   In concurrence with the issues mentioned above, it is of paramount importance to consider and understand what will happen to the 12 Mile Seaboard that includes most of the continental shelf that belongs to Sri Lanka and the 200 Mile Economic Zone in the ocean around Sri Lanka.This is where immense wealth that rightly belongs to all Sri Lankans will become the property of only those who control the seaboard. This is in addition to maritime security and other threats that would be inimical to the existence of Sri Lanka.

   The only outcome that can emerge from these proposals is perpetual civil war and the decimation and pauperization of the Sinhalese. Across every waterway that crosses these provincial boundaries, there will be conflict and unrest – a thousand Mavil Arus will spring up overnight. Remember what happened at the Partition of India where millions died!

   Let us remember the names of all those who raised their hands to support this traitorous conspiracy against the people of Sri Lanka, mainly the majority Sinhalese.

   If we are not careful Sinhalese will get decimated and those that remain will end up as vassals of the minorities! The influx of Kallathonis will go on unabated!

   Ratnapala you are right.

   We Sinhalese are already the Dalits of Indian Colonial Parasites. Hinduthwa has reduced us to Dalits.

   It was dismantling of India. We need another one soon. There was no India before the British made it, It was like Europe a number of countries in the Indian Subcontinent.

   ශ්‍රී ලංකා පොදුජන පෙරමුණේ බොහෝ අය සිංහල ජාතිකවාදය වඩ වඩා ශක්තිමත් කරමින් බලයට පැමිණීමට දරන උත්සාහය වෙනස් කරගත යුතුම බව එම පක්ෂයේ ජාතික සංවිධායක බැසිල් රාජපක්ෂ මහතා පවසයි.

   සුළු ජාතීන්ට ඇති ප්‍රශ්න සරලව පැහැදිලි කළ නොහැකි බවත් එහි අමාරුව තේරෙන්නේ තමනුත් සුළුතරය බවට පත්වූ විට බවත් ඒ මහතා පෙන්වා දෙයි.

   ඒ මහතා මේ බව ප්‍රකාශ කර ඇත්තේ “අනිද්දා” පුවත්පතට සම්මුඛ සාකච්ඡාවක් ලබා දෙමිනි.

   ප්‍රශ්නය : ඔබ ජාතිභේද නැතිව දේශපාලනය කිරීම ගැන කීවත්, පොදුජන පෙරමුණේ ඉන්න බොහෝ අය උත්සාහ කරන්නේ සිංහල ජාතිකවාදය වඩ වඩාත් ශක්තිමත් කරමින් බලයට එන්නයි.

   පිළිතුර : ඒක නම් වෙනස් කරගත යුතුමයි. කවුරු මොනවා කිව්වත්. මම නම් ඒකට කැමතිම නැහැ. මම කියන්නේ නැහැ කිසිම ජාතියකට අසාධාරණයක් වෙන නීති හදන්න ඕනෑ කියලා. සමානත්වය ඇති කරන්න නීතිමය පසුබිම හදන්න ඕනෑ. මගෙනුත් අහන අය ඉන්නවා, ලංකාවේ වෙන ජනවර්ගවලට තියෙන ප්‍රශ්නය මොකක්ද කියලා. හැමෝටම සමාන අයිතීන් තියෙනවා නේද කියලා. ඒත් සුළු ජාතිකයෙකුට තියෙන ප්‍රශ්න මොනවාද කියලා ලේසියෙන් පැහැදිලි කරන්න බැහැ. තමනුත් සුළුතරය බවට පත්වුණොත් තමයි ඒ අමාරුව තේරුම් ගන්නේ. මම වෙනත් රටවල සුළුතරය විදියට ඉඳලා ඒ අත්දැකීම් ලබලා තියෙනවා. යම්කිසි කෙනෙක් දේශපාලනයෙන් බලයට එන්න ඒක යොදාගන්නවා නම් මම අනුමත කරන්නේ නැහැ.

   එසේම හැකිතාක් දුරට බලය බෙදිය යුතු බවත් බලය බෙදීම යනු ජනතාවගේ වැඩ කටයුතු කිරීමට ජනතාවටම අයිතිය ලබාදීම බවත් ඒ මහතා ප්‍රකාශ කරයි. ඒ වෙනුවෙන් ඉදිරියේදී තමා කටයුතු කරන බවද බැසිල් රාජපක්ෂ මහතා පැවසීය.
