The Closer Murali Gets To Warne's
Record The Louder The Rantings About His Action!

Now that the Australian media as well as Mr Shane Warne have become
aware of thr stark reality that Muttiah Muralidaran, Sri Lanka's and
soon to be the World's Greatest Bowler is about to take charge the bellyaching
about Murali's action has once again begun to surface and shamefully
so. Nothing becomes more obvious than the chagrin facing the Anti Murali
Brigade which surfaces so visibly through the words and attitude of
Shane Warne and his cohorts who seem to be making asses of themselves
in the eyes of the cricketing public around the world in attempting
to discredit Murali by once again pointing to an assumed illegal bowling
action calling for further testing.
Any indiscretions on the part of Murali by way of his bowling action
it is commonly known as well as being proven beyond reasonable doubt
are non existent where most batsmen simply have no answer to his guile
and deception when he bowls and its as simple as that!
That Shane Warne and his Australian cronies appear to be currently spearheading
a smear campaign against Murali all over again by calling for another
testing of his bowling action merely points to the bad loser mentality
in them and shows them in very poor light as far as decorums go in the
game of cricket which is supposed to be gentlemanly rather than one
displaying "a dog eat dog at any cost" mentality and about
time they were cautioned, berated and the realities set in place if
necessary towards permanently doing away with all the needless unjustified
incarceration poor Murali seems to have accepted as a fact of life as
he deserves much better and his tormenters probably very deserving of
a figurative kick up their derrieres!
It has to be accepted and reconciled with towards posterity that Murali's
action was a non issue of the past made into one which was scientifically,
objectively and legally settled and ratified by the ICC so why dig it
up all over again ?if not for the disgruntlements and bad loser mentalities
which somehow always seem to prevail in Australian cricket where
Shane Warne is no exception while he pretends to be a class act which
many disagree that he really is as he has been caught with his pants
down on many an occassion and his image restricted to the playing field
perhaps and even that smatteringly to the closer observers!
It must also be borne in mind that just because statistically the Aussies
are currently the best team in the world, it does not grant them or
anyone Carte Blanche to walk all over the rest of the cricketing nations
or attempt to humiliate through innuendo and speculative unprovable
theories bordering on cheap sensationalism which only add to the lessening
of their esteem in the eyes of those who view their antics and at times
wonder why they cannot be content with their current status and let
bygones be bygones especially in the case of Murali!
Coining a popular Aussie expression to moot it will surely be "Fair
Dinkum" if the 'Roos were cornered and chewed up in their own neck
of the woods around Hobart, Tasmania with Murali leading the charge
and the " former Blue Eyed Boy Of Aussie spin bowling" Shane
Warne's record shattered in front of his own adoring audiences failing
which Murali has all the time in the world towards the task in the not
too distant future in the Lions' own den!
What's comforting about it from a Sri Lankan standpoint as well as the
integrities relative to the Gentlemen;s Game is that despite the rantings
and ravings about Murali's action whether they come from Warne, his
fans or the Aussie Media and perpetrated by a bunch of sore losers it
still remains a closed matter and there will be precious little his
antagoinists would be able to do about it beyond their 'hooing and haaing!'
assuming that the ICC's decision on the matter has been signed sealed
and delivered!
