National Unity-Call Of The Hour

As the death toll rises and people found alive in the debris, United State
of America, as a entire Nation has Declared War on Global Terrorism.
Democrats, Republicans and all religious faiths have rallied round the
President to give him unstinted support in his Battle Cry.

Could we expect the same support to come by to our President in our little
country? The Tamil Tiger Terrorist have been waging Bloody Terrorism for 18
long years and continue to do so. Over 60,000 lives have been lost and many
more innocent lives will be lost. What have our Political Parties, Their
leaders, Leaders of various Buddhist, Christian, Islam, Hindu and other
faiths, done collectively to Fight the Tamil Tiger Terrorist and end this
protracted Terrorism ? Nothing is the answer. Either collectively or
individually, they are concerned only of their vested interests. The recent
Horse Trading is a Classic Example as to how low our politicians are willing
to stoop to, either to be in power or to come to power

Gone are the days when we had Gentlemen Politicians. Except for a very few,
the currant politicians are no better than street hooligans. If we as a
nation can unite together at the Call of This Hour for National Unity, The
Tamil Tiger Terrorist will be eliminated in a very short period of time.
Failing to do so will only help the Terrorists to continue their terrorism
and bleed our country to death. Is this what the Politicians and Religious
Heads want?
