Yahapalanaya the Greatest Hoax played on the people of Sri Lanka.

One does not know where Sri Lanka is or which way it is going. Since 1968 we had as national leaders, D.S.Senananayake, S.W.R.D.Bandaranaike, Sirimavo Bandaranayaike J.R.Jayawardhana, R.Premadasa, Chandrika Kumaratunga and Mahinda Rajapakse. What ever defects some of them had they proved to be national leaders of distinction.
S.W.R.D.Bandaranayake, Sirmavo Bandaranaike were exceptionally great leaders and the last Mahinda Rajapakse greatest of all comparatively amoung the ancient Kings like King Dutugamunu. Mahinda Rajapakse was the great leader of the Nation who eliminated terrorism, brought peace to Sri Lanka and united it under one flag.
The Maithripala Sirisena is the worst we ever had as a President and the most disastrous at that, who cannot even be called a National Leader.
There are some who will disagree specially the sympathisers of the UNP, the political party which failed from the inception to take Sri Lanka along the correct path to progress, give the culture of Sri Lanka its rightful place, assure communal unity and recognise the universal value of Buddhism. Today with Maithripala Sirisena at the helm UNP has begun its ruinous activities against the Sovereign state of Sri Lanka.
Maithripala Sirisena the President by accident has no ambition of his own for the the development of Sri Lanka . Maithripala Sirisena is only helping UNP to allow Ranil Wickramasinghe another political leader of doubtful patriotism to launch his old political plans for Sri Lanka which he prepared in 2002 to make Sri lanka a sub-state of America.
Ranil Wickramasinghe with Chandrika as the Agents of the West are under obligation to the West to revive LTTE to fulfil its terrorists creators ambition of a separate State in the North and East, which the former President Mahinda Rajapakse so painfully prevented with the sacrifice of thousands of Sinhala Buddhist Youth.
That great victory over terrorism and the Western plan to break up Sri Lanka by the former President Mahinda Rajapakse , have now been converted to a victory for the LTTE rump the TNA and the Tamil Diaspora to make the dream of the terrorist Prabhakaran a reality by setting up a Tamil Eelam in the North and East for which the Tamil racist Wigneswaran is going all out. No wise government would have at the present chaotic state dreamt of writing a new Constitution to Sri Lanka. But Yahaplanaya has undertaken it to fool the people and satisfy the West.
Maithripala Sirisena incapable of taking any decision, depending on Ranil Wickramasinghe and a SLFP on the verge of collapse, has taken to trumpet blowing due to his mental emptiness of an intelligent progressive plan for Sri Lanka. He is gone completely paranoic and stands neither with the UNP or the collapsing SLFP and still barks about vengeance against the former President Mahinda Rajapakse.
Maithripala Sirisena like Kumba Karna is in a long sleep and in that sleep he dreams, unaware of what is going on in Sri Lanka.
When Sirisena finally wakes up from his long sleep, Ranil and his UNP goons with the help of the SLFP self minding bath gottas” would have signed the ECTA with India , the Hanuman Bridge would have been built with a railway line from Talaimannar to Tricomalee connecting Dhanuskodi in India to Trincomalee in Sri Lanka, a new Sri Lanka Constitution supporting Federalism would have been passed, and the North and East of Sri Lanka merged in to a Federal State.
Maithripla Sirisena will wakeup to a Sri Lanka which may be the 37th State of India. Sirisena without enough intelligence to understand political manoeuvrings of India with the help of Ranil Wickramasinge and his UNP gang still unaware of what has taken place will want Rajapakses hunted. What a President the people of Sri Lanka elected for a change.
Maithripala Sirisena has really changed Sri Lanka to a subordinate State of India ? It is all happening without his knowledge. He wakes up from time to time and says that he does not know the decisions taken by the government. What does he do at the Cabinet Meetings ? Is he day dreaming about how to make Mahinda Rajapakse unpopular ?
He recently said that he left the previous government because the President Mahinda Rajapakse had opposed his suggestion to sack a suspected killer from the SLFP. This Kumbha Karna dreams all the time and is unaware of the reality of Ranil Wickramasinghe and his UNP coteries selling Sri Lanka to the West.
Sirisena’s real reason to leave the previous government was his greed for power, to become the President of Sri Lanka if possible, which he would never been under normal circumstances. He denies that he did not leave President Mahinda Rajapakse’s government because he was denied the office of Prime Minister.
He brags and blows his own trumpet to show that he is capable of taking decisions on his own without having to depend on Ranil Wickramasoingke, Chandrika and Champika. Mangala who is running to USA to meet John Kerry for instructions does not seem to much care consulting Maithripala Sirisena about important matters. That is how he sponsored the American resolution against Sri Lanka itself at the Geneva Human Rights Council.
Maithripala Sirisena brags that he created a government together with the UNP to defeat the system which was not suitable to the country. His lopsided political philosophy is laughable. He does not even realise the foolishness of his statement which he makes at the 60th anniversary of the peoples’ victory of 1956.
SWRD Bandaranaike who was the father” of SLFP left UNP in 1951 because he found the existing system unsuitable to Sri Lanka and what Maithripala Sirisena does not seem to understand is that he did the exact opposite of what SWRD did taking SLFP back to UNP.
One of the mistakes of the former President of the SLFP Mahinda Rajapakse was to give the Presidency of SLFP to Sirisena, who has no idea of different political systems. Mahinda Rajapakse may of course have had his reasons for that.
Maithripala Sirisena says, Though some people are accusing me stating that I created a government together with the UNP by defeating the SLFP, what I did was to defeat the system which is not suitable to the country by bring in a new system ”
This man Maithripla Sirisena in reality created nothing. Even he was created” President by Chandrika,Ranil , and Madoluwawe Sobhitha thero.
Maithripala Sirisena created only chaos in Sri Lanka, by electing Sampanthan as the Opposition Leader, removing the military camps in the North, distributing land that had been occupied by the Army to the Tamils, taking vengeance from Mahinda Rajapakse and his family.
Maithripala Sirisena has done absolutely nothing for the Country or our Buddhist Culture ever since his election as the President of Sri Lanka, other than executing his sinister plans to keep Mahinda Rajapakse out of politics.
Sirisena makes another false statement at the same 60th Anniversary of the people’s victory of 1956. He says that; It was the former President Mahinda Rajapaksa who came to agreements with the UNP, much before I established a unity government together with the UNP”. Then he goes on to say, ….. when the agreement between the former president and the UNP was not successful, Mr. Mahinda Rajapaksa built a government by taking 27 UNP leaders to the government, giving them ministries ”.
This is a lie , with the aim to discredit the President Mahinda Rajapakse. The 27 members of the UNP led by Karu Jayasuriya during the height of the military operations against the terrorists, joined the President Mahinda Rajapakse to support him in his war effort. The UNP leaders at the time along with Ranil Wickramasinghe himself, Laksman Kiriella, Ravi Karunanayake etc., were ridiculing the Sri Lanka Army Commander and the Armed Forces taking for granted that the Armed Forces were fighting an unwinnable battle against the invincible” terrorists.
President Mahinda Rajapakse never spoke critically of the UNP or its leader. He was in fact in very good terms with Ranil Wickramasinghe. That speaks a lot about President Mahinda Rajapakse’s tolerance of even his opponents, and his ability to have cordial relations with them. That is what separates Mahinda Rajapakse from the likes of Ranil, Chandrika and Maithripala Sirisena. They cannot hold a candle to Mahinda Rajapakse.
Maithripala Sirisena talks , and that is all he had been doing since 9th January,2015, while Ranil, Chandrika and Mangala Samaraweera have together taken Sri Lanka as a pawn on to the Western political checker board.
Sirisena shamelessly says, that As the politicians belong to the 1956 era, we give the prominence to the country and the people. I will be committed to protect the SLFP by strengthening it according to the philosophy of Sir S. W. R. D. Bandaranaike”.
But in reality Sirisena has thrown the political philosophy of S.W.R.D Bandaranaike into a political cesspit becoming a party to the new political plan designed by Ranil Wickramasinghe, Chandrika and John Kerry.
They say that a man could be measured from the friends he has. So is a country. Sri Lanka the independent sovereign State that it was has become today a failed state desperately attached to USA, India, and the European Union for its existence. Having failed to get a dime from the West it was depending on for the development of Sri Lanka without China, has now turned to China.
China which the Yahapalanaya condemned for its alignment with Sri Lanka under President Mahinda Rajapakse, and spoke slanderously of China breeding Chinese children in Sri Lanka is now being invited to come to its help. Ranil Wickramasinghe and the UNP Ministers now sing hosannas for China.
Maithripala Sirisena with those who created of him” a President, is today putting the blame on the former President Mahinda Rajapakse for all mistakes they made since 9 January,2015. A country which was peacefully and progressively marching as an independent Sovereign State towards development, has been turned into a failed State by the Yahapalanaya Government led by President Maithripala Sirisena. The Yahapalanaya houx has been accomplished, but it assures its existence on the extent to which they could continue to blame the former President Mahinda Rajapakse.
Paradoxically, the former President Mahinda Rajapakse has become the saviour of these Yahaplanaya fraudsters.

