   My Dear Hon. Basil Rajapakshe,

   You are an excellent organizer. Please remain behind the scenes organizing the party. Don’t come to the frontline. People don’t have a good opinion about you. They may be wrong but in politics and MARKETING what matters is what the voter or customer thinks. CUSTOMER IS KING RIGHT OR WRONG.

   MR lost NOT because of ANY CORRUPTION allegation against him. There were NO CORRUPTION allegation against MR during the election campaign! That is a FANTASTIC achievement for ANY SL leader. Only JR, MR and DBW remained CLEAN out of ALL SL leaders since 1970. We have to MARKET that.

   Sadly many corruption allegations are there against people that SURROUNDED MR. That is the problem. MR paid the price for their corruption.

   Please keep other unpopular characters OUT of the new party so that the LOTUS SYMBOL is meaningful. Otherwise people will simply reject it.

   As you know THOUSANDS of people worked hard to send a man to the MOON in 1968. But IF all of them tried to get on the rocket to go to the moon, NO ONE would have made it. Ultimately out of thousands only 2 landed on the moon first.

   This is kind and friendly advice so that this USELESS GOVT. can be sent home. It is NOT EASY to send them home. ALL TAMILS AND MUSLIMS support it. ENDIA, Singapore, Japan and USA support it. MOST BIG businessmen support it.
