LTTE terrorists kill four Sinhalese villages- AmparaIn its latest campaign of ethnic cleansing in the eastern province, the LTTE terrorists brutally killed four Sinhalese villages at Bakmitiyawa in Ampara today (Monday the 1st of January). The police sources said, two bodies of an elderly couple were initially found with gunshot injuries around 8.45 this morning close to No-3 stream at Bakmitiyawa. The victims were identified as Mr. M. Banda aged 52 years, and his wife Mrs. P.Mallika aged 43 years, both were residents in the Bakmitiyawa ancient Sinhalese village. The elderly couple were killed while they were going to visit one of their children's places for the New Year. Later, another elderly couple was gunned down by the LTTE terrorists in the same area while they were going to the stream. The victims, Mr. Sudu Banda aged 70 years and Mrs. Kusumawathi aged 55 years were found dead with gun shot injuries around 2 this afternoon. Meanwhile, another 18 year old student from the village is reported missing. The missing person, Mr. M. Dayananda who had gone to the same area of the earlier killings, to visit one of his friends has not yet returned, the police sources said. The LTTE has been fighting for an ethnically pure homeland for Tamils in Sri Lanka since 1983. In its struggle, the LTTE has been progressively engaged in a brutal campaign of ethnic cleansing to flush out both Sinhalese and Muslims from their ancient villages in the North and East provinces. Thousands of innocent civilians were killed by the LTTE terrorists using the most horrifying methods of terrorism, in which armed gangs raided villages in the night, raped and hacked women and children, including the pregnant, and tortured all men to death. The LTTE could successfully flush out all Sinhalese and Muslims form the Northern Province by early 90s and had a great success in doing so to Eastern province since it started loosing power in the east following the emergence of the breakaway Karuna faction. However, due to the false propaganda of the LTTE its crimes against the humanity has been unnoticed to the world until recently, though its brutal methods of terrorism has been widely adapted by other terror outfits around the globe.