Tow people got left out. W. Dahanayake who did a lot by giving free buns to poor school children. This Dingiri Banda who became President by default after PRAMADASE was blown up to pieces, which he deserve.

Charles, you have taken lot of trouble to describe Sirisena’s actions and utterances. To me, he is not worth the space we allocate to him in this publication. When he was asked about appointing Ranil soon after Presidential swearing in, Sirisena said “Ranil is whom the foreigners want” ie foreigners used Sirisena to rob the country.
Sirisena’s actions are not his, not that of a leader voted in by the electorate. He is a puppet true to the meaning of the word. Whenever Sirisena disagree with Ranil it is role playing to hoodwink the voters (specially the Sinhalese Buddhists ).
CIA toppled lot of steady, good economies using puppets just like this. Once Sirisena is passed his use by date he will be bumped off (same fate as Sobitha ). Most of the people caught up in the CIA (funded by big American Corporations ) are made to understand that they are doing a great service by their countries. When the fools believe this, the web catch them for other wises such as bribery, both money, sex and whatever else. By the time the foolish local heroes realise this they are at the point of no return.
To me Sirisena, Ranil, Chandrika, Mangala, Rajitha, Pacha, Deal Kumara, Fonseka all are spent forces, used coins. They cannot even think for themselves, leave alone working for our beautiful country.

“Yahapalanaya” (good governance) is a noble system we badly need today,, so I am against abusing this noble word. Some people purposely abuse this word because they intend to do “bad governance” when they come to power. They want to make sure people never vote for a “good government”. They want to train people tolerate day light robbery, abuse of national treasures, stealing money, using poor people’s money for them to enjoy super luxury life. These people also try to change Buddhism, try to equate Buddhism to Dhamma of Jesus or Mohamed. Names are not important. Action is important.
Topic is “Yahapalanaya hoax ” but whole writing is about one man, one name “Sirisena”.
To me Sirisena is the only head of government who uttered most number of lies publically and that is enough.
Not only him, but all liars should read the following

