Grand strategy to disintegrate Sri Lanka

From invasions to colonial rule the gameplan was to divide & rule. Success of that can be seen in the manner immigrants now claiming minority rights to divide the country. Tamils & Minority rights have become a convenient battering ram for a lot of players including Tamils themselves. A genuine grievance for a Tamil Homeland nowhere else but Tamil Nadu is incorrectly being shoved down Sri Lanka by parties who lobby for same to camouflage their own agendas. These agendas have successfully made inroads with incremental advances as a result of foolhardy decisions by power hungry Sinhala traitors. Let us connect these dots to visualise the likely outcomes and the future of a nation that has a proud 2600 written history.
It is not Sri Lanka’s fault that 76million Tamils are without a state to call their own. Stateless nation is a political term for ethnic/national minority that does not possess its own state. Tamil Nadu state has 72million Tamils but in a country with 1.3billion people, Tamils are a minority with no nation. Tamils have been desiring a state/nation for the world 76million Tamils since the early 1900s kicking off the initial demands in India’s Tamil Nadu.
Tamil nationalism was connected to Dravida nationalism when the self-determination proponents attempted to coopt the other South Indian states of Karnataka, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh to forming a Dravida Nadu – which later decided not to separate.
World Tamils seek own homeland : First we need to understand that the Tamils living in South Africa, Malaysia, Fiji, throughout the Caribbean, Sri Lanka and other parts of the world ALL originated/descended from India’s Southern State of Tamil Nadu. That is why Tamil Nadu has 72million of the world 76million populace. Tamil Nadu is where Tamil language, Tamil culture, Tamil traditions all originated and dispersed to other parts of the world when Tamils were taken as indentured labor and when they migrated with time. Tamil people, Tamil language, Tamil culture etc never originated in Sri Lanka to claim homeland. It is crucial to understand and gather the facts that clearly point out that the Homeland of Tamils is nowhere else but Tamil Nadu. There cannot be 2 homelands for the same ethnic group using the same arguments to claim self-determination. Same ethnic group cannot be born in two places!
Initial calls for a separate Tamil Homeland began in Tamil Nadu yet the British Cripps Mission in 1942 refused to grant a separate Tamil State. The Indians crushed the We Tamil Movement and legislation made sure no one claimed separatism.
Incidentally it was in 1956 that the State Reorganization Act along linguistic lines was introduced to India and questions whether SWRD was fooled into adopting the same through the Language Act with Sinhala Only in response to the calls for reversal of discrimination for the Sinhalese. Let it be reiterated that the demands were to reverse the injustices to the Sinhala Buddhists and not to marginalize anyone.
Noteworthy is the manner that Tamil leaders did not object to Colonial office in Britain against the Language Act of 1956 but did so when in 1957 the Social Disabilities Act was introduced giving low caste Tamils the right to education and school. Tamils went to the extent of objecting by writing to the British.
No one has explained still how a supposed to be grievance against language turned into a pact signed between Bandaranaike & Chelvanayagam agreeing to devolution? Why should a language grievance end up with a federal pact? Was this the work of Indian imperialists too? The same can be probed on the decision to take over buses and lands thus further denying the Sinhalese Buddhists the power they had.
It was India’s decision to destabalize Sri Lanka and pass over Eelam struggle that led to Tamil youth being secretly trained in India to demand an eelam homeland in Sri Lanka, passing off India’s headache to us.
Sri Lanka used as testing ground
All 3 colonial rulers referred to Tamils as Malabar Tamils descending from India and it was only in 1911 that the nomenclature Ceylon Tamils came to be used.
Tamils were the first to create an ethnic named political party – All Ceylon Tamil Congress in 1944 by GG Ponnambalam before independence showcasing British divide and rule policy creating dissent between minorities & the majority.
What is also noteworthy was the formation of 2 parties both in Sri Lanka & India in the same year – 1949 calling for a separate Tamil state. DMK Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam in Tamil Nadu & Illankai Tamil Arasu Katchchi in Sri Lanka (hiding its true objectives behind the name Federal Party) sought a Tamil Nation. DMK had to drop separatist demand in 1963 though TULF continued via the Vaddokoddai Resolution of 1976. Noteworthy are the timelines – India training Tamil militants in 1970s, Prabakaran forming Tamil New Tigers and the very year of the Vaddukoddai Resolution Prabakaran renaming TNT as LTTE,
