PURAVASI BALAYA CONTROLLED BY A HANDFULL OF OPPORTUNISTS HAS TURNED OUT TO BECOME A POLITICAL THUG.

Can the Puravasi Balaya publish the names of the Civil Society Groups/organizations and individuals that originally formed this movement under the leader of the late Thera Maduluwawe Sobitha Thero, who was The chief incumbent of the Kotte Naga.
In recent times it is witnessed that almost 90 % of the Civil Society Groups and persons who were with the late Thera and who joined the stage at Hyde Park on Tuesday the 2nd., December 2014 have abandoned the present Puravasi Balaya Leadership because a hand full of certain individuals like Co-Convener Saman Rathnapriya, Prof. Sarath Wijeysuriya, Ravaya editor K.W. Janaranjana, Gamini Viyangoda are undemocratically steering this movement for their personal political agenda and holding to ransom the “Yahapalana government under the pretext of safeguarding the rights of the people/voters, while they indirectly benefited from the President and the PM and are lobbying for “anti-people” activities blackmailing the government appearing as the saviours of TRUE DEMOCRACY.
It is the duty of the peace loving people of this country and the patriots who love their “Maathruboomiya” be vigilant of this situation and defend the country and the nation from the political disaster a hand full of so-called “Civil Society” elements who are up to political mischief for their personal glory and gains at the cost of the sacrifice made by our Security Forces personnel and our Ranaviru.
The Puravasi Balaya cannot be allowed to run this country and dictate terms and conditions to the Executive President and the Prime Minister or the Cabinet of Ministers or Parliament, for that purpose. It is NOT the VOICE of the people, but just a hand full of individuals and a small ad-hoc group of some civil society organizations for that matter.

The Puravasi Balaya has become a Pura Vesi balaya. They can see and talk about allegedly crimes of the Rajapaksas only. They do not talk about Arujuna Mahendern’s bank robbery, Ravi’s 300 million stash, Patil’s past, the coal deals, “Dham the thug’s’ night club brawls and their cover ups etc.

Sobithaya was used by the Indian Empire and Indian colonial parasites. He was ended by the same.

This group are manipulated by foreign hands or the local agencies of foreign NGOs like Pakiyasothi Saravanamuttu etc.
I knew Gamini Uyangoda he was a good friend but I never knew where his political interests were. He pretended to be a leftist without any attachment to a political party. Now he has become a supported of the rightist politics,though I do not think he supports UNP; But he is clever to keep every one guessing which way are hisl political leanings.
These people cannot lead the people in the correct path to development and progress of Sri Lanka. They can criticise Mahinda Rajapaksa and his “regime” however much possible, but they will never find people like those of Mahhinda Rajapakse again to develop Sri Lanka as they did. Call Rajapakses what ever they like-thieves, criminals,self interested political adventurists-whatever, but they are the ones we want no if we are to develop Sri Lanka and take it forward to build a truly happy nation.

What these groups are doing is to help UNP sell Sri Lanka to West, and make Sri Lanka a poor Banana State in he Indian Ocean, perhaps dependent on South India and Jayalalitha.

Agree 100% with Charles’s comment above with respect to the quality and accomplishments of the previous government, which some stupid brainwashed Sinhala Buddhists suffering from eatly stage Alzheimers helped to oust from power.
Now, all those who swallowed the Yahapalana foolishness orchestrated by the regime change artistes of the West in collusion with Sri Lankan traitors, have only themselves to blame for the current national disaster.
Come home to Papa to the Patriotic Fold my dear Sri Lankans and help to restore a truly nationalist Patriotic Government to defend, protect, and foster our beloved Motherland!