මුසාවාදය අකුසල කර්මයක් වීමට කරුණු තුනක් සම්පූර්ණ විය යුතුය. එනම් බොරු කියමියි යන සිතක් විය යුතුය. එම සිතට අනුව බොරුව කිය යුතුය. එසේම අසනු ලබන්නා එය සත්යයක් ලෙස පිළිගත යුතුය. මේ කාරණා තුනම සම්පූර්ණ නොවුණහොත් මුසාවාද අකුසල කර්මය සිදුනොවේ. තවත් සමහර බෞද්ධ පුස්තකයන්හි මුසාවාද අකුසල කර්මය සිදුවීමට කරුණු සතරක් සම්පූර්ණ වියයුතු බව සඳහන් වේ. එනම් බොරු කියමියි යන සිත බොරුවක් වීම, එම බොරුව කියා පෑමට උත්සාහ ගැනීම හා එය අනුන්ට අවබෝධ වීමය. මේ අනුව පවසන දෙය බොරුවක් වුවද එය අන්යයන්ට තේරුම් නොයන භාෂාවකින් කිවහොත් අන්යයන් බොරුවක් බව තේරුම් නොගත හොත් එයින් මුසාවාද අකුසලය සිදු නොවේ. වැරැදීමකින් හෝ නොදැන කියන බොරුවකින්ද මුසාවාද අකුසලය සිදුනොවේ. යම්කිසි පොරොන්දුවක් දී යම් හෙයකින් සාධාරණ හේතුවක් මත එය ඉටු නොකිරීමෙන්ද මුසාවාද අකුසල කර්මය සිදුනොවේ. එහෙත් එම පොරොන්දුව කවදා හෝ ඉටු නොකරමියි යන ෙච්තනාවෙන්ම ප්රකාශ කළේනම් මුසාවාද අකුසල කර්මය සිදුවේ. එහෙත් ඉටු කිරීමට බැරි පෙරොන්දු දීමෙන් මුසාවාද අකුසල කර්මය සිදුවේ. අනුන් ලවා බොරු කියවීමෙන් කියන පුද්ගලයාට මෙන්ම කියවන පුද්ගලයාටද අකුසල කර්මය සිදුවේ.
මුසාවාදයේ විරුද්ධාර්ථය සත්යය හෙවත් ඇත්ත කතා කිරීමය. එසේම සත්යය පැරණි ධර්මයක් බවද පහත සඳහන් ගාථාවෙන් බුදුරජාණන් වහන්සේ දේශනා කරන ලදී.
සච්චං චෙ අමතා වාචා එස ධම්මො සනත්තනො
එසේම එකම්හි සච්චං න දුතියමත්ථි යනුවෙන් සත්යය එකක්මය සත්යය දෙකක් නැතැයි බුදුරජාණන් වහන්සේ දේශනාකර ඇත.
එතං ධම්මං අතීතස්ස මුසාවාදිස්ස ජන්තුනො විතිණ්ණ පරලෝකස්ස නත්ථිපාපං අකාරියං
යනුවෙන් බුදුරජාණන් වහන්සේ ඇත්ත කීම නම් වූ පුරාණ ධර්මය කඩකර බොරු කියන පුද්ගලයාට නොකළ හැකි පාප කර්මයක් නැතැයි වදාරා ඇත. මුසාවාදයේ බරපතළකම බුදුරජාණන් වහන්සේ වදාළ මෙම ගාථාවෙන්ම පැහැදිලිවේ.
මුසාවාදයෙහි විපාක
මුසාවාදය බහුල වශයෙන් කළ තැනැත්තා අට මහා නිරයටත් තිරිසන් අපා දුකටත් ප්රේත ලෝකයටත් පැමිණේ. මිනිස් ලොව ඉපදුණහොත් අභූත දෝෂාරෝපණයන්ට හා නින්දාවන්ට ලක්වේ අන්යයන්ගේ අවිශ්වාශ්යට ලක්වේ. නොකළ වරදවන්ට අසුවී දඬුවම් ලබති. අතිශයින් දුර්ගන්ධ මුඛ ඇතිවන්නේද මුසාවාදයේ අකුසලයක් වශයෙනි. එසේම දිළිඳු වන්නේය. මෝඩ පුද්ගලයෙක් වන්නේය. ගොළු බවට හා ගොත බවට පැමිණීමද තවත් විපාකයන්ය. එසේම කාන්තාවක් වී ඉපදුණහොත් දරුවන් නැතිවීමටත් හේතු විය හැකි බවද ධර්ම ප්රදීපිකාවේ දැක්වේ.
මුසාවාදයෙන් වෙන් වීමේ අනුසස්