Completely ignored is the fact that the Eelam demands are coming from non-Tamil leaders in Tamil Nadu – Jayalalitha, Karunanidhi, MGR Ramachandran, Vijayakanth, Vaiko, Rajnikanth are all not Tamils. Even E V Ramaswamy Naicker the founder of the Dravida Movement was not Tamil. So what is this eelam all about? Even the present day LTTE Diaspora are all holding foreign passports having forfeited their Sri Lankan citizenship?
In keeping the Tamil independence movement in limbo, India has managed to become the king maker in deciding whether eelam is to be given or not. The scenario reminds of Khalistan quest of the Sikhs. In so doing India has been able to make ample inroads claiming sheepishly claiming to project itself as championing the cause of the Tamils. Let us also remind readers that Tamil Nadu self-determination began against Hindi-ruled India and there is no love lost between North & South India both equally hating each other.
Indianization of Sri Lanka
- Plans to create a bridge/rail/road link directly with India
- ETCA agreement allowing Indians to settle, work in Sri Lanka
- Indian mythology being incorporated using tourism bogey
- Sri Lankan Buddhist temples falling victim to Hindu gods inside temples
- Norochcholai power plant sabotages linked to India wanting to supply and taken over Sri Lanka’s energy security
- Cultural takeover through Hindi movies/Hindi culture
- India’s attempt to take control of Trinco harbour/tank farms and using business ventures to surround Trinco with Indian interests
- The Indo-Lanka Accord of 1987 and the 13th amendment plagiarized history to create a false historical notion of North and East being historical homeland of Tamil speaking people so the argument would suffice to merge North and East as Trinco is in the East. The calls by Indian agent local Tamil leaders and others for the re-merger even through the new constitution is for India’s sole benefit of security Trinco natural harbour. Signing of the Accord was done after transporting Prabakaran to India and keeping him there until the Accord was signed. Prabakaran had no choice but to agree knowing his fate if he did not do so. His eelam was only for him and his low caste men to reign supreme. The geopolitical interest of Trinco and thus aligning East was solely the work of India. Indo-Lanka Accord & 13a would have been drafted by India as have been all agreements signed thereafter with India
- India has positioned its influence in all strata of society and is now pushing these buttons to politically influence the governments in power.
- When 304m Indians are without electricity India wants to give Sri Lanka electricity.
- No solution for Indian poaching and stealing Sri Lanka’s fish inside Sri Lanka’s water.
- Diplomatically India holding Sri Lankan statements to ransom –
West’s hijacking of Tamil minority card for their own political gains in particular with West’ pivot to Asia signalling the return of neo-colonial rule and plunder.
The West’s imperialist adventures are accompanied and complimented by the use of the mainstream media owned & controlled by them who in turn influence local media, world trade organizations that are used to drop sanctions/deny loans/hold the red card on human rights as excuse / the Church/Vatican & network of Churches who easily influence the local network, the Western government paid NGOs/Humanitarian Organizations/Charities/Rights Groups & Activists & the UN stooges
If the West was sincere about the War against Terror, they should have congratulated Sri Lanka on militarily defeating the very terrorist group 32 nations continue to ban. Instead, a plethora of allegations without evidence have been targeted against Sri Lanka & its Armed Forces from bogus 40,000 dead figures, well-funded documentary lies, books, reports, panel discussions funded by and presented by paid activists not taking the legal aspects of an armed conflict but throwing unknown people claiming to be either LTTE cadres or anonymous ‘witnesses’ and expecting the whole world to accept that war crimes have been committed.
These calls are complimented with political pressures from Western foreign envoys, UN apparatus, western media and paid activists whose chorus of demands are the same
- Demilitarize the North – remove the national army. To force the government to do this they have come up with numerous ploys – accusing the army of rape, projecting the notion that the army are everywhere and interfering, showing interviews of people showing anger at the military presence. All these efforts are with the sole goal of trying to give a picture that the military should be removed. To substantiate these a host of doctored reports again with anonymous facts and figures are being used unabashedly by the UN.
