Sir:

Don MartinƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢ s comment ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ (May 16) on Tamil traffic strategy as a way to get noticed was an interesting observation.

What needs to be clear is that taking over the Gardiner Expressway was no spontaneous strategy by the pro-Tamil Tiger demonstrators last week, as it was orchestrated by the LTTE propaganda strategists.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  The Tamil Radio Station announcements in Canada were pulling the marionette strings.

MartinƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s observation is right again when he says ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ…-Search me.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  Sri Lanka isnƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢t a country that will jump to CanadaƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s command ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢¢”š¬…” and thereƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s not an MP in the Commons who believes otherwise.ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  If Canada ever had a Lester Pearsonian Nobel Peacemaker leverage over Sri Lanka, we frittered it away under the Liberal administration when we let the Tamil Diaspora collect 2 million dollars a month to stuff the Tamil Tiger war chest and refused to ban the Tamil Tiger terrorists when the rest of the worldƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ began toƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ ban them.

According to Jane‘s Intelligence, the Tamil Diaspora around the world raise as much as $200-300 million annually of which around 30 percent is contributed from Canada to procure weapons which has gone unabated despite CanadaƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢sƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  Anti-Terrorism Laws.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  In other words, Sri Lanka quite rightly believes that Canada has been part of their Tamil Tiger terrorist problem.

It is really sad that Canada has provided a stage for the most dangerous and notorious terrorist organization, the LTTE, to perform with impunity for so long their disinformation campaign against a fellow sovereign and democratically elected country. This is in addition to the fund-raising activities that have been going on since the first wave of refugees were allowed after the LTTE’s well orchestrated backlash carried out in connivance with the LTTE supporting Tamil IGP and Tamil DIG’s of police in Sri Lanka (SL) at the time in the early eighties. Ever since then, their strategy has been to create animosity and break up any possibility of a cordial relationship between the Tamil and the Sinhalese communities through strategically orchestrated hate crimes against the innocent Sinhalese civilians together with disinformation campaigns to brainwash the gullible masses. Just look around and see who the demonstrators on the streets are. Most of them are just young students, brainwashed to believe that the SL government is carrying out activities to ruin Tamils in SL. They even go to the extent of calling it genocide! The truth is far from this. I believe the SL government is the only government that has continued to supply the food and essential items to their terrorist enemies against whom they were fighting for the last three decades.

The protesters are mostly the brainwashed children who had been born in Canada and brought up here in Canada, with no idea what so ever about SL or it’s people. Another group of protesters are the refugee claimants who entered Canada, with financial and other support from the LTTE with the understanding that they would support it’s cause with financial and other resources. They are obliged to keep their promises. The third group of protestors are the LTTE terrorists themselves, who have entered Canada hoodwinking the Canadian authorities. The ordinary Canadian, with a big heart as always, has no idea about what is really driving these terrorists and their supporters. It will come to haunt them before long when the tax bill arrives at the door with increases to offset the policing costs and other expenses incurred on these protest rallies and, and perhaps at a later date, when these youngsters of today, with their brainwashed and warped minds, grow up to be the future generation of Canada. Is this what we want for our Canada?