විපස්සනා ඉන්ද්රීයථා – ඉතාමත් පැහැදිලි හා ලස්සන ඇස් කන් නාසා ආදී ඉන්ද්රීයයන් ලැබේ. විස්සට්ඨමදුරභාණිතා – මදුර කටහඬක් ලැබීමටද හේතු වාසනා වේ. සමසිතසුද්ධදන්තිනා – ලස්සන සමවූ දත් දෙපලක් ඇතිවේ. නාතිථුලථා – ඉතා මහත්වූ ශරීර ඇති නොවේ. නාතිකිස්සතා – ඉතා කෘෂවූ ශරීර ඇති නොවේ. නාතිරස්සා – අඟුටු මිට්ටන් නොවේ. සුඛසම්ඵස්සථා – අතිශයින් මෘදු ශරීර ඇති වේ. සුස්සුකපරිජනතා – කීකරු පරිවාර ජනයන් ලැබීමටද හේතුවේ. අනුද්ධතතා – උඩඟු නොවේ. අචපලතා – චපල නොවේ.
බෝසතාණන් වහන්සේට දෙතිස් මහා පුරුෂ ලක්ෂණයන් වූ එක් එක් රෝමකූපයන්හි ඇති එක් එක් රෝමයන් ඇතිවූයේද දෙබැම මැද බබළන ඌර්ණ රෝම ධාතුව ඇති වූයේද කිසිම භවයකදී මුසාවාද අකුසලය නොකළ නිසා එහි විපාක වශයෙන් බවද සඳහන් වේ. එසේම උන්වහන්සේට චතුරාර්ය සත්යය අවබෝධ කිරීමට ප්රධාන හේතුව කිසිදා බොරු නොකීමේ කුසල කර්මය බවත් ධර්මයෙහි සඳහන් වේ.
අභිධර්මය
අභිධර්මයට අනුව මුසාවාදය ත්රි මූල සිත්වලින්ම කෙරෙන අකුසලයකි. අකුසල් කෙරෙන මූල තුනක් තිබේ. ඒ ලෝබය, ද්වේශය සහ මෝහයයි. ලෝබය යනු ආශාව, රාගය යම් යම් දෙයට ඇති ගිජුකම ප්රේමය, ඇළුම් කිරීම ආදී දේ ලෙස සැලකිය හැකිය. ලෝබ මූල සිත් අටක් තිබේ. මෙම සිත් අටෙන් ඇතිවිය හැකි දස අකුසල්වලින් ලෝබය නිසා ඇතිවන අකුසල් හතක් වේ. මුසාවාදය ඉන් එකකි. ඉතිරි සය වන්නේ අදත්තාදානය, කාමමිච්චාරය, පිශුනවචනය, සම්ප්රලාප අභිධ්යාව හා මිත්යාදෘෂ්ටියයි. මුසාවාදය ද්වේශය මුල්කරගෙන සිදුවන්නේ ආඝාත වස්තූන් කරණ කොට ගෙන අනුන් කෙරෙහි කිපී නසම් යන සිතින් කිමය. මෝහය මුල්වී සිදුවන්නේ මෝඩකම, නූගත්කම හා වැරදි දෘෂ්ටීන් නිසා බොරු කීමය.
මුසාවාදය සිත කිළිටි කරන ධර්මයක් බව බුදුරජාණන් වහන්සේ වදාරා ඇත. අපගේ සන්තානයේ ඇතිවිය හැකි කෙලෙස් 1500 ක් පමණ ඇති බව අපවත්වී වදාළ මහාචාර්ය රේරුකානේ චන්දවිමල මහා නාහිමිපාණන් සඳහන් කර ඇත. මුසාවාදයද ඉන් එකකි. කෙලෙස් යනුවෙන් හඳුන්වන්නේ සිත කිළිටි කරන, සිත් නරක කරන අකුසල පාක්ෂික ධර්මතාවයන්ය. ඒ අනුව බොරුව නැතහොත් අපේ සිත් නරක් කරන කිළිටි කරන අකුසලයක්ය. මේ කෙලෙස් අපගේ සිත් තුළ සැඟවී අනුශය වශයෙන් තැන්පත්ව ඇත්තේය. මුසාවාද ක්ලේශයද අනුශය වශයෙන් සැඟවී තිබී බොරුකීමේ අරමුණක් ඇතිවූ විගසම වහා මතුව ක්රියාකාරී වන්නේය. අප බොරුකියන්න පෙලඹෙන්නේ ඒ අනුවය. එම නිසා අප නිරතුරුවම මෙම ක්ලේශයද නැතිකරලීම සඳහා උත්සාහ ගත යුතුය. ආර්යය මාර්ගයට පත්වූ පුද්ගලයින් බොරු නොකියන්නේ මුසාවාද ක්ලේශය ප්රහානය කර ඇති නිසාය.