- Repealing laws like PTA – which are important given that the terrorist/eelam threat continues to prevail
- Removal of patriotic officers and replacing them with subservient officials at every level of public administration.
- Introducing various supposed corruption mechanism and even bringing public officials before them thus giving the signal that public officials should not question but follow orders – this has further crippled administration.
- Bringing law & order under PM when it should be under the President.
- UN influence to change labor laws – to facilitate open economy, liberalizations would mean better opportunities to exploit labor and lesser opportunities to seek legal action against corporates
- New constitution – drafters are all either eelam lobbyists, foreign bankrolled NGO heads, people peddling federalist ideology and those seeking to tweak the constitution to enable them to remain & die in power!
- Colonization/Buddhsization chants – all with ulterior intent to remove Sinhalese from North to facilitate eelam demand (removal of Military and Sinhala villages automatically envisages bid for self-determination) for which the West is also pushing for they can easily set up a foreign base in the combined North and East and thus get a better foothold in Asia with strategic trade advantage too.
- Arrival of UN officials looking into minority rights – with a bigger plan to showcase Tamils not as a minority by combining all Tamils in their greater eelam bid subjecting Sinhalese to a minority status and facilitating the Eelam bid.
- The West’s intent to create a base in Sri Lanka – news of the former British embassy being turned into military complex has had no response from the present government. Regular arrival of US military officials to the island, ships and planes are also questionable.
- The lobbies headed by Church fathers against Port City is also noteworthy – a protest is currently taking place.
- The most powerful country in the world now rigging elections and arresting investigative journalists for covering the North Dakota pipeline is trying to deliver democracy and rule of law to the world!
Blunders by Sri Lankan politicians
- Failure to squash Homeland/Self-determination theories using historical and academic facts.
- Failure to officially deny Sri Lanka’s conflict as an ethnic conflict but a terrorist/armed conflict
- Failure to officially squash notions of colonization claims – colonization does not apply to sovereign countries. People have constitutional rights to live anywhere. The very people who were given numbers and had to seek permission to leave North by LTTE are now ordering Sinhalese to be evicted after soldiers died to give them freedom from LTTE. What an ungrateful people.
- Failure to stop racism by minorities which as a result have led to reactions by the majority which in turn have generated unnecessary foreign involvement facilitating the advancement of their agendas. Lack of common political consensus on what cannot be bargained or compromise by any political party.
- Failure of governments with 2/3 majority not to repeal the 13th amendment
- Special gazette notification of 21 August 2015 that has transferred Bogaswewa village the only Sinhala pradeshiya sabha to North Central from the Northern Province.
- As regard the question of rights the failure of politicians to clearly state that ONLY INDIVIDUALS have rights not ETHNIC COMMUNITIES. As far as individual rights are concerned laws are in place that guarantees individual rights and wherever there are violations there are avenues to address these wrongs and seek redress.
- Failure to demand instances from those pointing fingers where violations have occurred with facts,
- Failure of Sri Lankan governments, public officials, advisors & consultants to draft a national India policy to meet the threats posed by India at different levels across society in Sri Lanka.
While all this fiasco is going on the Tamils are now working to rejuvenate their transnational government to lay claim to Sri Lanka renaming it Ceylon and demand status of minority be changed in view of global Tamils numbering over 76million as against just 14million Sinhalese. The UN official on minority rights has arrived to facilitate this while the Sinhalese leaders are opening all avenues enabling these LTTE diaspora to not only gain dual citizenship, but buy land, open investments and take over Sri Lanka completely. There are enough of avenues and diplomatic googly’s that can be played to undermine these threats – if only there was leadership and the will. With a subservient government and leaders minus patriotism there is little hope.
We do not need enemies when we have Sinhala politicians bellowing at each other in Parliament and in cuckoo land not bothered about what is taking place while they are at each other’s throats to come into power. Soon there will be no country for the Sinhalese – let that thought sink in to all.

