Is Sri Lanka the 30th state of India?

Press release National University Teachers Association of Sri Lanka
We wish to register our vehement protest against the statements made by Mr. Y.K. Sinha, HE the Indian High Commissioner, recently at the Taj Samudra Hotel in the presence of members of the Sri Lankan business community and Indian officials.
Reading Mr. Sinha’s remarks, we were left wondering whether this country is ruled today from Colombo or from New Delhi. He has the effrontery to make offensive remarks and to cast aspersions on political parties and personalities in our country. Mr. Sinha enjoys the hospitality of this nation, as a guest, only so long as he acts within the limits of diplomatic propriety and with due respect for the host nation.
We denounce his conduct as preposterous. We would like to know whether the External Affairs Minister of India would tolerate similar behaviour on the part of foreign diplomats accredited to India and, if not, whether she endorses the conduct of her country’s High Commissioner here.
What we find especially worrying is the total disregard of mutual respect, which is the mainstay of international relations.
We as patriotic university academics oppose the blatant violation of Sri Lankan sovereignty and dignity by the Indian High Commissioner. Sri Lankan government should consider declaring him persona non-graata.

Thank you for all the signatories of the National University Teachers Association for your patriotic stand. This shows those crooked politicians in the government that these leaned teachers are true patriots.

We are not the 30th State of India.
We are an Indian colony run by Indian imperialists and Indian colonial parasites and soon millions of Indian vermin after ECTA or something.

Memory jog :
*. INDIA trained the LTTE in Tamil Nadu.
*. INDIA imposed under Duress the 13-A on the JRJ govt.
What has HE Mr Sinha to say to this ?
Conduct unbecoming from Indian diplomats (we include then Mr Dixit of the 13-A fame and possibly 1983 Riots together with Cath church, as JRJ evicted the Papal Nuncio two weeks or so after the Riots of 1983).
We agree with the University Teachers Assoc. Bravo !
THE MOTTO ON THE INDIAN FLAG STATES : TRUTH WINS ! (Satya Maeva Jayathe)
TRUTH MUST WIN FOR THE SAKE OF SURVIVAL FOR ALL ON THIS EARTH.

It is very fast becoming 30th State,
Unless people divert attention from personalities to save the Sinhala nation.
People must join hand in hand without going after heartless politicians.
Problem is not the aggressor , aggressor is always the aggressor but if we fail to see the aggressor going to refuge of persons we mistook as our protectors, we only see the final result.

Dham,
It is these personalities who are driving the Nation nuts – they break the Law of the Land with impunity and get away with it. The Law is mocked on a daily basis. The present day leaders are to be blamed.
——-
If CHANGE (Venasa) has to happen, then the pros and cons of CHANGE have to be made Public first, without FALSE DISTRACTIONS, pouncing on War Heroes and blaming all the LAW BREAKING and wrong ideas back firing, brought about by Yahap, on the MR govt. The People will not be fooled.
That Yahap on the fast track to Capitalism/Fascism is evident. We are supposed to have a Nation called the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka. Under Yahap, is it so ?

If more PRIVATE INVESTMENTS and businesses (Ranil’s Comfort Zone) are to be brought into Lanka, then the climate for such Investments must be there. The World Bank made a comment to that effect recently. Confidence in the Leadership must prevail first. The leadership must create a climate of confidence for the investor on a long term basis. For that to happen, the People must feel confident about the Changes. The present leaders do not have the capacity to reach out to the People, explain to them what needs to be done to bring about a betterness through Change, and how they are going to do that. The People have NO CONFIDENCE IN THE PRESENT LEADERS. They are going on the past performance of these Leaders. We do not blame the People for feeling so – so do we.
We pass a Vote of No Confidence on the present day Leaders of Lanka.
