The untouchables
DIALOGUE WITH BHAGWAN

BY: PREM RAJ

"BHAGWAN!!!

O, Lord! I have brought my heart in the cup of my palms & have come to shower these roses to touch your stunning beautiful feet", said Shardha, in the melancholy tone, while lowering herself before the statue of Bhagwan erected in the centre of a temple, made of katcha bricks & the hay stacked roof, only meant for the lower castes people to worship.

As she got close to the feet & was near to touch them, the statue shirked to the right or left.
"Why do you swerve when I am close to touch your lily like feet, my Lord?" Asked Shardha, gripped with the feelings of despair while forcing her tears to wait in the winking eyes.
"Because you are shoddy, you are impure, you are inferior, you are black & last but not the least, you are the untouchable, how dare you touch my feet which hang in the heaven & the cool breeze kisses while passing near them", the voice ruffled in the hall.

Shardha, broke in to tears, which rolled through her cheeks & fell upon the surface of the earth to make it wet.

"Are you the Creator of this Universe?" She asked in mere disappointment!

"Yes I am"! Came the voice.

"That means you create the unequals, you being Bhagwan are prejudice to reward your blessings on cruels & limitless atrocities are harnessed to languish the poor, but why?" Spoke Shardha in a painful voice which reflected the picture of centuries old sufferings being borne by the lower castes people, who have no dignity, no respect. They are compelled to eat rats and human faeces. They are not allowed to work in the day light so that the shadow of untouchables must not fall upon the upper castes people. Simply the sight of depressed class person is a bad omen for the Brahmins.

The girls of Dalits are paraded nude in the streets & gang raped by the so called nobles. Being born in India is a great curse where the gross oppression of the largest minority (over 150 million people) through a 3,000 year history of slavery, apartheid & worse have continuously shackled us. Mahatma Gandhi also advocated assimilating untouchables in to the lowest Hindu caste, rather than giving the status of a human being or enjoying the equal rights as citizens of a country.

So disgusted was Dr. Ambedkar, father of the Indian Constitution that he found peace & solace in embracing Buddhism instead of sticking on to the religion which had no place for the Outcastes people. India is a claimant of Secularism but has deep rooted history of hypocrisy, to which the elite class is influenced by the doctrine of Nazism. What to talk of anything else, Mr. Gandhi himself refused to sit equal to Dr. Ambedkar, Shardha spoke to herself in a soliloquy.

"Well, if we are not treated equals, then my Lord you also had no place in the aristocratic temple where virgins sing melodious hymns& where the sacred bells ring beautifully. There the aromatic liquids are sprayed which intoxicate the atmosphere. Where the higher castes girls clad in colours dance like fairies on the marble flooring & swing their arms like the wings of butterflies, said Shardha sarcastically. Isn't it that we both have the same fate of being ousted from the balance of equality?" Shardha asked a question which touched the soul of Bhagwan.

"No, absolutely not, I being creator carve the luck lines of all the beings & how silly it is to inquire, Bhagwan sharing the same fate that too with the untouchable", the voice was filled with anger & annoyance.

"O, Lord! The people who are deprived of bit of a land which would give them dignity, honour & free them from slavery, don't have that much a right in your universe to own a piece of earth?", asked Shardha.

"You being Maleach are the black scar on humanity, more over you are a big blunder in this universe & you talk about the equal rights", came the thundering voice.

"Are we worst than Monkeys, Cows & Snakes?" Inquired, Shardha.

"Of course you are the worst, because Hanuman Ji, the sacred Cow & Maharaj Snake carry the attributes of Bhagwan, that's the reason Muslims are hated in Hinduism due to their act of slaughtering the sacred Cow, so they as well, stand equal to you being untouchables", spoke Bhagwan with firmness & logic.

Shardha knelt down and wept bitterly. "Do you know how much wrath I carry inside the balls of my eyes, when the wall of my nose falls & the two balls freely strike with each other, then these will give rise to a fire which will burn everything in the universe, including You my Lord", said Shardha confidently with full of hate, venom & despair.

………………………………………………….. Shardha noticed a lump of light in place of the statue now talking to her directly, in a peaceful manner…..
……… "Look my daughter! Never weep on your sufferings. I know the cruelties have touched the skies & you are the victim of massive injustices while facing crushing oppression, but this is never from Bhagwan.

A human being is trying hard to make other a slave & powerful countries having no respect for the human laws, destroy them like Iraq, Bosnia, Kashmir, Bangladesh, Afghanistan & the refugees of Bhutan being kicked out of their lovelorn country for no fault of them. But this all is happening against the laws of Nature, so ultimately would destroy themselves.

Whatever you spoke & heard before was your own volcano of quell & sufferings of beautiful people like you.

Bhagwan considers each one equal & justice is one of its attributes. You all were born equal & who so ever shows indifferent attitude, you must stand against that & remain steadfast.

No one is superior to anyone except in virtues & good deeds. You have to get united to break the shackles of slavery & avenge the usurper.

Inspire yourself because Bhagwan is the name of Beauty, Love & Peace".

"My lass", came the voice, "Bhagwan awaits the day, when your eye balls strike with each other".
The light vanished.

The smile ran across the face of Shardha, who lowered the roses & touched the milky feet.
"You are not the UNTOUCHABLE", came the voice.