All the problems Sri Lanka and the Sinhalese facing today are the handiwork of the catholic-run traitor UNPatriotic party.
From its inception it has divided Sinhalese and promoted minorities who have been their staunch supporters.
Now the minorities have realised even most of the Sinhalese deshapaluwan are also a bunch of traitors and
increasing their demands to dismember Mother Lanka.
Both sets of foreigners want their homelands in our country. Both multiplying at alarming rate to outnumber
the Sinhalese while acquiring more and more land from Sinhalese areas.. Sinhalese are being pushed and pushed to a corner and they going to be overwhelmed before
long. With that Buddhism will also be gone. Christian west, tamils, mussies and the catholics will be over the moon.
They all reaching their goals finally without too much of a struggle.

Tamil homeland is in Tamil Nadu, India.
Tamil Nadu should secede from India if Tamils want that homeland to be a Sovereign nation. That problem is India’s, for India to solve within its own territory without interfering in Sri Lanka.
There is NO SEPARATE HOMELAND for Tamils in Sri Lanka. They are a small minority in Sri Lanka, with EQUAL RIGHTS as Sri Lankan citizens, but NO SEPARATE TAMIL HOMELAND.
If Sri Lankan Tamils want a SEPARATE TAMIL HOMELAND, they should emigrate permanently to Tamil Nadu in India and wage a war of secession against India.
In Sri Lanka, we Sinhala Patriots will NEVER allow ANY COMMUNAL Bantustans to be created within Sri Lanka. Demanding such communal homelands should be declared TREASON and PUNISHED severely.
There is no one but the SINHALA BUDDHIST majority community of Sri Lanka that can defend and protect Sri Lanka’s territorial integrity and survival as.ONE undivided nation. Through millenia, that has been our role in this country, and untold numbers of our ancestors has sacrificed everything for that cause.

Indian Union includes Tamil Nadu and British build India staring from Tamil Nadu. Started with the Madras Regiments by the East India Co.
The world War Ii dissolved the British Indian Empire.
Tamils agitated for Independence from the Indian Union and hundreds of thousands of Tamils were killed by the Central Government. New legislation was introduced making separation from the Indian Union it illegal. Recent Sikh separatism is the best example.
It is the destruction of the Sinhalese is the Indian Empire’s objective. All Indians are united to destroy the victims of the Indian imperialism. Best example is the US ambassador in the Island.

Shenali – our many thanks for the truth. The truth of matters must be told, however ghastly.
In TAMIL NADU, the Homeland of the Tamil People, there are over 20 Million Dalit orign Tamils. The Caste is stated in their birth certificates. The Caste System there is 3,000 yrs old. Caste Wars have gone on there for three thousand years. The INDIAN Census is done on a Caste base.
FACT: Tamils of Dalit origin flee Tamil Nadu.
Closest and most hospitable country, with the Tamil Language in place (per the 13-A imposed under Duress by INDIA), is Sri Lanka.
Sri Lanka does not state Caste in anyone’s birth certificates.
Sri Lanka has FREE Education & health care, and now land being distributed to ‘refugee Tamils’ (no one knows who is a genuine Sri Lankan Tamil citizen and who is a Kallathoni).
Sri Lanka is the ‘sitting duck’ in this Caste War/poverty problem coming from Tamil Nadu.
Foreign countries are exploiting this situation. But what will happen to Tamils of any Tamil Eelam formed ? What is the part they will be forced to play ?
What should be done – some suggestions :
1. REMOVE the ILLEGAL 13-A.
2. Officially REVOKE the Vadukoddai Resolution of 1976. Present day Tamil leaders must do this.
3. Deport ALL ILLEGAL MIGRANTS.
4. Take Lanka in the direction of Clean Air, Water & Food for all.
5. Education : Should be Geared for Employment – Green Jobs mainly.
6. The existing CONSITUTION : More emphasis on UNITARY STATUS OF LANKA. REVIVE the ‘dead’ 6-A, and of course, REMOVE THE ILLEGAL 13-A.
7. If divisions happen and Lanka is broken up, then INDIA had better watch it – they are probably next to be dismembered.
Many more ideas are possible …… the ordinary folk of Lanka know better and care better than the Yahap folk ! Speak up Lankans, before it is too late !
The choice is ‘swim together or sink together’.

This is the gravest mistake of Sri Lankan politicians.

