ඔන්න ඉතින් යහපාලනේ චන්ද දායකයාගේ නිදහසට අන්තිම ඇ නයත් ගැහුවාඉතින් කාල වරෙල්ලකෝ .මිස්ටර් ක්ලීන් ගේ සියලු අන්ක්ලීන් වැඩ වහගන්න හොඳම ක්‍රමය ”’තොරතුරු දැනගැනීමේ පනත ””’ අනුමත කර ගනීමය් තමන් පත් කරගන්න නියෝජි තයෝ මින් පස්සේ කරන වැඩ ගැන හාර අවුස්සා බැලීම චන්ද දායකයාට තහනම්මහබැංකුවේ හොරමගදිය වැනි දේ අවිස්සුවොත් පනස්දාහක් දඩ හෝ වසර දෙකක් හිරේ හෝ දෙකම .එට්කා ගිවිසුම වැනිදේ ගැන මින් පස්සේ කටපියාගන ඉන්න වෙය් රජය පිටරට එක්ක ගහන ගිවිසුම් වල ඇතුලාන්තය සෙවීම මේ පනත අනුව වරදක් විය හැකිය . ශ්‍රීලනිපයේ පැරදුන ය ඇමතිවරු වී සිටින නිසා ඔවුන්කරන වැඩ ගැන නම් ඔවුන් චන්ද දායකයාට වග කියන්න බැදී නැහැ. උන් බේරිලා .සෝභිත හිමි හිටියානාම් මේ නොපනත් පනත ගැන අහල පපුව පැලිලා මියදෙය් . මුළු රටම ඉන්දියාවට පාවල දුන්නත් එජාපයේ යට නම් ආයේ වගේ වගක් නැහැ .උන්ට ඕනේ මහින්දගේ හොර අල්ලන්න විතරය් ඇල්ලුවේ නැතත් අල්ලනවා වාගේ ඉන්න ඕනේ උන් හරි ආසය් මහින්දගේ ඒවා අල්ලන්න . නරියා එළුබිජ්ජ කටේ දාගන්න ඒ ක වැටෙනකම් එළුවා පස්සෙන් යනවා වාගේඑජාප කාරයොත් ඉව අල්ල අල්ලා මහින්ද පස්සේ යනවා …..මිස්ටර් ක්ලීන් කියනවා දැන් වැ ටෙය් දැන් වැ ටෙය් කියල මුනුත් ඉතින් තොලකට ලෙවකකා බලා ඉන්නවා . අනේ රටකට ගිය කලක් ඉන්දියාවේ කෝටි ටි ගානක් තියන ලෙඩ රෝග සේරම අරගෙන ”’ එට්කා” ආවිට ලංකාව අවීචි මහා නරකාදියක් වෙනවාමය් තොන්ඩමන්ගේ මුල් එකා වන කරුපය්යා සුද්දගේ කාලේ කුලීකුරක්කමට මෙහෙ ඇවිත් පස්සේ කන්කානියෙක් වෙලා සින්හලයන්ගේ මුදල් යටිමඩි ගහල වසර කීපයකින්ම ” වැ වෙන්ඩ න් ”වතු යායම මිලට ගත්තඑට්කා සමග එන උනුත් අපේ සේරම සුරගෙන යනවා සිකුරුමය් . 1941 දී තරම ජේ ආර් මන්ත්‍රණ සභාවට සන්දේශයක් ඉදිරිපත් කරමින් යෝජනා කලේ ලංකාව ඉන්දියාවේ ප්‍රාන්තයක් කල යුත්ය් කියල . එජාපයට චන්දය දෙන මයිත්‍රී රනිල් එකතුවට චන්දය දුන් එකෙකුටවත් ජේ ආර් ගේ එම ද්‍රෝහී අභිලාශය ගැන හන්ගීමක් වත් නැතුව ඇති දැන් රනිල් තම මාමාගේ පැතුම ඉටුකරන්නය් යන්නේ මේ පෘතුගීසිකාර රනිල් එජාපයින්ට තාමත් ”මහත්මයෙක් ”’ප්‍රභාකරනුත් ඒවගේම මහත්තයෙක් නේ .දෙන්නගෙම අත්වල ලේ .වැසිකිලි කටක් තියෙන නුතන ක්ලියෝපැට්‍රා ත් මුන්ට හේත්තුවෙලා රට බෙදන ගිවිසුමට ”” ග්‍රාමසේවක මුද්‍රාව”” යොදාගන්න හදනවා
දෙමල මිනිස්සු ”’සංඝයක් ”’ හැටියට වැඩ කරනවා සිංහලයන්ට සංඝයක් තියා විලිසන්ගයක් වත් නැහැ නැත නම් මෙලහට උන් වීදි බැහැල රට බේරගන්න .තාමත් සමහරුන්ට ඕන පක්ෂේ බේරගන්න මිසක් රට බෙර ගන්න නෙමෙය් ඔහොම ගියොත් ”’පක්ෂගාතේ ”’ හැදෙය් එතකොට හතර ගාතෙන් වැටිලා බුදියගෙනම ඉම්මු .

