Dear Bob, Jim, Derek, Maria, Judy, John (McKay), John Cannis, Albina, John McCallum, Robert, Dan, Gurbax, Irwin, Borys, Andrew, Jack, Olivia, Paul, Peter and Wayne:

Ho! Ho!! Ho!!! Here comes SantaƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚¦Here Comes SantaƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚¦Right down ScarboroughƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s Eelam LaneƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚¦

Today, I truly feel like Santa Clause bringing good tidings to all of you all the way from that beautiful paradise island of Sri Lanka.

Remember, that cold Wednesday evening of February 4th, and you all participated in that hoaxy ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”¹…”Emergency Debate on Sri LankaƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢, which was really an animated Theatre of Tamil Tiger Blarney and you all performed well and got noticed by every Tamil in the gallery who were baiting you all with their votes at the tip of their imaginary fishing-rods. And you all went to town lambasting the Sri Lankan Government, charging them of genocide, cluster bombings, rape and every other vile war crime that you all could think of. And every Tamil in the Gallery had to spin a coin to decide whether to vote for the Liberals or the NDP during the next federal election as your performances were that convincing.

But what I noticed as would have the other non-Tamil Sri Lankan-Canadians was how you all couldnƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢t stomach how the Sri Lankan Armed Forces couldnƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢t care two prairie barley-straws of your collective hissy-fits as they went on with their business taking down the Tamil Tiger terrorists one by one, and liberating the 280,000 Tamils who were held hostage as a human shield by PrabhakaranƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s Tamil Tigers until these terrorists were finally wiped out on May 19th. Remember that February 4th, that amazing day, the day of the Canadian Parliamentary Gong Show?

Remember that evening when your Jim Karygiannis had the gall and the temerity to ask the Conservative Government: ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ…-When is the Government going to rise and say that if Sri Lanka does not change its ways, it is going to be kicked out of the Commonwealth?ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚ ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ…-Ha! Stop acting like a colonial-buffoon Jim, shut up and sit downƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚, I said under my breath.

And then a few of you like Jim Karygiannis and John Cannis wanted to know why the Government was taking almost three years to process the sponsorship applications of Tamils to get them over to Canada. And, of course, the thousands of the Tamil Tiger flag waving Tamils on Parliament Hill and blocking roads for traffic pressured you all to bring over their people from the IDP camps as they were dying of starvation, they said.

Since the first of July, It is beginning to look like Christmas for all of you and your Tamil constituents as I shall act Santa to bring you good tidings from the President of Sri Lanka, Mahinda Rajapaksa.

The President told his Cabinet on July 1, 2009, that he would not mind Canada and European countries giving asylum to the internally displaced persons (IDPs). Smart man! He knows his marbles.

ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ…-Canada has pledged to accept any number of IDPs. I do not mind these countries putting up visa offices in welfare camps to facilitate people willing to leave the countryƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚, he said.

Bingo! Yippee! So there you are and all you February 4th hissy-fitters are winners. You should use your Grand Lottery win handed to you all by the President of Sri Lanka. So letƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s get on siphoning out the Tamils that you all wanted to bring over so badly, any way. LetƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s claim 200,000 of them, hardcore Tamil Tiger terrorists and all before the Europeans claim them. LetƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s show the Sri Lankans how magical you all are by housing them, not in refugee camps, no sooner they land on our soil bumping the Canadians who are still waiting in line for years for affordable housing around the country.

This was one of the major complaints you all had, by asking the Sri Lankan Government to let loose the Tamils from the camps immediately after the war was over, into the land-mine infested countryside so that they could go and live in their roofless shells of bullet and bomb pocked walled houses, without a chair to sit on, or a pot to cook a meal. That was insane, disingenuous of the big-mouth braggadocios Canadian politicians you were, forgetting that even the Americans were still reeling after Hurricane Katrina, and the London (UK) County Council were still building houses in 1958, 13 years after the six-year World War II ended to house the British who were made homeless after the bombings. The Tamil Tiger separatist war lasted 26 long years.

I suppose we are rich enough even during the economic down turn to place the 200,000 Tamils that you will siphon out of Sri Lanka to appease your Tamil constituents on welfare immediately. Show Sri Lanka how it is done. Failing all this, I will be the first person to call all of you hissy-fitters BLUFF. You wanted the Tamils to be brought over from Sri Lanka for family reunification, now get on with it.

Now that this Santa has brought you good tidings to help you to bloat your voter bank, I will make you one more deal from the goodness of my heart.

If ever you find that the 747ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s get over crowded with the Tamil refugees at the Colombo Airport and too heavy to take off, I will have my Chandra, Vijaya, Rani, Raja, Kumar, Siri, Lanka, and Shanthi elephant sleigh get over to the runway and push the plane for its take off to the applause of all the Tamil refugees looking through the plane windows singing : ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ…-Ho Ho Ho, cherry nose Cap on head, suit thatƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s red, beard thatƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s white that must be Santa, he must be Santa must be Santa, Santa Claus. Thank You Santa.ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚ (I do have a white beard)

And by the way all you Liberal and NDP critics of the Sri Lankan Government who hung to every word that those five doctors from the No Fire Zone who said during the last days of the war, that the Sri Lankan Armed Forces were shelling the hospitals and killing civilians, and wanted the UN to intervene, now say they lied. They said that the LTTE made them lie.

ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ…-Now we regret that we lied regarding the shelling of hospitals by security forces and all the civilian causalities. There was not a single death due to starvation. But we are happy that we are in a position to tell the truth without any pressure from any partyƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚, Dr. Vardaraja said, adding that the five doctors congratulate President on ending the war.

Ha! While all you Liberals and NDPiers look like a bunch of fools, President Mahinda Rajapaksa has ended up in this whole episode smelling like roses. So much for the smart Alec Canadian parliamentarians. Oops! How embarrassing!

Most importantly, letƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s see how fast you can siphon those 200,000 Tamil refugees from the IDP camps in Sri LankaƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s and get them over to your Tamil constituents. That is what you all wanted, didnƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢t you?

I will be watching. So will be thousands of Canadian bleeding hearts,

Sincerely

Asoka Weerasinghe

    Dear Asoka!
Really a good article and exposed the bogus human right campaigners! We call them crocodile tears! Those who are not ready to give rights to original Canadians what else others can expect. Following is a summary from a UN Declaration on the right of indigenous People!

“United Nations Declaration on the right of Indigenous People was adopted by the UN General Assembly on September 13, 2007 by an overwhelming majority vote of 144 to 4.
The adoption of the Declaration was opposed only by CANADA, the United States, Australia and New Zealand”.

Where are the Bob,Jim,Derek, Maria and clique! When you guys point one finger towards others four fingers automatically point toward you. Those jokers doesn’t know where the Sri Lanka even in the atlas but to please Tamil Terrorist Supporters just barked I guess. But even dogs barked caravan went to Mulativu and sent Velupillai and other terrorist to hell. Who care those descendent of 18th century land looters and invaders.

Asoka – Good tidings from X Mas season. It is now upto you MPs to take the challange and help all those held up in IDP camps and “import” them to this land of “plenty”. If you do this now, there is no need to summon any more immergency sessions in Federal Parliament, at the expense of our tax dollars and demand to expell Sri Lanka from Commenwealth community. However you did shame by having that session on the day that a friendly nation was celeberating it ‘s Independent Day i.e. February 04th. We Canadians will always bear this in our memory. Good Luck.