We are yet to see the full nastiness of 13A. It actually expanded Tamil Eelam to areas outside the north and the east as well. Very soon Tamil Eelam will include Colombo City and a coastal link from Madampe to Colombo City as well. Tamil (Nadu) language use has multiplied in this stretch and that is the harbinger of impending Tamil Eelam madness.
Non-Tamils promoting Tamil Eelam is nothing different to Tamils doing it. These people have become what they are because they “boldly” promoted Tamil racism which was rewarded by Tamils. A good salesman will sell what the buyers want most, not what he wants to sell.
This is a good move by the government.

If not done, these Sinhala people will suffer enormously under the racist Northern Provincial Council and eventually be evicted. In that case we lose the north-most geographic locality. By merging it with the North Central Province, these people can be better looked after. The military, not poor Sinhala villages must guard these vulnerable areas.

Dear Shenali, This is a wonderful article which summarizes a lot of issues very simply.
1.The 1983 riots were carefully orchestrated with the help of the best think tanks. JR was prevented from acting immediately thanks to interference by the Church I think since the Papal Nuncio is supposed to have been deported the end of that week when the riots ended. This was the key that opened the doors in the West to hordes of Tamils to go West and send money to LTTE which started the war and also gave credence to their claim of the genocide of Tamils. According to the Sansoni report, only 100-300 died along with around 50 Sinhalese.
2. A major question is why the Tamils who migrated to other Countries do not agitate for a homeland. Only in Sri Lanka, why?It is obvious that due to our proximity they want to create the Tamil state they have longed for in Sri Lanka.
3. The Sinhalese are a minority since 12 miles away there are 22 million Tamil Dalits and a total of 200 million Dalits in India waiting to pour into Sri Lanka. We need to invoke the R2P clause of UN to protect the Sinhalese by invasion from India. 4. India has always been manipulating our politicians either with threats or with incentives to do their bidding. The 13A was imposed illegally on JR and the 1988-90 uprising by the JVP was to oppose this bill. Around 80-90,000 Sinhala youth are supposed to have been killed in total mainly by the UNP Catholic Govt. Ranil Wickremasinghe is supposed to have run a torture chamber where around 15,000 Sinhala youths were tortured and killed on his orders while he is supposed to have watched. 8. It is very obvious that Ranil Wickremasinghe has no love for the country or the people. He has been a stooge of the powerful countries right from the beginning. He came into power as the PM illegally on Jan 8’15 when the spineless My3 was elected as President and he then appointed RW as PM when there was an existing PM and a Parliament with a cabinet.
9. Ranil then caused the Central Bank bond scam by appointing a foreigner as the Governer of Central Bank who proceeded to do a bond scam which has cost Sri Lanka a massive amount of money. Part of this money was used by him for the General Election in Aug 2015 which the UNP won only narrowly. Again the spineless My3 created a so-called National Govt as a coalition of the UNP and all the MPs who were rejected by the people who were brought in under the National List by the spineless My3.
10. The current Parliament is a comedy since the TNA which got only 16 seats is the Opposition while the SLFP members who did not join the coalition are in the wilderness without any official recognition. All the JO group members are harassed at every turn by another illegal group called the FCID created by RW. He seems to get all these brilliant ideas which are obviously coming from the think tanks of the powerful countries.
11. Ranil is supposed to be trying to bankrupt the country so that we are helpless like Greece and he is also supposed to be trying to lease out 5000 acre lots of land to foreigners for 100-year leases. This will enable the Tamil diaspora to lease out most of the North and East for exclusive use by the Tamils thereby creating a separate state.
Any other Govt which comes into power after this ridiculous puppet Govt must carry out a plan to correct all the mistakes that have been done over the years by successive Govts. We must rename the country as “Sinhale” which was the name of the country in the treaty the British signed with the Chieftains of Sri Lanka in 1815 when they handed over the country to them. They must have an inquiry into the activities of Ranil Wickremasinghe over the years and prosecute him. When the Batalanda commission found him guilty and removed his civic rights how did he manage to run for PM? Why is that no one raised any arguments against him?

