The completed city will have reclaimed 269 hectares with 116 hectares being handed over to China Communications Construction Company (CCCC), which is the parent company of China Harbour Engineering Company (CHEC). The remaining land, which will be owned by the Sri Lankan Government and will be divided with 62 hectares to be used to set up a financial city and 91 hectares to be used as public spaces.
නිම කරන ලද නගරය හෙක්ටයාර 269 ක් ගොඩකර ඇති අතර හෙක්ටයාර 116 ක් චයිනා වරාය ඉංජිනේරු සමාගමේ (චෙක්) මව් සමාගම වන චයිනා සන්නිවේදන ඉදිකිරීම් සමාගමට (සීසීසීසී) භාර දෙනු ඇත. ඉතිරි ඉඩම ශ්රී ලංකා රජයට අයත් වන අතර මූල්ය නගරයක් පිහිටුවීම සඳහා හෙක්ටයාර් 62 ක් හා පොදු ස්ථාන ලෙස හෙක්ටයාර් 91 ක් බෙදා වෙන් කෙරේ.

Why can’t they have the 269 hectares in land and for what reason but to put the country in to debit. They could jolly well use Hambanthothata port and the Mattala Airport which is white elephant.
