SRI LANKA WHO IS IN CONTROL

By Subra S. Massey

I read this morning about the blast at the Norwegian Embassy. Has your country gone to dogs? I don't see there is a geniune effort for peace and freedom for people being made. All this action is going to do is to turn the world away from the plea by the sinhalese. If any one is seriously interested in peace and freedom this would not have happended.
I firmly now believe that the Sinhalese want the Tamils to leave the country. That is exactly what we are doing. We will split the country and we live on our own and you live on your own. I don't see why that is a problem for the Sinhalese. You neither want us in the country nor you want us to have a freedom. You have to make a choice. This concept of Sinhalese and Tamil does not make any sense in the modern world when Time and Money has effectively replaced Religion and Race.

May be we are so backward that we don't understand Democracy and the Concept of social contarct.May be we are not used to freedom but to oppression. This is quite natural for Tribal people. They cannot comprehend beyond their immediate blood relatives. This is particularly true for Africa and parts of Asia. The modern world sucg\h as USA has the capacity to integrate all races together because of their advanced level mind evolution. The only unifying force economics. It does not matter who you are as long as you strive hard and produce goods and services for the benifit of others. Look at your country sacrificing young people for the ego emancipation of a few. That is not right. The political will must come from the strong towards the weak to allagamate all races into a free nation. Till that resolve is made and accepted by the majority thsi war will continue and we will continue to support. I have a moral obligation to even though it may be against the law. The law is to protect me and others when it does not I have the divine right to protect me even it may be aginst the written law. This law is above all laws. That is the power of clear conscience. The countries that we live are so free and democratic that every one has the right to life and to protect the lives of others.
Your country has a problem in the international arena for your convictions do not hold ground aginst the beliefs of the larger world population. I am A SrI Lankan, left the country in 1977, but constantly supported the freedom of people. It does not matter who he or she may be. My best of friends are form the south, my father spoke good sinhalese and did lots of business in Colombo but that was then when we were bothers and sisters. now we are feuding enemies. Why all this now? for the last 40 years. You should visut our facilities in Canada, world class business operations exporting to Japan, USA and EU. We would have turned your country to a gold mine. What is wrong with you people? I am yet to see a Sinhalese die for the freedom of its people. They are willing to die for a unjust cause. Sad isn't it? We will all be ashamed of action when this war is over. It will be soon!
