Datuk Ayob Khan Mydin PitchayKUALA LUMPUR, Oct 11 — Police have not ruled out the possibility of arresting more individuals to facilate investigations into the case involving the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE) terrorist group in Malaysia.

Bukit Aman Special Branch Counter Terrorism Division (E8) principal assistant director Datuk Ayob Khan Mydin Pitchay, said police had 28 days to conduct investigations on the seven individuals, including the two state assemblymen who were detained yesterday.

“Police are not ruling out the possibility of more individuals being arrested to assist in the investigations if there is enough evidence,” he told a press conference at the Bukit Aman monthly assembly, here today.

In this regard, he advised all parties to stop making statements that could affect the investigation process and public perception.

However, he pointed that there were no restrictions on individuals or parties who wanted to voice their personal views, but it would be a mistake to support, promote or raise funds for the LTTE terrorist group.

“…action can be taken if they (their actions and activities) are detected on social media or any other platform,” he said.

Commenting on the purpose of activating the LTTE in the country, Ayob Khan said: From what we can see, the pictures shown are LTTE images, this is not a matter of the Tamil rights struggle in Sri Lanka and so on, it is supporting and promoting the terrorist group.”

He reiterated that according to the laws of the country, the LTTE has been listed as a terrorist group since 2014, adding that it was also listed as a terrorist organisation in the United States, India and Sri Lanka.

Yesterday, seven individuals including the two state assemblymen from Melaka and Negeri Sembilan, were arrested in the operation carried out by Bukit Aman as they were suspected of promoting, supporting, possessing materials and channelling funds to the LTTE.

All of them were detained in operations around Selangor, Perak, Kedah, Negeri Sembilan, Melaka and Kuala Lumpur.

    Malaysian should ask Sri Lankan government to extradite Kumaran Padmanadan (KP) to Malaysia and persecute this cruel , dangerous criminal terrorist themselves, because his crimes were carried out from Malaysia and Thailand. There is no law and order in Sri Lanka to prosecute high level criminals. Malaysia should not hand over any terrorist to Sri Lanka.
    Singapore is a country build on money laundering, not on productivity of people. They have absorbed criminal thieves into their society from Indonesia, Malaysia and Sri Lanka. Money stolen form these countries are making Singapore proud.
    Every rich Indonesian , Malysian and many Sri lankans have a bank accounts in Singapore and travel there very often.

    Ceylon Thawheed Jamaath leader Abdul Razik says he will support so and so at the presidential election again.

    Is it Sajith? Is it Gota? Is it Anura?

    No surprise. Hope Sinhala voters take note, particularly Christians who suffered most.

    Where are the real patriots? Their silence is what destroys Sri Lanka.

  4. Randeniyage Says:

    @Dilrook
    Not only that Hizbulla too has stated although he is a separate candidate now, he would ask his supporter to support so and so.
    My fears I indicated for months coming real day by day. Sinhalya possibly destroying their last chance by getting fooled repeatedly.

  5. Dilrook Says:

    That is true.

    Both Hizbullah and Sivajilingam are pro-Rajapaksa politicians from 2005 on wards. It is well known.

    Recently SB said Hizbullah attracted foreign investments and built a good university!

    But Muslim and Tamil voters are cleverer than Sinhala voters. That is because Sinhala people are poorer than others per capita. They can be easily fooled.

    I fear for the economic safety of Sinhala people under a future regime.

    ”But Muslim and Tamil voters are cleverer than Sinhala voters. That is because Sinhala people are poorer than others per capita. They can be easily fooled. I fear for the economic safety of Sinhala people under a future regime.”

    This is absolutely TRUE. In their own country Sinhala people (inheritors of a mighty history and a glorious civilization) are poorer than others. Who are the ones mostly responsible for this? The SINHALA politicians…the SINHALA rulers.

    All these massive loans that make the Sinhala rulers ever richer, make the Sinhala people ever the poorer, while they make the ‘others’ ever the richer.

    This trend will NEVER be reversed.

    The poor can easily be fooled. Dangle carrots in front of their noses and they will run after it leaving their brains behind them. This is the history of post-independent Sri Lanka. Everything was conceived to make the minorities (Tamils and Muslims) the kings.

    The Sinhala rulers lead the Sinhala people by their noses while the minorities lead the rulers by their noses.

    The Sinhala is a lost cause. The writing on the wall was always ‘divided we fall’. But divided we remain. Why? for the rulers to reap bountiful harvests.

    Show the carrot and the Sinhala idiots will flock to it like rabbits. Show a drop of honey and the Sinhala fools will rush to it like bees.

    Just look at the parties vying for power. Just see how many parties DIVIDE the Sinhala. See the unity among the Tamils and the Muslims and the divisions among the Sinhala.

    The Sinhala are governed by their noses. The Tamils and Muslims are governed by brains.

    The ballot cannot save the Sinhala. I have constantly and unequivocally stated the ultimate saviour of the Sinhala is the BULLET. The ballot is toilet paper. The revolution must be outside the four corners of this anti-Sinhala constitution. The Bastille to be Stormed is the parliamentary complex of the Diyawanna Oya. It must be destroyed with all its inmates. Itmust be mercilessly brought to the ground and reduced to ashes.

    The new beginning must come from the embers of the ashes of the Diyawanna Oya Bastille.

    Sinhalayo: BOYCOTT these damned elections.

    Sinhalayo: do not flock to support parties. Let their venues reveal the emptiness and the void that is your lot.