How it happened? Another Indian job. The former President called an early election. The Indian imperialists (Indian Union) were ready to correct its mistake in 2005 when it backed Mahinda Rajapaksa over Ranil Wickramasinge. Then, Indian imperialists advised Indian block vote in the island to abstain from voting. The reason for the preference was Indian imperialists thought it will be easier to negotiate with Mahinda an unknown matter for India. When profiling Mahinda they did not take in to account his brothers, in particular Gotabaya who was in the US at that time. Unfortunately for India, Mahinda did not follow Indian directions as former Sri Lankan leaders did since 1956. In 2010 India enrolled General Sarath Fonseka as a presidential candidate against Mahinda and failed. So behind the scene as Indian imperialist always do they were planning for years and had got former governor Chandrika Bandaranayake-Kumaranatunge to do the job and succeeded with doing a repeat of what India did with her father Solomon West Ridgeway Dias Bandaranayake in 1951. India did not have to wait for four year this time. India managed to divide the non-Indian vote and got the Indian block vote for Maithripala Sirisena the new governor of Sri Lanka who may be the proxy for the real governor Chandrika.

Apr 23, Jaffna: Sri Lanka’s main Tamil party Tamil National Alliance (TNA) – controlled Northern Provincial Council (NPC) has passed a bill on Friday calling for Sri Lanka’s new constitution to allow merging the North and East into one federal, Tamil speaking unit.
Chief Minister C.V. Wigneswaran presented the resolution to the NPC on Friday and it was passed by a majority vote.
The resolution seeking a federal solution to the issue of political independence for the minority Tamil community calls for the government to include in the new constitution a merger of the Northern and Eastern provinces into one ruling system and establishing it under a federal system.
Merging the North and East has been a long-pending demand of the TNA and party has formulated the bill based on the views and suggestions of the people in all districts of the Northern Province.

I am a practicing Buddhist from birth and practicing TRUTHFULNESS from very young.
What I was trying to tell was ” the liar who violate just one ancient discipline ( of truthfulness), not knowing other world, is able to do ANY evil.”.
Sirisena therefore can do ANY evil. So are the other liars around spreading lies all over the place ruining a noble cause of resorting Sinhala Buddhist values.
So, I was thinking it was a good article for all of us to read and value.
I have studied Abhidamma when young, up to the Baudhdhachariya level and now I don’t go into it. Abhidamma was said to be expounded to Mathru Devata in a Tahuthisa heaven.

