Consortium of Patriotic Organisations

Soon after, Tamil terrorism was expunged from Sri Lanka by literally drowning it in Nandikadaal lagoon, due to the unwavering determination, joined up thinking and collective action, the rejoicing nation was taken aback as rumours started to spread regarding an unfortunate state of affairs, namely, a rift between the General on one side and the President and the Secretary of Defence on the other.

This was soon followed by another rumour plunging the whole nation into a pool of amazement. This second rumour was, the army General who was assigned by the president to obliterate Tamil terrorism from this land, which was considered an impossible task, has himself entering the presidential race.

General Fonseka who had repeatedly said that he would never involve himself with politics, but suddenly making a 180ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚º turn, confirmed the suspicion already had among the people of this country. Subsequent, various contradicting statements and steps taken by General Fonseka caused wide spread astonishment. Consequently the nation justifiably suspected whether the General is being fomented by some force. This suspicion was strengthened since he, who had fought with the blessings of the nation for saying that this is the country of the Sinhala and it would always be ruled by Sinhala, decided to contest as the representative of America and other foreign forces and their agent Ranil Wickremasinghe and other separatists who were hell bent against the war in support of the Tamil terrorists. In fact this is not only a betrayal of President Rajapaksa, but of the whole Nation.

This, turning the back on the Nation, which supported him to save his life, by donating blood and performing various devotional activities, when he was on the verge of death due to the injuries sustained from the bomb attack by the Tamil terrorists, could only be described as, grossly treacherous. General Sarath Fonseka is indeed an ogre pausing as a Sinhala Buddhist, since he has become so cruel and exasperated to threaten imprisonment on President Mahinda Rajapaksa, who gave extremely generous support by way of providing best medical attention locally as well as abroad at the hour of need. Therefore it imperative for the Nation to defeat General Sarath Fonseka contemptuously and jettison him in to the deep dark sea.

We got to know about SF entering into politics from LTTE sources long before he announced it. No one believed it when a die hard LTTE said he met SF and, about SF faction. LTTE is clearly using SF to get rid of MR to achieve thier objectives of seperatism. And our Sinhal modayas are blindly getting cought in the treachery. Who is funding SF ??? Does anybody knows.

It is good to see so many patriotic organisations. I wish we could have a single genuine organisation to reflect Sinhala interests for people like me to work towards Sinhala objectives. Dear Chintha, I agree with the context of all your comments. But I do appreciate all of you to restrain from insulting Sinhala people by name. As English speakers and members of the community grown up inside English values, we seriously lack our ability to judge a true Sinhala person. When we insult Sinhala people by mistakenly assuming that the people you know or heard as Sinhala, it is nothing more than calling a monkey a lion or elephant. We have done extensive search to find true Sinhalaness and am myself ashamed of doing exactly what you have done without knowing an iota of what it takes to be Sinhala. Sadly, what happens around us is a quarrel between, Sinhala speaking migrants, half-Europeans, Tamils of all denominations, Muslims of all ethnic backgrounds etc. who happened to settle down during the present anarchic era running to nearly six thousand years. The worst happened after the arrival of Buddhism that turned many unworthy humans to be suicidal beggars waiting heavenly intervention to solve their problems. Even today, what many of you do not understand is that the real Sinhala people see the triviality of what goes around and have become observers of this conflict as watching a dog fight without becoming dogs. A real Sinhala person would never take part in this silly English democratic dance. As long as we use English and champion English values including the most despicable English Democracy, the word patriot is a meaningless word when translated into Sinhala. Interestingly, real Sinhala people have the answers to all their issues, but have difficulty to make lions/elephants out of rats who happen to speak Sinhala by having shelter among the Sinhala community. Until they kill each other or until rat poison is employed, we have to endure the current saga.
