Stop All efforts of reconciliation with Tamils immediately.

He is gone……!!!
President Maithripala Sirisena is gone after giving 683 acres of land back to Tamils to honour the reconciliation demands of the CHOGM leaders, who will now receive him as a real democrat who is prepared to sacrifice any thing to be received and hugged by Theresa May and other White Leaders of the white Commonwealth, and be allowed to shake in addition the gloveless hands of the Queen.
President Sirisena is completely duped by the Western White leaders and he will never rid himself of his Prime Minister Ranil Wickramasinghe who is really the pet of the West, who introduced Maithripala Sirisena into the USA and Western white political circle. Thanks to PM Ranil Wickramasinghe he can even have tea with the Queen at Buckingham Palace ,which he at last found in UK, and not in New York as he had thought before.
There was a time when this circle of White Western leaders including the then Black USA President, received Colonel Gaddafi of Libya and even allowed him to put his arm round their necks, but laughed behind him and finally allowed him to be murdered by his own men. So beware President Maithripala Sirisena you never know what you can expect from the West.
However, it is imperative that this comedy of reconciliation is put to an immediately. It was Ranil who got his then Minister of Foreign Affairs Mangala Samaraweera to meet the Christian Emmanuelle of the Global Tamil Forums and other Tamil Diaspora Representatives without informing the Parliament or the President to talk on equal terms about the Yahapalanaya reconciliation plan.
As a result of it, Sirisena Ranil Yahapalanaya planned the writing of a New Constitution in consultation with the Tamil Diaspora , the USA Ambassador Athul Keshup, and India. They also removed several important Military Camps from the North and the East. They allowed the National Anthem to be sung in Tamil, and released thousands of acres of land taken over by the Armed Forces for security purposes.
But all these have been done in the name of reconciliation with Tamil but the Tamils in return ask for more and has not given anything in return for the all efforts of this Stupid Yahaplanaya Government’s concessions to Tamil, which if not stopped now would eventually end up with a Federal Constitution and a Tamil only Provinces in the North and East.
While the Government continues to meet the demands of the TNA, the West and the Tamil Diaspora, the CM Wigneswaran of the Northern Provincial Council complains that the Sri Lanka Government has not done anything effective to oust the Sinhalese who have illegally occupied the lands and houses of the Tamils ever since they fled the Island following ethnic crisis. These appears to be absolute lies as no mention of such illegal occupations had been reported , nor have a large number of Sinhala families chased away by the terrorists have been allowed to go back to the lands they were forced to abandon.
North Provincial Councillor T Raviharan organised protests in front of the Mullaitivu Distict Secretariat on the 10th April,2018, to oppose the settlement of outsiders. The Tamils raised objections in December, 2017, against holding funeral rights of the late Gnanananda Thero the Chief Prelate of the Nagavihara in Jaffna.
The Tamil politicians protest against the construction of Sambodhi Vihara in Mullaithivu by venerable Tissapura Gunarathana thero. They call him an extremist Buddhist Monk. Building Buddhsit temples in the North and East the Tamils say negates reconciliation. Sumanthiran and TNA want a secular constitution to Sri Lanka removing from it the special place given to the protection of Buddhism.
Are these protests against Buddhsism which is the very life blood of the Sinhala Buddhist a show of gratitude of the Tamils for having given into their demands to promote reconciliation ?
Is there any one single thing the Tamils have done by way of reconciliation with the Sinhala people ?
Is there any reason why Sri Lanka should listen to the UK Government or the Canadian government the Ministers of which attend extremist Tamil Functions and support their demand for an Eelam in Sri Lanka ?
It is time for Sri Lanka to stop further reconciliation efforts with the Tamils, until the Tamil politicians stop their baseless demands for devolution of power in their search for reconciliation.
The government of Sri Lanka should, instead of handing over acres and acres of land back to Tamils, resettle the Sinhala people who were forced away from their lands by the terrorists. If their lands have been occupied by Tamils , they should be given new lands and stop the Tamil politicians in the North and East harass them continuously once they have been settled down.
The Sri Lanka Armed Force should also be informed that they have no right of its own to hand over land to Tamils without obtaining prior permission from the Parliament.
Enough is enough the Yahaplanaya Government has lost the confidence of the people and they cannot con as nothing has had happened in the country out side the Parliament after the No Confidence motion against the Prime Minister Ranil Wickramasinghe was lost in Parliament.
The Parliament consists only of 225 persons and all of them do not to a great extent after their election three years back retain the confidence of the people who elected them.

Tamils are known as the jews of Asia. Tamils will never give up their anti Sinhalese feeelings. GOSL has no back bone to re settle the displaced Sinhalese in the North.

Forcing the military out of the former war zone is continuing since 2009. It is a national problem not a political party problem.

The biggest impediment to overall development of our motherland and the well-being of our people at large, has been the savage Tamil racism, extremism, separatism and the vicious Tamil terrorism faced by the nation for some three decades. It is a well-evident fact that it was Tamil separatism, supported by the hypocritical West, that has brutalized and stunted our nation during the past few decades. They are the real enemies of our nation.

Sri Lankan majority ethnic group (less the TRAITORS) is still over seventy five percent of the population. The voters will not repeat the mistake they made in 2015. Who ever comes into power will have to meet the demands of the majority.
The rest will have no choice but learn to live as minorities. Like their counter parts do in other countries all over the world.

