Credit where Credit is Due!

Thank you Mr. Dissanayake! You beat me to it! Certainly President Mahinda Rajapaksa deserves credit for the recent actions against the Tamil Terrorists by granting the whip to the SLDF and the Police.

You also made a valid point, "Making as fewer public speeches as possible, is also great quality of the New President."

On a different note, may I bring to the attention of the powers be in SLG, the continuing cancer of Bribery & Corruption in private secor as well as in government.

It has come to our attention that several persons engaged in the submission of tenders for certain Public Sector infrastructure development programmes, funded by foreign and international agencies, are soliciting between 5-10% commissions, allegedly demanded by the Tender Board decision makers in the Public Sector.

Since no receipts are generally given by the Bribe takers, the flow of funds may not be traced, and possibly come to a halt in a foregn bank account.

Hopefully, President MR decides to take considered actions and sets an example on those who are involved in this criminal racket.

And Credit shall remain where it should be!