Sinhala Buddhists must realize that the enemies of our people and our motherland OFTEN exploit the teachings of non-violence and compassion to UNDERMINE, DEMORALIZE, render DEFENCELESS and ENSLAVE us.
While Buddhism teaches an ideal, it can never be attained in an imperfect world filled with aggressors who strive to enslave brainwashed defenceless people unwilling to defend themselves.
Fortunately for us, there is an important duality in our psychological makeup that enables us to value and abide by Buddhism in peacetime and wage ferocious wars when our survival, independence and freedom is threatened.
The DUALITY I refer to is this: The SINHALA man is a ferocious and self-sacrificing noble warrior that emerges to rescue the avowed Buddhist UPASAKAYA who follows in the footsteps of the Lord Buddha in normal circumstances.
The relationship between these two personalities is quintessentially SYMBIOTIC. One cannot survive without the other; and in many people one of the two personalities predominate. The Sinhala person who is suited to governance and the protection of others has more of the Sinhala warrior personality, while those who focus more on their own salvation tend to have more of the Buddhist Upasakaya personality.Nevertheless, all Sinhala Buddhists have both of these personalities, albeit to different degrees. The moderating wisdom og Buddhism protects the Sinhala warrior by preventing him from running amok, while the Sinhala warrior protects the Buddhist Upasakaya from enslavement and death.
This is what we can learn from our long history of resistance to foreign invasion, domination and enslavement. If both of these two personality traits were not present in us, SINHALA BUDDHISTS would have ceased to exist long ago as a unique and talented people inhabiting our hallowed and resplendent land.
I conclude with a few words of caution: Our enemies, both overt and covert, try to eliminate and suppress the SINHALA WARRIOR in us by PREACHING Buddhist scripture to us in chapter and verse. When our ancestral rights in this hallowed land of ours are being violated and usurped, they counsel us to not fight back because we must adhere to the tenets of Buddhism even as genocide is bring parcticed upon us.
UTTER HOGWASH I say; FIGHT BACK with all of your might for yourself, your INNOCENT people and your motherland as did millions of our ancestors in their time to pass on our heritage down to us. King Dutugamunu, Konappu Bandara, Mahinda Rajapaksa, Gotabhaya Rajapaksa are among leaders who refused to swallow the message of supine surrender preached to us by self-serving preachers of Buddhism.
Where were those preachers of Buddhism when Sri Lankans were being mudered by the hundreds of thousands? They had no solutions, but now dare to criticise the heroes who rescued us after emerging from hiding under their beds@
Were they not criticising the war effort comparing Alimankada to Pamankada, lionizing the terrorists, and assigning blame to the armed forces as CBK did? Were they not counseling that the LTTE cannot be defeated and must be placated with a sovreign Eelam state?
Where are the Buddhist priests who supported the Yamapalanaya DISASTER now? That CONGENITAL IDIOT Sobitha Hamuduruwo who helped to dismantle Sri Lanka’s patriotic government admitted his mistake before dying, no doubt a punishment meted out to him by yhe Hatarawaran Devatavas. Where is that eacherous rogue Ratana Hamuduruwo who seems to have gone into hiding after being denied a ministerial portfolio by the UNP?
All of these TRAITORS who sanctimoiously preached yahapalanaya and Buddhist scripture to us are now leading nation headlong to its destruction.

What I cannot understand is how the internationals continue to extol the virtues of the current persona and continue to give him such prominence when it has become so clear to all citizens on both sides of the divide how the Sinhala people have been taken for the biggest ride of their life and let down.

Federal unit in re-merged NE-NPC resolution should be examined like any other proposal – TNA

