The word is that the residual LTTE leadership some of whom can now access Prabhakaran’s extorted wealth is going to declare a Tamil State in Exile.

For all we care they can form an Elam state in hell too. What is the point? Prabhakaran’s killer gang has been decimated by brave Lankan Forces and LTTE fighting force has evaporated into thin air. So much for the once world’s most feared terrorist group.. The Sri Lankan armed forced reined so superior and had tigers run for a few quick months before they all fell like a pack of cards against the ferocity of advancing troops.

Unlike 1980’s today’s Lankan troops are a tested and a battle hardened lot. They may not have the state of the art ultra modern battle toys but they know how to decimate even the most ruthless enemy. They also have lots and lots pure guts and bravery.

Moving forward It is best that a very large contingent of troops be stationed in the North and East in anticipation of any potential LTTE threats trying to infiltrate back. There need to be total zero tolerence for any future terrorist related act however small it may be. Such acts need to be neutralized with the full might of our troops so that no Tiger cub can ever grow into adulthood even for a moment. It is time Sri Lanka’s takes off into the 21st century and get caught up with the progress of the rest of the world.

This tiny but beautiful country of ours was bled to death for 26 years by the LTTE and eventually for nothing at all. They did not even get the bunker that Prabhakaran hid in.

Now the sun has finally dawned into a brand new day, its time our once serene island get back to being the pearl of the Indian ocean again. The people are ready.
