   සින්හලයන් මෙය වටහා ගෙන එකමුතුවනතුරු යන කලක් නැත.

   The DESHA-DROHI JANA-PATHI has done his treacherous deed again, and has succeeded in PREVENTING 26 SLFP MPS from supporting the NCM and ABSTAINING from voting.

   Had they VOTED for the NCM, the PAL-HORA PARA-GATHI AGA-MATHI
   would have been OUSTED!

   Ratana Himi has PROVED YET AGAIN TO BE AN ACCOMPLISHED TURNCOAT, and ABSTAINED after REPEATEDLY students stating his OPPOSITION to the PM. ONE DAY this guy will REAP what he SOWS in FULL MEASURE.

   Now the QUESTION IS: Will the SLFP/UPFA MP’S who voted FOR the NCM e it those parties and JOIN the POHOTTUWA thus making it possie to DENY 2/3 majority to the UNP/ Yama palanaya Govt?

   This is a CRITICAL ISSUE that will determine whether a NEW FEDERAL CONSTITUTION BILL and the pending JUDICIAL Adjudicature Bills CAN BE PASSED by the YAMAPALANAYA!

   The TNA and the SLMC will now DEMAND their own Bantustans from the SERVILELY GRATEFUL Ranil Wikunanasinghe as their POUNDS of Mother Lanka’s FLESH in return for helping him survive.

   I now expect MASSIVE MOBILISATION of the SINHALA BUDDHIST PATRIOTIC FORCES in OPPOSITION .

   And YES, our BLOOD WILL FLOW PROFUSELY in the Streets until this TREACHEROUS HEROES Yamapalanaya is FINALLY OUSTED at the POLLS 18 MONTHS from NOW.

   THERE is NO POINT CASTIGATING the UNPatriotic Party, and their RUNNING DOGS in the TNA, SLMC and other minor parties of Man Ganesan etc. They have ACTED just as we EXPECT them to.

   But, those DESHADROHIYAS of the SLFP and others like Ratana Himi and even Wijedasa Rajapakse MUST BE TARRED & FEATHERE and BANISHED from the PATRIOTIC FOLD ….. FOREVER!

   I agree with Ananda, particularly the last paragraph. Any trace of patriotism associated with them is now gone.

   One good thing that came out of this is the disruption of the regime and denying it two thirds majority. They will fail to pass the new constitution and do any other major changes to the Constitution. Marrying TNA for political survival is disastrous for the UNP. They have no learnt a lesson from 1970 and 2004.

   On the other hand TNA has proven they are shameless beggars to go after UNP begging for Tamil Eelam which is not forthcoming. Although UNP may pretend to be accomodating separatism, in reality UNP knows any division of the country or substantial power devolution means losing elections. Retaining the north and east well connected to the rest of the nation is key to UNP election success. UNP has no chance of winning any national election in the rest of the 7 provinces.

   This is the dilemma faced by the UNP, TNA, SLMC and ACMC. They can only remain united in the interim. Tamil Eelam or a local Tamil Nadu means they become worst enemies of each other.

   Something is better than nothing. At least a fraction of ministers voted against their Prime Minister. Can they work under him anymore? Hope they provide some entertainment for us during this festive season!

   In a way the ultimate winner is the JO because as I said before anyone else other than Ranil is going to draw more Sinhala votes at the Presidential election. However was a decision made for him to leave the post sometime later with some dignity & appoint someone else in the UNP to contest the Presidential election?.MS & RW ( with all the advice from the foreign hands) made a fool of the NCM group. MS is playing very shrewd dirty politics under some advisers. I don’t think he has the capability to do these himself. He shows the country that he is trying to get rid of this regime but at the post he double crosses, this has now happened several times. It seems as no one crossed over, the govt will still enjoy the two thirds majority. The other significant issue was the JVP voting against the govt they brought in. Now if the JO can get them somehow to support at the Presidential election with some compromise, that will be the best alliance in my view.
   I would like some young brains from the JO to come forward in the campaign to be seen in support of MR/GR. A young group of educated MPs to emerge forward along with GR/MR. We cannot bank on those two alone in the bigger scheme of things.
