    Major General Shavendra Silva is a great patriot and a professional.

    Extending his service is a disastrous decision from Sirisena’s point of view. A big win for the GR camp.

  2. Hiranthe Says:

    We need a patriotic Army Commander like Major General Shavendra at a bad time like this when Western vultures and hyenas are eying for a piece of this Island for their own consumption.

    He took up the fight with unfair UN on his own when he was posted to New York. Mother Lanka need their service badly. Unfortunately the Yahaps sent home the likes of Kamal Guneratna, Jagath Dias, Chaagi Gallage, Presenna Silva etc etc..

    @Dilrook
    Discarding the possibility Sira in GR camp ?
    Unwise !

    ALL THE NAMES ABOVE ARE GREAT PEOPLE, WITH GREAT PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND. PRESIDENT SHOULD MAKE USE OF THEM RIGHT NOW FOR THE COUNTRY’S BETTERMENT. LET ALL OF THEM BE ON THE FIELD. THE COUNTRY AND HE, SHOULD FEEL VERY SAFE.
