Sri Lanka Signed a MOU with the Israel for Tourism

Sri Lanka signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Israeli government with a view to explore the possibility of initiating a joint collaboration for the development of the tourism sector in both countries.


This joint collaboration is a result of Tourism Minister Milinda Moragoda's visit to Israel last week with several top officials of Sri Lanka Tourist Board. Ministry of Tourism identified Israel as a country where there is tremendous potential for tourism. Under the MoU, the two governments will also be considering an exchange of tourists. The pitcher show Tourism Minister Milinda Moragoda Shake hands with Israeli Tourism Minister Yitzhak Aharovitch whilst exchanging the MOU signed for cooperation in the tourism sector.
