Apparently, incarcerating Fmr.Gen Sarath Fonseka obviously a victim and cat’s paw of the Nation’s reactionary adversaries ~ translating to UNF baiting as well as being a pawn of Ranil Wickremasinghe and his motley alliance with the JVP, TNA, The Muslim League and the entire anti Government coalition comes with a price for the Nation so recently freed from the anarchy and threats of the LTTE terrorists.

ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ The coalition which tried to unseat the President with all the wrong means and rhetoric will probably aggravate the consequences of the court martial Gen. Fonseka faces and the Government must not be swayed or intimidated by the antics of the Opposition mobs and should deal with them forthwith.

ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ If Sarath Fonseka asked for trouble with his bad mouth, Phillistine mentality and abrasive anti Rajapaksha threat laced rhetoric backed by his cronies including Army deserters as agitators compounded by the evidence that he had planned a coup to assassinate President Rajapaksha it needs to be assumed that more than likely the UNP, JVP, TNA and other dissident groups would have backed him up to the hilt also and if investigations attest to it verifiably as well as tangibly the entire motley crew need to be tried for treasonous conspiracy against the head of a Sovereign Nation not just Gen. Fonseka.

ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ The so called voices in support of Fonseka whether they come from the UN, the US , the EU or Timbuctoo need to be silenced on the basis that their rhetoric is merely speculative whereas the Government investigative teams arresting Gen Fonseka have acted with authority and a mandate from the people of Sri Lanka who see Fonseka as a traitor who left himself open to his arrest and forthcoming court martial through his own irresponsible as well as high handed actions!.

ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ The UN as usual never seems to stop meddling in the internal affairs of Sri Lanka and the moment certain elements in the bigoted west start barking about an imagined violation of human rights, disregard to democracy and a slew of other unsubstantiable accusations set off by their frustrations over incidents like the Armed Forces arrest of Fonseka ( perfectly legal given the unfolding of events leading to it with hardly a semblance of truth to the innuendo from opponents) it, the likes of Ban Ki Moon to jump to attention in barking in unison with the bigots !

ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ The same seems to be true of the USA and the EU amongst other sources who are better off minding their own business in the case of Sri Lanka and letting the Sovereign Nation carry on its affairs which have never seemed untowards within the keeping of national as well as international law and the statutes of the land and to the goons who try to make it seem otherwise, tough luck! as the Rajapaksha Administration has every right to prevent anarchy and civil disturbances on the streets of Sri Lanka while crushing any and every rebellious attempt by the likes of the UNF led coalition and the conjoined ringleaders who also seem to be crying out to be subjected to punitive action.

ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Ironically when real human rights violations such as what goes on in Burma, certain African States, Afghanistan, Iraq and parts of the Mid East continue with abandon, the silence is deafening because invariably a superpower has the ultimate say and makes the ultimate choice which at times borders from the sublime to the ridiculous where the likes of the Ban Ki Moon rhetoric seems as far removed as the moon itself!

ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Practically everything in the retired General Fonseka’s conduct as he ran against the President glaringly pointed to a breach of many protocols both military as well as legislative and the man had the audacity to utter threats and unsubstantiable tough talk where all the while the outcome of where all his actions would lead him were incredibly transparent and hinged recklessly to his self confidence alone that he would topple the Rajapaksha regime and take charge but all this has backfired on him now.

ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ The Rajapaksha Administration~ to reiterate a previous bulletin~ does not dwell on lies and innuendo to carry them as the true champions of the Nation as did the Fonseka entourage which was proven by the outcome of the Presidential Election and the response of the people of Sri Lanka where the once worthy General now finds himself in dire straits.

ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ That Gen. Fonseka was playing with fire has been made very clear as just recently he challenged President Rajapaksha in the open media to arrest him if he can. while waving around a so called copy of an alleged plan to assassinate him which of course leaves much to speculation that it is not only cooked up but also seems to be a retaliatory move to counter the strong evidence uncovered by National Intelligence according to very reliable sources,of a Fonseka Coup attempt on the Rajapaksha Regime with strong opposition backing as well as a hughe stash of arms and ammunition!

ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Thus,When former presidential candidate and retd. Gen.Sarath Fonseka challenged President Mahinda Rajapaksa to arrest him if there were any valid charges without using Emergency Regulations to lock up his security personnel on baseless allegations, he was truly forcing the hand of the President who had with him all the ammunition needed to apprehend the General on charges of treason and plotting against the Sovereign Nation of Sri Lanka and in this respect it seems as though the dragnet to arrest such individuals should also have closed in on the leaders of the Opposition, the JVP as well as that of the TNA whose rhetoric and body language was not exactly Nation friendly as they egged on the hapless and misguided Fonseka who should have known better than to throw in his lot with the undesirables of the Wickremasinghe entourage et al and whose political future within Sri Lanka seems all but over!

The same undesirables are now causing a few hiccups on the streets of Sri Lanka and need to be dealt with effectively in the best interests of the nation and its people in order that the Nation functions freely and in a manner conducive to what Sri Lanka has always been~ A sovereign democrati Nation no longer encumbered by Tamil Tiger terrorists or would be neo terrorists from the UNF alliance .

whose misguided cohorts are taking their anger to the streets in an attempt to coerce the Government through intimidatory tactics backed by a paltry few thousands relative to the Nations’s population of patriotic Sinhalese and other pro government communities prepared to stand by the President both patriotically as well as defiantly and the outcome is bound to be adverse for the anti Government dissentors who need to be stopped in their tracks as the Justice System metes out the law of the land!