There is no Tamil Homeland! It is a completely bogus invention. Even the most recent Pandyan invasion just prior to the arrival of the Portuguese in the 16th century by Aryachakravarthi only invaded the Jaffna peninsula only and the settlement of the Jaffna peninsula was very sparse. All earlier invasions by the Cholas etc. they invaded Anuradhapura and Pollonnaruwa and these was for short periods of time and there were no settlements whatsoever at all as a result. Most Tamils were brought over by the Portugese and the Dutch to work on Tobacco and Indigo plantations set up by the Portugese and the Dutch after the 16th century.
There were from around 600BC over 43 attempted invasions of the island by the Chola, Kalinga, Pandya, Vijayanagar and other South and Indian Kingdoms etc. However only six succeeded. There was one invasion by a Malayan kingdom too. These were during Sinhala Kings Walagamba, Dhutugemunu, Dhathusena, Vijayabahu I, Parakramabahu II, Buvanekabahu V and Parakramabahu VI times. However invaders invaded Anuradhapura, Pollonnaruwa and stayed only for a short period of time and left the island once they were overwhelmed. There were no settlements due to these invasions except the very last invasion by Aryachakravarthi of the Jaffna Peninsula.
When looking at Sri Lanka’s history, it is extremely obvious that from 600BC to around 1400AD there were three kingdoms, all Sinhala Buddhist, Ruhuna, Pihiti or Rajarata and Maya or Malayarata. Rajarata encompassed today’s North Central, North Western, Northern and even the Central Province. Ruhunu rata encompassed today’s Uva, Eastern and Southern Provinces. The Kandyan Kingdom from 1400AD encompassed most of the island inclusive of today’s Northern and the Eastern Provinces except for the Jaffna Peninsula. Even the Jaffna Peninsula was invaded and occupied by force by Aryachakravarthi (Pandyan) and actually did belong to Rajarata earlier and later the Kandyan Kingdom.
Today’s provincial boundaries were drawn up by the British colonialists as per their divide and rule policy and the Sinhala people were not consulted when drawing up these provincial boundaries. In the meantime, most Sri Lankan Tamils of today were actually brought over during Dutch and British times to the Jaffna Peninsula and elsewhere to work on tobacco and indigo plantations which were planted extensively in all the colonies since they were much sought after and made a lot of money for the colonialists. Therefore they are recent arrivals and cannot claim homelands or separate states whatsoever.
The usual practice when a colonial power hands over their former colonies is to hand it over to its original owners. Therefore the British colonialists should hand over the Kandyan Kingdom to the Kandyan Sinhalese from whom they took it by force. Since the Kandyan Kingdom encompassed the North and the East, these provinces too should be handed over to the Kandyan Sinhalese who are its rightful owners. Even the Jaffna Peninsula should be handed over to the Kandyan Sinhalese since it was part of Rajarata and was forcefully occupied by Aryachakravarthi (Pandyan).
Since this has now been done already, the TNA, other separatists or the US, UK EU, Canada, Norway, Sweden and India cannot demand that present day Northern or even the Eastern provinces be provided any more powers or be made into federal states since this is totally going against the history and archaeology of the island and totally going against the rights of the Sinhala people who also have fundamental rights to claim the entire island inclusive of the North and the East as their homeland first and foremost.
History which was dropped as a subject should be taught at school since Sri Lanka has a very long history and it is very beneficial for the next generation to learn the history and archaeology of the island based on actual archaeological findings, archaeological ruins, artefacts, stone inscriptions, ola leaf writings and so on. Otherwise people will believe any bogus history invented by interested parties to their benefit, not based on facts but invented for their own nefarious purposes. Today these settlers such as the Sri Lankan Tamils are inventing history for their own purposes without any archaeological evidence whatsoever to back up such bogus claims. Therefore it is imperative that history is taught as a subject in school as soon as possible.

