   Kiriella is a BIG PAGA MARUWA.IT WAS REPORTED THAT HIS DAUGHTER RECOMMENDED A CERTAIN CONTRACTOR KNOWN TO HER OVER RULING THE TENDER PROCEDURE WHICH WAS APPROVED BY HER FARTHER”KIRIELLA NOHOTH “PERERA” WHO ADOPTED HIS WIFE’S NAME AS KIRIELLA TO SHOW THE PUBLIC THAT HE IS “KANDYAN”!!!

   Susantha,
   I could listen to it easily, why you were unable I don’t know.

   Points discussed were

   1. Project cost $890 million but commercial loan of $1000 million taken. Why more ? have to pay interest for the whole thing.

   2. First tender , forwarded by Ranil to cabinet was cancelled by the President.

   3. 2nd Tender one terderer (by Taisei $159 million) invalidated due to no bank gurantee. Lower tenderer Fujita has no experience.

   4. Now , as governements get involved, Taisei+ Fujita JV has given a tender of $132 million.

   5. Cost per km is $27 million ( in my view, it is way way too high although difficult terrain is involved. On generally falt land actual cost shall be around $3-4 million per km)

   All these are very suspicious and not open.

   My question, why it is mostly Maharaja’s News First and Sirasa pushing these so much ?
