Best assistance to bring the Sri Lanka Administration to a more professional and respected level can be given by the people in Sri Lanka.

President  has the powers to appoint Secretaries to the Ministries .In the future if the President refrain from appointing any Secretary and allow Public Service Commission to take the decision on merit and on an evaluation criteria and also  ministers and MP ‘s are   not allowed in interfere ,I am positive that civil servants in Sri Lanka can do an honourable job and you do not need any special training .

If we take action as above we do not need to seek assistance from Singapore to train the civil servants.

Finally FCID and CIABOC should not unilaterally decide to call and any civil servant to testify until   they present the facts to the Public Service Commission seeking their consent to call any civil servant to testify or submit answers related to purported corruption charges .

Today biggest problem is not civil servants but the politicians, hence we should train them to perform their duties diligently without interfering in the work of civil servants
