UNP grieves for Prabhakaran - their partner in Betrayal Sri Lanka
programme.

The rebellion staged by Karuna Amman against the tyrant, autocratic,
fascist oppression of megalomaniac mass murderer Prabhakaran is a
welcome sign need to be appreciated by any and all patriotic, peace
loving citizens of Sri Lanka. It is a clear sign that the terrorist
outfit LTTE which was hailed by the anti-national UNP regime as the
sole-representative of the Tamil population and spent billions of
rupees to promote them and help them gain international recognition,
had deprived and suppressed their own community. In the meantime, the
current uprising in the East had become a major grief for the power
hungry UNP hierarchy. It is utterly shameful to find that G.L.Peiris
who functioned as the chief representative of the Sri Lankan
government in the so-called peace talks (piece talks) and now
functions as the chief spokesman of the government addressing a press
conference had urged everyone to be patient and not help in any form
to get this dispute escalated. He has whol
eheartedly wished for a lasting and speedy solution to the crisis, in
another way for the death of Karuna and re-emergence of the
megalamaniac Prabhakaran as the undisputed leader.

This statement itself is clear evidence as to whom he represented at
the so-called international Nadagams held under the misleading placard
of peace talks. This tongue twister should be held responsible as a
prime traitor of the gang accountable for the BETRAYAL SRI LANKA this
nation underwent during the last two years. The nation suffered
untold misery during the two years of Betrayal Sri Lanka, and only
Prabhakaran’s gang in the North can claim to have benefited other than
the Ministers and their cronies. Majority of the unprecedented 42
foreign trips Mr. Ranil Wickremasinghe (RATA WICKUNAPUSINGHE)
undertook during the two years of Betrayal of Sri Lanka were either to
promote or whitewash the LTTE gang. If the President did not utilize
her Executive Powers and took over the 3 key Ministries just 3 days
after the Prabhakaran’s gang submitted the Bifurcation Sri Lanka Plan
by now steps would have been taken, with the complete backing of the
anti-Buddhist western powers
and the anti-national NGO hordes to implement the plan with a huge
propaganda flurry of justification.

It is even unimaginable the plight awaited for the Eastern Province
Sinhala and Muslim population if the timely takeover of key Ministries
and the proclamation of election did not take place and the programme
of Betrayal Sri Lanka was allowed to function any further. Widest
publicity should be given to the autocratic suppression of Eastern
province Tamils by the Prabhakaran gang, the myth of their peace
loving mass, the bogus claim of being sole representative of Tamils,
and the inevitable threat they pose for the non-Tamil communities.
This task in fact is the prime responsibility of the media
organizations and the Sri Lankan journalists. Unfortunately the Sri
Lankan media organizations which are either controlled or owned by the
family members and barons of the leading personalities of the Betrayal
of Sri Lanka programme, paying only lip-service to press and media
freedom, have completely neglected this responsibility and instead are
ceaselessly labouring in misrepresen
tation of facts and trumpeting false propaganda in a massive bid to
reinstate the anti-national traitors, even by dismissing patriotic
editorial staff from their jobs.
