What Tilvin says is UNDOUBTEDLY TRUE of the YAMAPALANAYA his own JVP helped to bring to power.
But, IT IS NOT TRUE of the MR/UPFA GOSL that was growing the economy and developing national infrastructure to INCREASE the National Income and the incomes of individual citizens according to a well structured plan and an affordable budget!
Is it only NOW that Tilvin has suddenly discovered that the Yamapalanaya, of which his JVP is a partner, has MISMANAGED THE ECONOMY and brought it to the BRINK OF BANKRUPTCY?
HINDSIGHT they say is ALWAYS 20/20!
If Tilvin and the JVP now realizes that supporting the Yamapalanaya KALLIYA to oust the previous government was a TERRIBLE MISTAKE, why are they STILL A PART of the Yamapalanaya?
You can’t have it BOTH WAYS, Tilvin!
The JVP should STOP HUNTING with the HOUNDS and RUNNING with the FOXES!
BLOODY HYPOCRITES, pretending they are not ALSO RESPONSIBLE for the DEBACLE FACING the country!
Agree with Ananda-USA, these hypocritical psychos the JVP helped bring down the previous govt. Which deserved to be re-elected. If re-elected, MR Govt would have had a better global environment to work in compared to before Jan 2015. With changes sweeping the west with Trump phenomenon, which saw Obama, Hillary Clinton and Brexit saw David Cameron Sri Lanka’s tormentors go the way of the dodo. Soon France and Germany to follow with unpopular Hollande and Merkel. In current world, MR and Sri Lanka would have prospered even more. Instead thanks to the stupid vote of Jan 2015 today facing the brink of bankruptcy. All is not lost however. Sri Lanka can still turn the ship around. Thankfully MR is still active in politics in Sri Lanka. Sri Lanka must make sure that MR and Gota are re elected back into office and soon! If Sri Lanka is to over turn the unnecessary damage of the Maithripala Sirisena years!