යූ ඇන් පීය පරාජය කිරීමට පවිත්‍රාගේ ක්‍රමයෙන් හැකිය. යූ ඇන් පී 20 කට ඇමතිකම් දෙන එක කජ්ජක් නොවේ. පුලුවන්නම් මෙය ඉතාම පහසු ක්‍රමයයි.
ඊට පසු මහින් ද අගමැති කරවා රට බේරා දෙන ලෙස දනින් වැටී ඉල්ලා සිටිමු. එතකොට ඔක්කොම හරියයි.

ඉහත සඳහන් අපහාසකාරී කොමෙන්ට් එකෙන් මා කියා සිටින්නේ, අපි කලයුත්තේ යූ ඇන් පී ආණ්ඩුව බිඳ දැමීම පමණක් නොවන බවය. සිංහලයා බේරාගැනීමට මේවර ඉන් එහා යා යුතුය.
පවිත්‍රාලාගෙ අපවිත්‍ර හේත්තුවීම් කෙසේ වෙතත් සිංහලයාට සහතිකයක් අවශ්‍යයි. ඒ සහතිකය නැතිව මොන දෙවියා ආවත් වැඩක් නැත.

To add to Dham’s comment, two recent statements from supporters of the Joint Opposition distress me. These statements expose the Joint Opposition Group’s true intentions. Is the Joint Opposition Group about Mahinda or the people?
One said, if corruption charges against Mahinda and Basil can be proven, the Joint Opposition Group will be dissolved! It assumes the entire Joint Opposition Group movement is to bring Mahinda back to power only, not to provide vital leadership begged by the people. This attitude can be summarised as this – “If Mahinda cannot become next prime minister (due to proving corruption charges), Joint Opposition Group will be dissolved”. What about the people that follow it?
A similar statement was made by a very able female MP from Ratnapura. She must be commended for her work in winning the UPFA at both elections in 2015. However, her recent statement that 20 UNPers are waiting to join the Joint Opposition and with their help a Mahinda-led government can be formed is a slap on the face of the people. If true, these 20 UNPers must be given all important ministries (they missed from the present government) to cross the floor. Then it will be yet another anti-people government. Are they trying to bring Mahinda back to power at all cost by teaming up with any dirt or are they keen to dismantle anti-people UNP policies as demanded by the people?
This may also explain the roller-coaster ride people go through about the joint opposition. There is nothing definitive. When Sirisena offered Mahinda the campaign lead position with the promise of the prime minister post, he dumped the Nugegoda Movement and joined the UPFA. Sirisena obtained all he could and dumped Mahinda. All those who toiled in the Nugegoda Movement ended up propping up the UNP-SLFP national government. Had Mahinda and his supporters contested the election by a separate party, they would have produced the Opposition Leader and forced the SLFP to rethink its existence.
This further contrasts the difference between Gotabhaya and Mahinda. Gotabhaya rejected Sirisena’s offer of a national list MP post last week and in 2015 June he rejected the Prime Minister post offered by Sirisena (following the August election) if he joined his team. By standing his ground, Gotabhaya stood by the people unlike Mahinda who fell for Sirisena’s offer.
I must add it is not Mahinda’s fault. Sirisena is exploiting Mahinda’s weakness as a politician – his fatherly love for his dear children and the love and care he cherishes for his wife. However, starving and suffering people don’t give a damn. They want a government that stands by them and stands against Sirisena. Time and again Sirisena has proven he cannot be trusted.
At times family loyalty is a burden for leaders. DS Senanayake went against his family to stand by the people. He is the only Asian to reject knighthood. SWRD Bandaranaike went against his father’s family and even own family to stand by the common man. Chandrika disregarded the safety of her two school going children when she took on the UNP terrorist regime that killed scores including her father and husband. These leaders had their shortcomings (especially the last one). However, they prioritised people over family at a crucial time. I don’t expect Mahinda to make that choice. Unlike Sirisena and Chandrika, Mahinda never left the SLFP and never will.
Under these shabby conditions, Wimal and Udaya – the powerhouses behind the Nugegoda and Hyde Park movements – must leave the Joint Opposition Group and form their own party. Gotabhaya must be invited to join this party as its leader. Abrogation of 13A, outright abolition of ETCA (if signed), a complete rejection of LLRC and war crimes reports and people-centric development should be the party policies. All three agree on these. There is no need to dirty the movement with people like Vasudeva who are neither here nor there. Anyone who joins it must toe their line of thinking.
