SLAF fighters destroy an LTTE logistic facility - Mullaittivu

The SLAF MiG and K'fir fighter jets pounded on an LTTE logistic facility south of Puthukkudiyiruppu, in the Mullaittivu District, with precision air strikes on Wednesday the 30th of May, at 12.30p.m.

According to available information the LTTE logistic facility was destroyed into rubbles, causing maximum damages to the terrorists. The air raid was conducted on accurate aerial reconnaissance information, an air force official said.

Terrorist casualty figure are not available at the moment.

Puthukkudiyiruppu is located north west of Mullaittivu.