The Sri Lankan Tamils demanding a ‘Tamil homeland’ is a bogus demand as per the history and archaeology of the country. Even a few months back, a discovery was made of an archaeological site in Anuradhapura dating back to 800BC and included beads, pottery etc. Anuradhapura was a large village by 900BC and there was an expansion into a city by 600BC. There is plenty of evidence of pre-historic cave discoveries such a the Fa Hien caves, the Bellanbendi pellessa and other cave discoveries especially in the wet zone of pre-historic sites or iron age and stone age discoveries (due to the clay in the wet zone preserving such sites well). The oldest skeleton found on the island is 37,000 years old. We know there were four tribes Yaksha, Naga, Raksha and Deva and around 600BC there was an influx of people from India, possibly Bengal or Orissa. These people together with the four tribes Yaksha, Naga, Raksha and Deva together then formed the Sinhala nation. This is why Anuradhapura which was a village by 900BC expanded into a city by 600BC.
Does all this archaeological evidence not prove that the Sinhala people are the descendants of the indigenous people of the island i.e. the yakshas, Nagas, Rakshas and Devas? Much later by around the 16th century due to the Aryachakravarthi invasion of the Jaffna Peninsula the Sri Lanka Tamils migrated but into the Jaffna peninsula only. Later during the Portuguese, Dutch and British colonial times, there were further migrations of Sri Lankan Tamils (called Malabars meaning those from the Malabar coast of India) for purposes of planting tobacco and indigo brought in by the colonialists.
Of course other people such as the Arab traders, Malays, then the Burgers (descendants of colonisers) also migrated to the island too.
Does this not then prove that this island inclusive of the North and the East is the homeland of all its people? So is this demand for a separate state by the Sri Lankan Tamils (called Malabars meaning those from the Malabar coast of India), descendants of recent migrations to the island, not absurd and unacceptable?
Let us state in the constitution that this island is the homeland of all its people, for the sake of justice and fairplay, by everyone concerned.

There are further historical facts and figures which prove that this ‘Tamil homeland’ demand is completely bogus. Apart from many Buddhist ruins, a very important part of the Sinhala Buddhist civilization which is the extensive hydraulic system that still prevails in the dry zone of Sri Lanka. The Sinhala kings built over 10,000 (please check this figure in research papers for accuracy) large, medium and small scale irrigation reservoirs in Rajarata and Ruhuna encompassing today’s, North Central, North, Eastern, North Western provinces. For example Yodha Wewa Reservoir in today’s Mannar in the North was built by the Sinhala King Dathusena. The Pavatkulam Reservoir in Vavuniya in the North was built by the Sinhala King Mahasen. The Kanthale Reservoir in the East was built by Sinhala King Agbo II. All of the irrigation reservoirs present in the North Central, North, North Western and East were built by Sinhala Kings.
In fact, to get the water to flow out of the reservoirs in a smooth manner, the Sinhala Engineers invented the biso kotuwa or the besi kotuwa (as in wathura besi kotuwa), a type of valve pit, or a type of water outlet out falling from the reservoir where water pressure can be managed so as not to damage the tank bund. Another use of the Sinhala irrigation engineer was the anicut where a river’s water was diverted using a dam type structure built across the river partially blocking the river flow and diverting the water into open channel flow canals.
The amazing and extensive irrigation system in Sri Lanka’s dry zone encompassing today’s North Central, North, East and North Western Provinces encompassing over 10,000 (please check this figure for accuracy) large, medium and small scale reservoirs, open channel flow canals etc. was built by the Sinhala Kings.
Therefore there is no doubt whatsoever that there was a Sinhala Buddhist civilization encompassing today’s North Central, North, East and North Western Provinces, even just by considering this extensive irrigation reservoir system. R.L. Brohier , H.C.P. Bell, D.LO. Mendis, Henry Parker and many archaeologists, irrigation engineers and surveyors have written many books and research papers on this subject. In fact even the British Governor at the time Sir Henry Ward marvelled at the ingenious Sinhala irrigation engineer and wrote on the subject and Even Sir Emerson Tennent, another British Governor marvelled at the ingenious Sinhala irrigation engineer and wrote on the subject. In fact, the Sinhala irrigation engineer was a master of hydraulics. Not only that, extensive data on rainfall patterns would have had to be collected to figure out the capacity of the irrigation reservoirs. Very accurate surveying of the lay of the land would have had to be carried out to come up with very accurate contour maps in order to figure out the placing of the reservoirs and the traces of the open channel flow canals.

