   What a sad state of affairs. A country that was developing against all odds, next only to China, now is put on sale. I have never heard such a depressing story.

   But then, from where did the money come from to buy luxury SUVs for Ministers and MPs, DOUBLE their Salaries, give Rs. 100,000/mth bonuses to these same RASCALS?

   I know why though: it is IMPERATIVE they be bribed NOW for their votes on the upcoming BILLS to DISSOLVE Sri Lanka! This has HIGHER PRIRITY than saving National Assets!

   Meanwhile, it is also a HIGHER PRIORITY to stock the UNPatriotic Party cofferas with LOOT from the GREAT CENTRAL BANK ROBBERY …. an ELECTION slush fund, and for BUYING PROPAGANDA media channels! Stay TUNED!

   Many classy writers and commentators contribute to LankaWeb in a meaningful way and what we write here, it appears, has some followers. I have seen some mainstream meadia personnel also use the exact words or phrases that we use here. Only LankaWeb could tell how many hits are there for each article. That is my thinking. Through the efforts of many like Ananda, Gonsul, Dirook,Christy et al, I believe we have been able to create an awareness among the public about the rights of Sinhalas. I have a feeling that GOSL also listens. However we never use vulgar words that goes to the gutter to give the punch, just like what I seen above. If our 2500 odd years Buddhist culture is some thing that we should be proud about, we shouldn’t go down to that level.

   This governement is so corrupt and its ministers and PM take Paga even from Mahinda Rajapakse. Propably they have taken loans from loan sharks to spend for the elctions.