Tamil National Alliance (TNA) spokesperson M. A. Sumanthiran, MP yesterday told The Island that a resolution seeking the re-merger of the Eastern Province with the Northern Province adopted by the TNA-led Northern Provincial Council (NPC) on Friday (April 22) could be considered by the government as well as all other political parties represented in Parliament.
The TNA comprises the Illankai Thamil Arasu Kadchi, the TELO, PLOTE and EPRLF.
Jaffna District MP and attorney-at-law Sumanthiran emphasised the need to take a look at the NPC’s proposal. It could be considered like any other proposal, Sumanthiran said.
Asked whether the TNA would throw its weight behind the NPC proposal for the re-merger of the Eastern Province with the Northern Province, MP Sumanthiran said that the TNA always stood for the amalgamation of the two provinces.
MP Sumanthiran said that the two provinces had remained merged for 18 years before the Supreme Court in Oct. 2006 found fault with the way it was done.
The two administrative provinces were merged in September 1988 in keeping with the provisions in the July 1987 Indo-Lanka Accord.
Though the merger had to be approved at a referendum in accordance with the accord, that requirement was never fulfilled. The two provinces were formally de-merged on January 1, 2007 on a Supreme Court order.
The Jaffna District MP said the NPC resolution was to be delivered to Opposition Leader R. Sampanthan, Speaker Karu Jayasuriya and Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe.
The TNA spokesperson said that the NPC resolution was meant to be taken up at deliberations leading to the new Constitution.
The NPC resolution called for granting federalism in addition to the re-merger of the two administrative provinces.
In the run-up to Friday’s adopting of the resolution, a special committee held consultations in all districts with various organisations.
Northern Province Chief Minister C.V. Wigneswaran moved the resolution.
Only two Sinhala members of the NPC namely Wannihamige Jayathilaka and Dharmapala Seneviratne of the UPFA opposed the resolution.
All other members of the NPC spoke in favour of the resolution.
Retired Supreme Court judge Wigneswaran was elected the Chief Minister following the first Northern Provincial Council polls conducted on September 21, 2013.
The NPC comprised 38 members with the TNA having 30 seats, the UPFA seven and the SLMC 1.
Northern Province Governor Reginald Cooray has told the media that the issue is whether the NPC’s proposal was in line with the Constitution. Cooray was responding to a query raised by a television station on Saturday. The Governor couldn’t be contacted over the phone yesterday.
A veteran administrator told The Island that the NPC proposal was contrary to the Constitution as well as a Supreme Court ruling given in Oct. 2006 in respect of the merger of the Eastern Province with the Northern Province by President JR Jayewardene.
SLMC leader and City Planning and Water Supply Minister Rauf Hakeem yesterday asserted that a consensus in Parliament was required to advance NPC’s proposal. Minister Hakeem emphasised the need to secure the support of the two major political parties in Parliament to make such a proposal reality. Responding to a query, the SLMC leader said that unilateral statements in respect of a crucial issue could certainly be disadvantageous to those pursuing re-merger of the two provinces.
Minister Hakeem recalled the circumstances under which President JR Jayewardene had merged the two provinces by simply issuing a gazette notification. In spite of having serious reservations, the SLMC contested the first North-Eastern provincial Council polls conducted on Nov 19, 1988, Minister Hakeem said, adding that the party secured 17 seats in the Eastern province. However, the SLMC had distanced itself from the administration soon after then Chief Minister Varatharaja Perumal declared independence, the minister said.

Apr 24, Colombo: Sri Lanka’s opposition parties today said the government must act on a bill passed by the major Tamil party, Tamil National Alliance (TNA) – controlled Northern Provincial Council (NPC) calling for a merger of the North and East into one Tamil speaking federal unit.
Leader of the National Freedom Front, MP Wimal Weerawansa today stressed that the government must act against the bill presented by the Chief Minister C.V. Wigneswaran on Friday and passed by a majority vote.
The resolution seeking a federal solution to the issue of political independence for the minority Tamil community calls for the government to include in the new constitution a merger of the Northern and Eastern provinces into one ruling system and establishing it under a federal system.
Speaking to News Radio, MP Weerawansa said that a similar move was made by the Northern PC when Varadaraja Perumal was the Chief Minister and the then government acted against the move using constitutional powers. However, today’s government leaders are extremely silent when a similar bill was passed by the Council, he noted.
The NFF leader charged that the NPC is using its democratic powers to further the separatist move and called on the government to act using its constitutional powers.
Sri Lanka’s Marxist party, Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna (JVP) also commenting on the NPC bill during a media briefing today said such action by the Provincial Council leads to racism in the Tamil and Sinhala communities in the country.
“Racism will resurface as a result of this action, both Tamil and Sinhala extremist groups will use this resolution to their advantage and ignite racism. It does not encourage reconciliation, but it stands to encourage separatism and disharmony,” JVP parliamentarian Vijitha Herath said.
MP Herath said the merger of Northern and Eastern Provinces should not happen and will never happen.

4. Who promised implementation of LLRC recommendations in one year in 2015 elections ? ( lucky he lost)
5. Who agreed to set up Indian Embassies in Hambantota and Jaffna ?
6. Who agreed to 2000 houses Jassim City of Wahabis clearing prime forest next to Wilpattuwa and let them open it in 2104 November ?
The list goes on. This had to be stopped. Now let him comeback with proper promises to people. Now there is no grave danger but opportunity to force them to promote more Nationalism. So many people to fight and protest and no fear doing it now. If MR did these things UNP would have approved and no one to protest except Maha Sangha.
If you took a vote from Maha Sangha in 2015 , majority would vote against MR. That was where country was heading those days.

Let me paste one of the series of Deshna by Ven. Badulle Suryarathana Thero. Just try this and you will surely want to hear the whole series. Since you are doing meditation it may even shock you. I sternly recommend to listen silently and attentively and try to and see whether you can answer his questions correctly.

