MISSING DUTCH TOURISTS

Thanks for all the efforts you make for others and us overhere in The Netherlands. I would like to know if there is anything new known about the situation of our parents in or around mirissa. I send you also some information and two pictures of them. Maybe these can be posted on websites or maybe buildings or embassies. Maybe they are in a hospital,wounded or helping out. We would like to know were they are or went to according to transports out of Mirissa to Colombo and the Udawalawe district. All the information about them or whereabouts or situation in and near Mirissa is welcome.

They were at Mirissa on saturday where they stayed and snorkled in the sea. We think they stayed in a hotel because their last mail stated that they were staying in a little hotel with a balcony with a view on the sea. We don't know which hotel exactly. After that we never heard from them again.

They both wear weddingrings with the following inscriptions:
mothers ring; Jan-Willem 20-12-1969
fathers ring; Anne 20-12-1969
