War isnot an option

Dear Sir,

I am, pleased to read that Mr. S. P. Thamilchelvan claiming that 'War is not an option' this is a good sign and it should encourage all parties to get around the negotiation table.

The task at hand is to negotiate a proper devolution of power for the whole Country and a Bill of Rights for all our citizens.

Through negotiation get to the root causes of our problem that has bedevilled our Country since Independence.

This is an opportunity we should not miss and if we are honest and sincere in our efforts, we can surmount the obstacles and silence those who have opposed dialogue.

The sooner we restart the process the better for all Sri Lankan's.