Please, please, please for the sake of sanity, can anyone explain to me how on earth can the Sinhala people who have lived in this island, our motherland, for over 2600 years and who were the architects of the extensive Sinhala Buddhist hydraulic civilization which has lasted over 2600 years and considering that this civilization was based in the dry zone of the country, colonise our own country? Is this not a huge joke? This is our country and we can live anywhere we want (however in peace and harmony with all others). Sinhala people’s tribal ancestors by the way i.e. the Yaksha, Nagas, Rakshas and Devas have lived in this island for over 37,000 years. Therefore this joke about colonization must stop. Descendants of settlers such as the Sri Lankan Tamils are the ones actually who colonised the island and that is fine but do not fool the world and try to harass the indigenous Sinhala people with completely wrong misinformation being disseminated around the world for propaganda purposes.

The LTTE massacred over 35,000 Sri Lankan Armed Forces members, Police Force members and Civil Defense Force members over 6000-7000 overwhelmingly Sinhala but also Muslim civilians, 1,253 Indian Peacekeeping Forces (IPKF) members, over 2,000 Tamil Armed Group members who supported the Government of Sri Lanka and who were against the LTTE, around 3,000 Tamil civilians and all this add upto 47,000. Around 35,000 LTTE terrorists are estimated to have perished too. In all around 84,000 in total have perished on both sides in the war.
As you can see it is the brutal LTTE terrorists who massacred over 47,000 mainly Sri Lankan Armed Forces members, Police Force members, Civil Defense Force members in over 26 years of war. Over 23,000 Sri Lankan Armed Forces members are today both temporarily and permanently disabled due to the war. Over 13,000 Sri Lankan Armed Forces members are permanently disabled due to the war. Over 156,000 Sri Lankan Armed Forces members have been injured due to the war. Over 6,000-7,000 overwhelmingly Sinhala but also Muslim civilians have been massacred by the LTTE terrorists in the war of over 26 years.
The LTTE terrorist group also ethnically cleansed the entire Sinhala and Muslim population of the Northern Province, of over 65,000 Sinhala people and over 75,000 Muslim people of the Northern Province in the 1980s and the 1990s. The LTTE also ethnically cleansed the entire Sinhala population of the Batticaloa District in the East of over 25,000 Sinhala people.
Today, the Sinhala people and their descendants of over 135,000 are yet to be resettled in the North and in the Batticaloa District and Muslims of over 115,000 are yet to be resettled in the North. Uptil 2012, of the above number, around 32,000 Sinhala people and around 32,000 Muslims has been resettled in the North.
The LTTE terrorist group recruited over 20,000 child soldiers, all Tamil youth, as attested by UNICEF itself which stated in 2007 that perhaps the LTTE has recruited over 20,000 young persons under the age of 18 years into its cadre between 1983-2007 inclusive.
The LTTE was notorious for its horrific terror tactics such as large scale bomb attacks and the use of suicide bombers in carrying out hundreds of attacks against mainly Sinhala civilians and the country’s leadership, horrific attacks against Sinhala civilians using IED devices, claymore mines and bombs, the massacre of Sinhala villagers in their villages in the North Central, Eastern, Northern and North Western Provinces, the coerced recruitment or abduction of Tamil youth and children for recruitment as child soldiers, forced money collection from Tamils with threats to life in case of non-compliance, attacks on Sri Lanka’s economic infrastructure such as the Central Bank of Sri Lanka (CBSL), Sri Lanka’s the then only international airport, oil storage facilities, hotels, planes, buses, trains etc. ethnic cleansing of Sinhalese and Muslims from the North and East of Sri Lanka, the assassination of Indian Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi, the systematic assassination of over 120 noteworthy Sri Lankan politicians, civil servants, senior military and police officers, prelates, activists, academics, journalists and other professionals who were assassinated by the LTTE who were but a few of the hundreds of assassinations carried out by the LTTE, including the former Sri Lankan Foreign Minister Lakshman Kadirgamar.

The countries out to destabilize Sri Lanka and create an Eelam are the US, EU, UK, Norway, Sweden, Canada and India alongside the TNA, other separatists and the LTGE terrorists. It has been extremely obvious this has been the case for the past almost two and a half decades not just now. Therefore it is quite good for all Sri Lankans to be informed about this fact and be very vary of this fact.
