; and they are waiting in the wings for Tamil Fed state.

Much merit in Ananda- USA’s insert and comments where there is no room for what Lorenzo is promoting and will only confirm what much of the international community is finger pointing at that there are elements within the Sinhala community willing to agitate such actions detrimental to Sri Lanka but bearing in mind that Lorenzo does not sound like a Sinhalese person with a real love for his motherland perhaps it is tantamount to little or nothing despite sounding dangerous and ignorant..

We need a MERITOCRACY like SINGAPORE or China for a while (not permanantly). This BRITISH-US imposed democracy CANNOT save SL. Do you know what DEMOCRACY did to IRAQ, LIBYA, EGYPT, SERBIA, AFGHANISTAN, UKRAINE, etc.??

Sirisena spoiled the election and made it a circus by his poison letter and the firing of the chairs of the Central Committee of the UPFA before the elections.
I believe the elections should be declared null and void.
Foreign governments have poured compliments for Sirisena about democratic elections. Well, the people may have been democratic but Sirisena acted like a terrible a dictator.
