Did the "Oili-garchs" & OPEC Cartel Fund Hamas rocket launching against Israel?

August 2008 the price of a barrel of oil exceeded US$ 160-; and rising. The pundits forecast an unbelievable rise upto and perhaps over US$ 200-; a barrel!
The optimists, including Sri Lankan buffs, went on a gamble on futures and plunged several economies into an unbelievable economic crisis!

Whilst the world drenched in fear, the economic crisis building up, the oil prices suddenly collapsed to a low US$ 40-; and below.

This was a rude awakening to the smiling oil barons in OPEC and the Russians. The richest Russian Oligarch Oleg Deripaska almost losing his trousers, Vladimir Putin started to soft peddle on his next adventure of an early Presidential election. The slump was a shock.

Suddenly the Hamas-Israeli restrain turned the downside up and the rockets began to fly!

Another flare-up in the Middle East along with the cut back in oil production (now in force) would take care of the slump in oil prices. An embargo would certainly increase the global oil prices.

Furthermore, pending elections in Israel would give the Israeli political parties scrambling for an opportunity to "make hay" during an innocent blood letting spree.

Hamas never anticipated Israel to react with speed with such a splurge with the mighty Israeli Defence Forces launching an attack, specially before the US Presidential inauguration.

President-elect Barack Obama has certainly got his work cut-out!

Questions arise, "Who prompted the attack?" to sacrifice and slaughter 300+ innocent lives during Christmas 2008?

This looks like an Agatha Christie mystery.
