While agreeing with you and Izeth Husein that the ground situation in Sri Lanka is "terminal", and that even writing articles or commenting on them sometimes seems a waste of time, we cannot kept quiet when a band of proven murderers and terrorists who may one day take over the whole of Sri Lanka are called a "Liberation Movement".

At that time, many called Hitler's Third Reich a Liberation Movement, and many were mesmerized by his initial winning streak, so much so that entire countries like Italy and Japan backed him.

Those countries thought like Izeth Hussein in terms of the "situation" and felt the "situation" will surely lead to the conquest of the world by Hitler. But there is another force in operation which has been spelt out in all the religions.

That is the power of Truth or God whatever name that is given. In the end when it appears every thing is hopeless It steps in.

That is how the wheel of Dharma caught up with Hitler and he was eliminated, at huge costs to the whole world. Cannot we learn from history, or is history not taught in Sri Lanka's schools ?

The same thing will happen to Prabahakaran because nothing can be built on a foundation of untruth. At least, let us not be stupid enough to call the LTTE a "Liberation Movement", for it has gone on record as a massive killing machine, not a life supportive one.

Try to "nip the problem in the bud" please without putting fertilizer on the killer plant.