    Sinhalayo: you are engulfed in gloom and doom. You are a lost cause.

    Read the prophetic lines of W.S.Senior: My cities are laid in ruins, their courts through the jungles spread. My scepter is long departed. AND THE STRANGER LORD INSTEAD.

    @Dilrook, Randeniyage and Mario Perera,

    You three remind me of the THREE WITCHES in Macbeth in you increasingly desperate ABSOLUTE FRENZY to demonize Gota and undermine the IMPENDING VICTORY of the Patriotic Sinhala people!

    Double, Double, Toil and Trouble: The Chant of the Three Witches

    Dilrook:
    Thrice the brinded cat hath mew’d.

    Randeniyage:
    Thrice and once the hedge-pig whined.

    Mario Perera:
    Harpier cries “‘Tis time, ’tis time.”

    Dilrook:
    Round about the cauldron go;
    In the poison’d entrails throw.
    Toad, that under cold stone
    Days and nights has thirty-one
    Swelter’d venom sleeping got,
    Boil thou first i’ the charmed pot.

    In Unison: Dilrook, Randeniyage and Mario Perera
    Double, double, toil and trouble;
    Fire burn, and cauldron bubble.

    @Ananda-USA

    I’m totally confused about this vital national security matter. Can you please shed some light.

    As things are now LTTE Karuna, LTTE Pilayan, CTJ Abdul Razik and NTJ Hizbulla support one candidate. Another politician whose relative was arrested abroad over terrorism charges is also supporting him. What is going on?

    Some of them have Sinhala innocents’ blood on their hands. Don’t they?

    I believe in forgiving of sins but Aranthalawa, Dalada Maligawa, calling Buddha a “human flesh eater”, etc., etc. are unpardonable.

    I’m really concerned about Sri Lanka’s national security and Sinhala people’s safety.

  11. Randeniyage Says:

    This is call TOTAL SURRENDER TO LORD. “National Security” will be lord’s wish.

  12. Ananda-USA Says:

    Here are the THREE WITCHES …. Chanting Again!

    @Dilrook,

    You well know that separating Karuna Amman from Prabhakaran was a MASTER STOKE by Gota that ENSURED the SUCCESS of subsequent military operations against Prabhakaran. Prabakaran lost his best figheters … those from the Eastern Province ,,, who decamped with Karuna Amman!

    It was DIVIDE & CONQUER, long practiced upon us Sri Lankans by enemy foreign powers, deployed AT ITS FINEST to defend and protect our hallowed Motherland!

    Sun Tsu (544-496 BC), author of the Art of War, would have been PROUD of Gota.

    But yet, here we have you, Dilrook, chastising Gota for it! NIT-PICKING at ITS FINEST, I would say!

    Chant on Dilrook …. “Double, double, toil and trouble; Fire burn, and cauldron bubble!”

  13. Ananda-USA Says:

    @Dilrook,

    Oh BTW, M L A M Hisbullah is a Presidential Candidate competing against Gota;

    Didn’t you know, Dear Dilrook?

    Chant on Dilrook …. “Double, double, toil and trouble; Fire burn, and cauldron bubble!”, it befits thee now!

  14. Ananda-USA Says:

    @Mario Perera from Kadawatha,

    There was Pohottuwa Rally in Kadawata yesterday; it was very well attended by the faitful of the Raja!

    You could have attended, at least as an active opponent throwing rotten eggs!

    BTW, are you ready to send me the 24 bottles of Australian wine you promised, for us to celebrate the VICTORY of the Patriots?

    Eh, maybe you were too busy otherwise with other “spirits” … Chanting at the Cauldron!

    Hey, Hey, Hey! Ho, Ho, Ho!

  16. Vaisrawana Says:

    @Anand-USA, thank you. It was delightful to read your literary comment. Your poetic creation, for me, is reminiscent of the art of that master of satire Alexander Pope of the first half of the 18th century. No doubt, the targets of your satire ought to be, or are already, worthy of your excellent parody of Shakespeare. It is natural that this haunted space brought to your mind the Witches on the Heath in Macbeth. However, instead of witches, I was reminded of the Furies of the The Oresteian Trilogy of the ancient Greek dramatist Aeschylus of the 6/5th century BCE. This is because, as you know, the Furies are goddesses of vengeance; but their name ‘Furies’ is, euphemistically or sarcastically, derived from the term ‘Eumenides’, which means the beneficent ones (spirits). Those that you are responding to are well meaning, too.

  17. Dilrook Says:

    @Ananda-USA

    I agree with you on the usefulness of those two during the war but a crime against Sri Lanka is a crime against Sri Lanka. That too such crimes as Aranthalawa, wiping off entire Sinhala villages in the East and the dastardly attack on Dalada Maligawa cannot be forgiven.

    Listen to SB. He says although so and so contests seperately, that is a strategy to push those votes to SLPP.

    The other group holds a grudge against this regime for banning them as a terrorist group. That is why they support.

    My point is this.

    These people have no votes more than 10,000. Why pollute SLPP’s patriotic credentials just for 10,000 votes? It is not worth it and puts national security in danger.

    You may notice that I have no problem with the EPDP. They too did crimes. But not against Sri Lanka’s national security.

    Don’t say yes to everything your party does. You should be able to disagree safely and get them to change their course so that national security and the safety of Sinhala people are not compromised. In 2015, people rejected the elements around Rajapaksas more than rejecting Rajapaksas. Why do it again?