Only alternative is to elect an administration led by Gotabhaya without minority support. To realize this all patriots be they SLFP or UNP should unite and vote. As we have seen over the last few years there is hardly any difference between these two parties when it comes to their political outlook.
The minority parties be they Tamil or Muslim are inimical for the existence of Sri Lanka. One is trying to divide and bifurcate and the other is trying to make the whole of Sri Lanka an Islamic country in the years ahead by taking over the economy and physically the economic centres.
Attempt to remove the Executive Presidency should be defeated as it is the only means of bringing a patriot such as Gotabhaya to power and abrogate the 19th Amendment that took away Presidential powers. Removing the executive presidency keeping the 13th Amendment in force is political and national suicide. Historically Sri Lanka never prospered when the centre withered away or was weakened.
Mahinda is a politician, too trusting, short sighted and easily mislead by those who manage to get close to him. He was too duped by the Maharjano mentality he fell into the first trap door erected by the opposition. We need a Statesman to lead the nation and the majority in Sri Lanka demand that Gotabhaya be brought in as the next President.

Gotabhaya and Mahinda are a good combination. But Mahinda is a good leader and a good politician. He can stand to pressure and see clearly where he has to go. We often fail to see Mahinda in the context and circumstances undes which he came to power. He had to give in to all sorts of people . Because every body was necessary to fight terrorism and to clear obstacle for development thereafter. He must have learnt from his errors.
We have to get closer to Russia and China to keep the West at Bay. The USA and West are destructive forces. We see now on the issue of Syria as they had been with Lybia and Iraq before. They simply do not want dialogue .. they do not want to investigate and see the issues objectively. They have decided who is wrong and that’s it. They want to use their military power against the enemy they have selected on their own. Macron I thought as a young politician would be different but he is no better.
JVP is useless, it is a pity if they are with socialist forces they would be useful, but they are head strong and have a false idea of their political importance.

I agree Charles. However we should not be in the same position as before and fail again. Mahinda should forget his immediate family – his wife and sons for a start. They are millstones around his neck. Gotabhaya and Mahinda and even Basil will make a good combination. They must work for the good of the nation forgetting any other consideration.

Dear Ratnapala, You cannot expect a father to forget about his sons and their mother. Did they do any evil to Sri Lanka. Those sons of Mahinda are good children they have done nothing wrong. There are people who are jealeaus who spread stories, we should not be moved by those vicious campaigns of character assassination.

History shows otherwise. It is families that completely destroyed leaders who came into power with good intentions. Marcos in the Phillipines, Suharto in Indonesia, Mubarak in Egypt to cite only a few in recent history. President Putin left his wife so did Modi of India to fully devote their time to their nations. The current President or I forget the Prime Minister of Singapore – son of Lee Kuan Yew bided his time came to be what he is today.
Matters of State cannot be equated with emotional and sentimental considerations. I know sons of Mahinda are much better than those of Sirisena or Rajitha Senaratne. They on on their own should bide their time in politics, get matured and rise up. What is not desireable is piggy backing on father’s fame and taking short cuts to the top of the heirarchy. Average voter resent such fatherly favouritisms. Besides there are others in party politics who strive hard. In the end it is the best who deserve the highest position and that should not be decided by family connections.
Although he is not any good and a hypocrite, Sajith Premadasa tread the correct path doing politics at grassroot level to become what he is today to become second in the UNP party hierarchy.

Ratanapala , your write up about successful political leaders is very good reason to believe that Political leaders should give up family attachments to better serve the country. Lets hope Mahindza would read it. But I refuse to believe his sons have blood on their hands and that they laundered money; Any way…….
Sajith Premadasa has no back bone. He is frightened to take up leadership. I remember when a rebellious group in UNP with Rosy requested Sajith to take over the leadership he said that Karu Jayasuriya was more senior to him and that he should be given the leadership. Karu as you know is useless he is a knave of Ranil. Sajith lack of a serious family attachment does not make him any suitable candidate for the leadersip of UNP. I do not see any possible young politician in UNP to take over its leadership. They are all playing only a subordinate role to Ranil.

Charles, I value what you say and write. I also agree that Mahinda’s sons do not have blood in their hands. My only point is that a country needs mature leaders and that doesn’t happen by getting piggy rides to the top of political hierarchy. There must be a fair chance to all other up and coming young politicians to be in the fray for leadership irrespective of family connections.
I also agree that Sajith has no path to the top. He has shown time and agains that he is only a wimp who can only lord over innocent villagers. I believe Rosy is a better leader than Sajith, but she spoilt her chances by taking over the Born Again Christian role and by her virulent Anti- Buddhist stance. For a woman who sold tea at the Katunayake Airport she has come a long way. She is intelligent but not that well educated. She is being used by the Chritian Church to advance their agenda in Sri Lanka. I pity her predicament!
As for Karu Jayasuriya, I believe he is being blackmailed by the UNP. That is the only way one can explain his traitorus behaviour as the Speaker of the House!

MR’s family members are normal, educated, people of a Sri Lankan family.
They are as good as leaders can get, along with family members.
Those who expect PERFECTION from human beings are living in a dream world !
Time to come down to Earth, and get going with practical realities !
The UNP mature leaders were killed off by the LTTE (trained in INDIA), in Cold War times.
