It is now very clear from the response and statement issued from Mahanayake Theros; of the powerful Malwatte and Asgiriya Chapters. The opinion Poll too in the Lankaweb indicate that over 70% people reject the participation of Mahasangha in Political competition.

Now that every one discusses in Sri Lanka and overseas this is a treacherous conspiracy against the Sinhalese and Buddhism itself by Anti Sinhalese and Buddhist forces who financed the SU/HJU and it's sole owner Tilak Karunaratne to drag a section of Buddhist monks to be used as Cats Paw, to satisfy the whims of Anti Buddhist, Anti Sinhalese Forces who are waiting for the opportune moment to tell the world that Buddhists and Sinhalese are racist, aggressive, and authoritarian against other ethnicities.

Sinhala Buddhists lived over centuries in religious harmony with Hindus, Christians, Muslims and as well as Ethnicities of Tamils, Muslims, Burgers etc. whatever the outcome and atrocities committed by Portuguese, Dutch and English colonial rules, but at least at the 20th century we became a Multi Religious and Multi Ethnic Society. Deviating from this phenomenon we will go back to barbarian era, and provide opportunity for real Anti Buddhist and Anti Sinhalese forces to criticise we Sinhalese and Buddhists as racist aggressive community.

Should in any event if Bhikkus who contests from SU/HJU win the election what is going to happen ? Are they going to ban all other religions and suppress other Ethnicities? What sort of acts are they proposing to impalement to make the Buddhism and Sinhalese as commanding force? Are they going to eliminate all other religions and ethnicities?

Then what will the other people of different beliefs and ethnicities will do, can we deny that this will be the start of another dark period of the Sri Lankan history ? The good image of Simnhalese Buddhists that was tarnished in 1983 due to the UNP conspiracy of attacking Tamils in a calculated and well planned manner which they later blamed on innocent JVP to wash the dirty hands of UNP, is still being echoed and prevails in the international scene. Most people in Europe still blame Buddhist people as Barbarians who attacked, killed Tamils and looted their properties which paved the way over years for the LTTE to gain international sympathy and today they have grown to such level that it is a national threat.

The aftermath of the election, whether Bhikkus of SU/HJU wins or not, will create anti religious and anti Ethnic conflicts that will develop of course with the advocacy of UNP who will definitely be defeated despite all nasty acts they are committing to stay in power, so that even though the new Alliance of SLFP/JVP coming to power would not allowed to implement their agenda as planned, the disgruntled UNP will fuel by the use of Bhikkus who are SU/SHJ Cats Paws to create disharmony within the society. Not only that UNP is famous for such conspiracies, that they could even go the extent and employ their own thugs to attack Buddhist temples or vice versa on other places of worships, so that it will create a heat and all communities will be driven in to the fray by themselves.

If that happens, it would not take much time for the anti Buddhist and Sinhala forces to create situations within by use of their financial power with the help of UNP, all Buddhist Temples, places of worships, Our invaluable Historic sites and so on would be levelled and destroyed to the extent with no traces left. The disasters are very imminent if such an environment is created specially when the UNP is defeated they will use all their tactics to utilize Sinhala and Buddhism issue to kill it itself and to clinch for power.

The public in Sri Lanka should be very careful in this election and when voting, they should have a fore vision to decide, specially Sinhala Buddhist people. Simple mistake of theirs will be the start of the end of Sinhalese and Buddhism in Sri Lanka. Not only that the Sinhala Buddhists must understand that Bhikkus of SU/HJU is financed by Pro-UNP Business people mostly engaged in various illegal and anti National, un ethical business or involved in huge corruptions that brought the Sri Lanka to one of the most indebted countries in the world to the WB and IMF.

The writer him self does not agree that the LTTE is not the sole representation of the Tamil people of Sri Lanka nor deny that they should be crushed militarily before any negotiation begins with Tamil community. There is no Ethnic conflict as such in Sri Lanka as Puppet Politicians who are controlled by Western Imperialism and Western Imperialism itself intreprets, but there is only Terrorism and Anarchy of the LTTE that even surpasses the will and democratic rights of Tamils. So there is actually nothing special to negotiate with Tamils for a peace in general, did we ever hated or attacked a tamil in a Sinhala area on ethnic grounds? majority of Tamils are now living in Colombo and Subusrbs in fear of LTTE and they live with or within the houses beloned to Sinhalese, now we are infact protecting them against LTTE!

Sinhalese, Tamil or Muslims, all ordinary and poor in Sri Lanka today are facing a grave danger in huge debts towards IMF and WB and Western Imperialism that tries to grab us to make their playground and market for their fancies an whims, so together all Patriotic Nationalistic, Sinhalese, Tamils, Muslims and whoever should defeat the Common Enemy the anti Progressive, Capitalists UNP and Western Imperialistic force acting on our soil.

For decades and centuries, they extracted our blood, and today even the unborn child is indebted to the WB and IMF, regardless of Sinhala, Tamil or Muslim. More we beg for WB and IMF funds to eat, drink and live by selling our valuable resources, destroying our culture, human values etc. we bring in all those germs in to the society that creates disharmony amongst it's people, and this is how Imperialistic people govern countries with the famous tactic " Divide and Rule" We are living in a deception imposed on us by Western Imperials.

Use your vote to establish a Nationalistic Country and make it free of Western Germs of Anti Ethnicity. The Terrorism is also another Germ made by Western Imperialism and their hegemony to impose their own conditions in to other independent and secular nations ( i.e. US invasion of Iraq, regardless of Sadam Hussein was bad it is none of US or British business to change regime, it is Iraqi people's problem)

Finally, may we ask our selves as Sinhala Buddhists;

* Shall we practice our solidarity and harmony towards other Ethnicities without engaging in anti Ethnic practice from now on ?

* Shall we practice Lord Buddha's theory of respecting other Religions and beliefs first before we propagate Buddhism ?

* Shall we demonstrate to the international community that we Sinhalese Buddhist are the most compassionate towards all other human kinds, regardless of cast, creed, colour, ethnicity etc. and teach a lesson to the world that Buddhism is above all ?

* Shall we not allow a handful of disgruntled people to make use of Bhikkus as cats paw to satisfy their fancies and whims for their personal gains ?

The Bhikkus participating in SU/HJU election competition, those other Bhikkus and laity who support is are the people who will be totally responsible for the whole mess they are about to create in our Society, against Sinhalese, Against Buddhists and a total disaster in our near future.

Should that happens the future generation in Sri Lanka would appeal for Thunders without rain upon those forefather who did it making the entire Sri Lanka another Israel !

May all civilized, wise, Sri Lankans regardless of Sinhala, Tamil, Muslim exercise their vote intelligently and advise less educated to do so.

Dear all ordinary, brothers and Sisters of Tamil, Muslim, Burgher,Hindus, Chritians and Muslims, please be not provoked and motivated aganist Sinhala Buddhist just becasue of a handfull of Buddhist Bhikkus who has taken an aggressive path due to lack of fore sight and being tactically taken as cats paws by anti nationalistic and anti Buddhist forces, please use your vote in harmony with rest of the ordinary sinhalese to defeat the common enemy UNP/UNF.

* May Sri Lanka be free of Westerns Imperialistic Interferences !

* May Sri Lanka be another Exemplary state to the whole world !

* May Sri Lanka be prosperous island where all Ethnicities and Religious communities will have at least good living conditions without being exploited !