The MR govt did whatever had to be done to safeguard the Country and the People, whilst keeping the Economy on an even keel, WITHIN the Law.
For the painful process that the MR govt was forced to take with the ‘war’ with the LTTE, they now stand accused of So called War Crimes.
It was no easy matter to face the ill effects of nearly 500 yrs of Colonisation, Tamil Caste Wars and the resultant ill effects of the Cold War (1946-1991, and appears to be still going on), impinging on Sri Lanka, plus endless bullying by INDIA and some other foreign countries.
The hypocrites who criticise the actions of the MR govt must now come out with solid law abiding ideas how to govern a majority Buddhist country, and also keep the citizens safe, with a sound Economy.
Right now, the Yahap govt has plans to virtually sell of the country with :
* ETCA
* Proposed sea tunnel to Tamil Nadu
* 5,000 acre lots on 99 yr leases to foreigners
* New Constitution (what will that bring, with the UNP led Yahap in charge ?).
The UNP led Yahap govt has already messed up the Fiscal matters of the country via the Central Bank (Arjun Mahendran, Governor of the Central Bank, and ‘Uncle Ranil’).
So far, in one and half years in power, the only good thing done by Yahap for local folk appears to be the banning of Glyphosate.

TNA leaders are ALREADY ACTING as if they are in command of a Sovereign State in the NPC!
We can expect more high handedness in the future as they become even more emboldened by the weakness and pliability of the Yahapalanaya GoSL to push the envelope every day in every way for more and more power!

Sri Lanka police probe Opposition Leader allegedly entering an Army camp

Apr 25, Colombo: Sri Lanka Police in Kilinochchi have launched an investigation into an incident where the Leader of Opposition and major Tamil party, Tamil National Alliance (TNA) R. Sampanthan and several other TNA members have allegedly entered an Army camp in the Kilinochchi- Parawipanjaan area by force, according to a local media report.
Mr. Sampanthan along with MPs S. Sritharan and M. A Sumanthiran are alleged of attempting to enter the Gajaba Regiment in the Parawipanjaan area following a meeting at their party office on the 16th of April, Hiru FM reported.
The Commanding officer of the camp and a few others had filed a complaint regarding the matter to the police.
The army camp under the Gajaba Regiment had reportedly been a financial division of the LTTE during the war.
Expressing views on the incident at a media briefing, MP Udaya Gammanpila said the police should take necessary action to arrest the Opposition Leader and the group for attempting to enter an Army camp by force.

You have NOW EXPOSED YOURSELF as one of those people RESPONSIBLE for the ousting of MR’s patriotic government that REUNIFIED Sri Lanka, PROTECTED ALL of its people, and gave us HOPE of a BRIGHTER ECONOMIC FUTURE for our country. That dream was DEMOLISHED on January 8, 2015!
When you began to praise Lorenzo, and use Buddhism to gradually undermine the patriotic cause in a sly way, ii became clear to me what was going on: a repetition of the old strategy for infiltrating the patriotic fold.

Curiously, there was another blogger at LankaWeb by the name of Nanda, a strong follower of Lorenzo and opponent of MR/UPFA, who did just that using Buddhism to undermine the patriotic cause.

Let me ask you just one question.
Where did I use Buddhism to undermine nationalism ( fighting for the just cause of Sinhala- Buddhists) ? If you can show just ONE instant ( except when I sarcastically quote) I will stop commenting on this web. Prove it NOW . period!

It is utterly wrong for people who left for greener pastures abroad to sing praise to thieves who are robbing the county and have their wealth in other countries, while people like us do just the opposite. All regimes in the third world have their paid and unpaid cheer leaders. People like us will never be bought by a just one dinner and even a shake hand or with all the tea in China.
I know the day to day sufferings of the people back home where a simple example is the hospitals have to be provided with some drugs by the patients and 24 hour care has to be hired privately at a terrible cost. I know several have given up fighting for their lives because as they didn’t want to burden their kin with the unbearable expenses.
Last year during my stay 3 persons very close to me died who couldn’t afford the coffins and the extravagance and essential malabatha.I had to dig deep into my pocket and provide that.4th person to die was a good doctor who was the only one who could afford his expenses.
The most saddest case is a young man with a kidney problem came to see me in a three wheeler,got me down to the vehicle because he was too weak to come to my home and with his sad s eye contact with me thanked me, went home thereafter and died within a hour. I had to pay for his funeral that included the malabatha where over hundred ate and drank(liquor too) though non of them ever cared for him when he was hospitalized so many times. Lack of compassion is not there but much greed and that is exactly very prominent with the top politicians and what right do they have to claim that the island is the Miracle of Asia? It is a miracle to a thieving few and not to the majority who are suffering.

They are greedy for their own happiness and convenience , worry about their own security than that of people of the land. They must silently direct their thoughts and check to confirm this. They are scared of Buddhism on one hand and fighting for protection of it on the other hand. They are unable to give reasons for their action without the names of persons.

I was driven to return here by my growing concern for the safety of Sri Lanka now being threatened again by an array of enemies, internal and external, overt and covert, hellbent on destroying the integrity of our motherland and subjugating its Sinhala Buddhist majority.
I am caught, once again, between the Devil and the Deep Blue Sea like Prince Dutugamunu of old.
