WHILE THE COUNTRY BLEEDS The Ministers Play Dry Jokes

Amanpour of CNN put the question to Palitha Kohona on Monday the 14th December as to why the army was firing at the surrendering LTTE troops when they were coming towards them with white flags raised. Only a person who saw the depth of feeling and emotion with which she spoke could realize what all those who saw it around the world think of us, our army and our country.

ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ To the best of my knowledge Amanpour is not a person of hate like most BBC people are hell bent to distort facts and present us to the world as a sub human species. I have watched many of her presentations and I must conclude that she has been thoroughly professional and unbiased giving the opportunity to the accused to counteract. Also the clarity of her pronunciation is unsurpassed by most others at CNN.

ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ To Amanpour as for all others it is their job and they put every ounce to excel in their profession. Palitha Kohona to whom this question was put was no match to her speed of delivery. He gave the right answer by saying that such an incident did not occur and as to the question why there were bodies he replied equally well by saying that in such a conflict there will be bodies but the viewers around the world were not convinced and they in the back of their minds associate Sri Lanka with such barbaric countries where people are stoned to death for adultery about which Hillary Clinton is silent.

ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ If the same question that Amanpour put to Kohona had been pout to Ajith Cabraal the governor of the Central Bank he would have been equally aggressive and countered her charges. While I saw it live on Monday the MTV showed it on Wednesday night.

ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ That was a clip that the government should have shown on all the channels to show the people the damage SF has done by making an allegation which he now denies he made. Why cannot the government at least show that denial to the rest of the world? Why cannot the government send a high speed fast thinking lawyer like the late Mr. Fernandopillai to talk to Amanpour? I am sure she will be delighted and she will do a professional job. If she is biased such a fast thinking lawyer with a good knowledge of English can make the audience realize that she is biased and she will not be able to establish the case against us. My question is ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ…-Why is the government not doing that?ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚ ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚

ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Also Mr. K. T. Rajasingham has provided more than sufficient information to halt SF on his track and again My question is ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ…-Why is the government not making use of that information?ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚ ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚

ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ It is well known that there are a whole lot of CBK men in the government. Could it be that it is these men who are behind the non-action? SF knows how shabbily CBK treated him while he was in service and that is what attracted the attention of MR to employ him to finish off with the LTTE. Today the very same SF may be feeling honoured by her support to him. Does he know that it is not support for him? Does he also know what support for him by CBK will mean to him?ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚

ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Lastly even if Robert O Blake and Hillary Clinton were to block any investigations in the USA against the son-in-law of SF the government could pick up on the charge of forging documents that were supplied to the Ministry of Defence as alleged in question number 17 of Mr, K. T. Rajasingham.

ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ What individuals like us can do for our country has severe limitations due to the fact that we have no power because the JHU on which we depended to protect our sovereignty has betrayed all those who worked so hard to make it a reality. My postings to Asian Tribune are returned with the message ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ…-over quotaƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚. The government does not publish anything. The Island does not publish for other reasons. Only Sinhale Hot News and Lanka Web publish what we write.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚

ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ And what do some of the Ministers do in the midst of all this? They play dry jokes on TV about SF that nobody is interested to listen to.

    ptraj,

Not only LJ, every patriot should defend the country when the country is facing unfair allegations. Lot of us do it all the time, but not for money. The terrorist leaders who were refusing to surrender, who were giving orders to kill escaping civilians, who were sending civilians to front line with weapons for them to get killed and , report civilian deaths, who were keeping the civilians forceably to protect themselves got killed. Why should SL army protect these leaders, who could not be trusted, to save them and put thier lives in danger.
They wanted to fight till death. What if they wanted to carry out a cuicidal attack at the last minuite. What can UN or any other do about it. Human right violation of terrorists , my bloody foot.

Dear LJ, it is good to see your articles at Lankaweb, the most appropriate web to carry your views. I wonder why you go with Asian Tribune, a manipulative website with vested ethnic interests at its core. There was an article based on pure fabrications to glorify an ethnic entity using facts owned by other ethnic identities as its own, published by them along with their core values that made me to assume that it is worse than Tamilnett. As well, Lankaweb has to be wary of giving opportunities for the opposite kind. Until I made a strong comment, Ananda Sangaree was manipulating Defence website to gain a foothold long before the defeat of Terrorists. They were lucky to bar that mongrel from making them look like morons as proven by its late antiques.

The real problem Sinhala community facing is the internal threat though we could easily face the external threats propagated by English empire and its stooges. Ref some comments, there was a stray dog asking for a Truth Commission, giving out thoughts just like picking food from a waste bin. What we need is our own group along the lines of CIAA, KGBB and MI66 to counter internal and external threats to our community. As you know, the prevailing legal system implemented by English and carried on by their lackeys favours criminals and the success rate is near zero on meting out penalties for crimes, which are a pat on the back for high crimes such as for those engaged in murderous acts. I am wondering why on earth, we should let free those who engaged in acts and omissions with the intent to kill or maim innocent human beings as a means to promote their ideas of savagery. Those caught fighting and carrying arms are as bad as murderers. If we had a judicial system that reflects the punishments fit for the crimes, there is no need for so-called extra-judicial activities. Unfortunately, whether it is through so-called legal means or illegal means, when the proper institutions fail, justice cannot be abandoned, as the humanity is driven by the natural justice that will take precedence over artificially imposed means to deny justice. On this respect, I wonder why we do not come up with our own conventions than submitting to Geneva Convention designed to favour and specifically to protect criminals during their misadventures that break every kind of agreement or civilised norms to unleash violence on innocent humanity. One fact that should remain emphasised is that those engaged in killing as a tool of settling disputes do have no rights to consider human beings. They must be eradicated. This is where we failed miserably in our long history leading to our current plight.

I think, it is we who failed to show to the world that English are sub human, not vice versa, using our knowledge of what makes a modern human in comparison to wild humans. Kohona is a person who may have a good understanding as you got, and should have smelt the stench behind this person. Never trust them or give credit to them as it could smack on our faces any time. They spent their lifetime to learn to pretend and hide their stench. As well I assume Kohona follows their way of defence with a lot of experience surviving in the state sector though we could do much better using our own way. I am not sure how on earth English speakers could ask such questions unless all other are idiots who know nothing about their good deeds so to speak. What a shame! We have come to accept daylight robbers, grand cheats, mass murderers, cannibals and half animals as our equals.

As long as we have the local English community at helm, we do not need any other enemies. It is time to kick them out and I am glad that they are doing it easy for us. I have told about what those behind JHU stand for. It is our time to face it on our own and I am sure we can make it happen.
