It seems as though the Sri Lanka Cricket Administration and whoever is behind the decision to send a team to Pakistan has made a poor judgement as it could imperil the players and endanger them as Pakistan today is a hotbed of terrorist activity of both ISIS and The Taliban and totally unsafe so the Cricket Board should in all probabilities re- think and rescind the decision given all the contributing factors as it seems a very unwise one.
There are very few or perhaps none at all amongst cricketing nations willing to risk sending players to Pakistan given all the goings on there and in the case of Sri Lanka they have already been subjected to a horrendous attack in the not too distant past at Lahore where some players barely escaped with their lives and the choice seems moronic if it s just for the money it could generate. Is it worth risking the safety of the players and staff regardless of what Pakistan authorities have to say as the answer should be a very emphatic NO!
The Players too should have a say in the decision as anyone who remembers what happened in Lahore some years ago would shudder recalling the horror and fear they were subjected to so Sorry! Mr President of Sri Lanka Cricket and your associates you should find a more secure location to play the intended series against Pakistan or be prepared to face the consequences which could result in dire repercussions.
Even Pakistan prefers to play their matches in the Mid East rather than at home which is a telling factor and what motivated Sri Lanka Cricket to approve such a tour is mind boggling and reflects on the lack of insight and awareness on the part of those who consented to it!

Don’t send our Cricketers there. It is not the ISIS I am worried about but RAW. Even the previous attempt on our team bus was to discredit Pakistan plus to stop Pakistan’s assistance to finish LTTE was a low shot by Indian RAW.
With our brain dead Sirisena and Ranil, if something is to befall our cricket team our jokers will request the Indians intervene to bring back the body bags. India is killing two birds with one stone. Our ailing cricket is going to die plus they get a foot hold in Pakistan.
