So was Ranil who employed Gonawala Sunil to carry out his crimes. He also built a torture chamber to torture JVP and innocent suspects. Later the house was demolished and a road built over it. Premadasa was a criminal in a way. But he did worked hard and for the common man. Rajapajsha BrotherƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s came out from somewhere to save the country. MR had first four years to get rid of the terrorist. Now he has to rehabilitate the Tamil refugees and then to eradicate the corruption. Six years is not enough to do that, when countries like America also corrupts our people. The war went for 30 years, lots of people made money out of it. Some would have been unhappy to see the end of the war because they were thriving on it. During this time lot of people also got rid of their opponents. The most disgraceful period of Sri Lankan history was from 1977 to 2006, when nobody new who is killing who. Mothers were waiting anxiously for their children and husbands to return home alive. I believe that Mahinda can reduce the corruption by 50% during the next six years, if Buddhist priests and the police help him.
