NIYAMA ATTHA CONFIRMS SENCHOLAI WAS A TERRORIST MILITARY TRAINING CAMP.

A.A.M.NIZAM MATARA.

The terrorist servile Ranil Wickremasinghe in the recent past was afflicted with an acute syndrome called “Gotabhaya Phobia” and this made Ranil and his ignoramus cohorts to mouth even in the sleep condemnation of Sri Lanka’s best Defense Secretary Mr. Gotabhaya Rajapakse and call for his resignation. This self-styled mania started following the unsuccessful terrorist bid to murder the Defense Secretary at the Kollupitiya Pittala Handiya. Ranil and his ignoramus cohorts were highly critical and derogatory of every move made by Mr. Gotabhaya for the betterment of the country and against the terrorists and their mercenary dingoes who are committed to destroy this country, militarily, economically and politically. Dedicated to implement the agenda and the objectives of the terrorists these rogue elements made a hue and cry to twist, distort, misrepresent or feign everything and project the security forces, and the government as a gang of inhuman, merciless barbarians on a genocidal warpath against the Tamils. One incident these treacherous elements used to magnify, blow up and indict the govrnment and the security forces on a worldwide scale was the event relating to the air-raid on the Terrorist Training Camp at Sencholai in the Mullaitivu District. Dispelling all accusations made against the government on this incident, the latest UTHR Report No. 46 has come out with the Niyama Attha disclosing that the Camp in fact was a Military Training Camp of the terrorist outfit.

The security forces made strong claims that the air raids were carried out based on careful aerial surveillance, and credible ground intelligence and provided clear photographs of the camp itself and the surrounding area to convince this fact. The video footage released to the media by the Government showed boundary walls, deep trenches, mounds an ammo dump in addition to some buildings and uniformed LTTE combatants fleeing. Despite these hard facts the terrorist outfit, the UNP and the pro-terrorist NGO and Media gangs launched a scathing attack on the security forces and the government to project the incident as a deliberate cold-blooded inhumane murder that killed 61 and injured another 129 school children whom they claimed were attending a seminar on First Aid.

Similar to what Ranil Wickremasinghe and his ignoramus cohorts are doing today to stop the war and help the terrorists, the UNP took the lead then to utilise the air raid incident to demand an inquiry, claiming it as an attack on school children. The UNP leadership made this appeal despite the fact that the air raid had taken place between 6.45 and 7;00 a.m. and nowhere in Sri Lanka have schools functioning at 7 in the morning. This appeal was made by the UNP, as a well designed strategy to help the terrorists for internationalising the situation and build up an international uproar to halt air attacks on military installations of the terrorists. Rag sheets financed by the terrorists and media barons joined this outcry with loathsome captions such as “aerial terror unleased on innocent children”etc Anti-government and pro-terrorist electronic media too gave wide publicity displaying lines of dead bodies and hospitalised injured in gruesome postures.

It was also a god given opportunity to peace merchants majority of whom are “Born Sinhala Tigers” enjoying a heavenly existence in the Colombo and its suburbs to castigate the Government and the Security forces and depict the terrorists as a group of saints facing genocide in the hands of the Sri Lankan Government and thereby justify their existence and ensure the continuance of flow of funds to their activities from terrorist and foreign sources. For weeks they spinned and twisted the event to supply concocted stories to the international media.

The terrorist website Nitharsanam.com still carries the photographs of these forcibly recruited child terrorists under the caption “Children killed by Sri Lanka’s State Terror” in a bid to earn international sympathy and as a propaganda stunt to defame the government. Similarly on the day of the incident, 14th August 2006, terrorist websites the world over made a hey day by publishing photographs showing dead bodies, some mutilated, and some others receiving treatment in hospitals together with distorted, inciting and provocative news reports in a deliberate bid to garner maximum advantage for the terrorists from the incident.

The Head of the pro-terrorist Sri Lanka Monistoring Mission Ulf Henricsson, despite the fact that they were barred from visiting areas in Kilinochchi and Mullaitivu Districts, as these two districts in toto had been gifted to the terrorists under Ranil Wickremasinghe’s notorious CFA, without any credible evidenc, probably based on heresay accounts from the terrorists, in a blatant move to strengthen the UNP and terrorist claims pronounced that Sencholai was not a military training camp. Henricsson was also joined pro-terrorist UNICEF local representatives, some of whom have even been found smuggling arms and military material to the terrorist outfit.

In the de facto “Tamil Homeland” Tamil Nadu the incident was immensely blown up out of proportion and the racist politicians competed with each other to get political advantage to their chauvinist parties by presenting themselves as the highly critical group of the event.

The Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly passed a resultion condemning the death and observed a two minutes silience in condolence of the dead. The notoriuous anti-Sri Lankan Chief Minister of the Tamil Nadu M.Karunanidhi vehemently condemned the incident and said that "There should be a full stop to such incidents which cannot be forgiven...”. Leaders of almost all the racist parties and even the representatives of the Congress strongly condemned the incident as, “uncivilised, inhumane, atrocious, gruesome, brutal”and so on. The popular Sun TV, Jeya TV, and numers other Tamil TV channels in Tamil Nadu gavee wide coverage to the event with display of provocative photographs and pictured the Sri Lankan Government as extremely anti-Tamil. Even now the Tamil TV Channels continue to refer to this incident branding it as the notorious murder of the young Tamil Buds (Pottus).

The periodical reports of the University Teachers for Human Rights (Jaffna), a foreign funded voluntary orgaisation provide an insight to the slavish life and atrocities prevalent in the terrorist occupied areas, albeit with a tinge of bias towards terrorists. In its latest release, Report No. 46 dated 8th July, 2008 the report citing information received from the residents confirm that the girls who got killed and injured by the air raids “ were forcibly taken by the LTTE and the training was of a military nature.” .

Although this revelation has falsified the worldwide misinformation carried out against the government, it cannot easily repair the damage caused to the integrity and credibility of the country by the treacherous vexed interests for assist and help the terrorist outfit.

In view of the above, the government and the patriotic media institutions must make every effort to give wides possible coverage to this revelation and to clear the awful image made to the country and its gallat security forces by the treacherous elements utilising the Sencholai event. The truth revealed by the UTHR, although after a long period of two years, confirms the sagacity of the old adage that Satyaya Kisida Wasankara Noheka (The truth can never be hidden).
