From Genghis to God (2002): Instigated by missionaries and propagated by a Christian TV channel, Christianity is a growing religion in Mongolia where the traditional faith is Buddhism. Subscribe to Journeyman here: http://www.youtube.com/subscription_c…

In the heart of the Mongolian grasslands, a nomadic tribeswoman gives thanks for the preservation of her flock. While she speaks in her native tongue, one word is oddly familiar: Hallelujah!”. Despite her isolated position, Erdenesuren is one of a growing number of Mongolians to convert to Christianity. In the cities, American missionaries have set up their own TV channel to promote this idea to the people. Station boss Paul Swartzendruber argues: The Bible teaches you how to create wealth…have you ever met a poor Jew?” His station uses a mixture of scripture and MTV-style music Programming to attract Mongolia’s youth. And it appears to be working. There are now over 200 evangelical churches in Mongolia, filled with teenagers and twenty-somethings. With such a powerful invasion from the West, is there any future for Mongolian Buddhism?

  1. Ancient Sinhalaya Says:

All the crimes (sins) ANY two legged creature can do ANYWHERE under the sun:
    1 killing
    2 stealing
    3 sexual misconduct
    4 lying
    5 drug/alcohol abuse.

Above five are the basis for penal codes in every country under the sun. If they aren’t crimes (sins) why on earth
culprits get punished. Murder gets the maximum punishment and thinking you going to be rewarded is utterly ludicrous in the 21st century. If you look at your teeth, and then look at a cat’s/dog’s/lion’s (in a pic of course to avoid being a part of him for a few days) it will tell you what sort of diet we should be eating. Animals aren’t not
our food and they too have a right to life (just like The Buddha explained) and what’s more they contribute a lot to pollute the planet and pass on their diseases to the two legged creatures, (their revenge?). Refraining from the above five is Buddhism’s Five Precepts. Later religions copied the Five Precepts, added a few more and called it a different name, by then emphasis was gone and sins became sort of non-sins and today we have a selfish,
    greedy, uncaring, violent, unsafe societies/countries/world.

People used to worship trees, mountains, rivers, gods in the olden days in the absence of science. Charles
Darwin showed the world how the two legged creatures came to be being after evolving for millions of
years (just like The Buddha explained over 2,500 years ago preaching that you go through 100s, 1000s lifetimes
in the animal kingdom according to the karma you done before getting the ‘promotion’ to be a two legged
creature). Then his book, The Tree of Life, showed the world how all the other millions of creatures came to be
being. Today, all the people (honest only) accept Theory of Evolution to be true and every museum in the world
dedicates a large section to the Theory and displays 0 gods.

Then NASA’s missions showed the world, that the earth’s size is a grain of sand in the vast vast vast vast universe
where distances are measured in light years and no scientists knows where the edges are to date. Even looking
at the night sky with millions of stars should be enough to understand our place in the vast vast universe (again
just like The Buddha explained over 2,500 years ago). Buddhism disappeared from its birth place since it didn’t
fit the society there with caste systems, animal sacrifice etc. etc. and people quickly reverted back to religions of
conveniences to cheat themselves and pay for their sins in their next 100s 1000s of lifetimes in the animal
kingdom before getting the ‘promotion’ to be a two legged creature again. Then invading mussies killed all the
Buddhist monks and burnt down all Buddhist universities (a world’s first) and got rid of the only true religion in
the world completely from its birth place.

Same fate was dished out to former Buddhist countries iran, afganisthan, pakesthan, bangladesh, malaysia and
indonesia by the mussies since their arrivals in those countries with their baby machine wives. The fastest
breeding religion aka religion of violence multiplied and multiplied and murdered all the natives within a few
hundred years and turned those countries to mussie countries. Today almost all of them are hell holes. Buddhism
doesn’t have rich, powerful organisations or paid staff (all Buddhist monks rely on followers’ donations to survive)
or fast breeding to propagate it since it is up to the individual to spend this life well and make the next one even
better ensuring it is a two legged existence. Make sense? This is 21st century and taking the facts science has
provided, you do your maths. Buddhism isn’t a religion of convenience and most people outside the religion look
down or try to destroy it. Buddhism or Buddhists don’t try to force it down other people’s throat since it is entirely
up to the individual to choose his next life to be a good one in two legged existence!

    you make your own future.

These Christian missionaries only try to convert people belonging to non violent faiths like Buddhism and religions like Hindus. Why don’t they go to Islamic countries and convert the Muslims who easily brainwashed to be violent? As we see from what is happening today , where ever there are Muslims there problems. They should go to Myanmar and convert Rohigas. What these missionaries do is convert the Buddhists.
